Jason Kelce may still be exploring his options when it comes to life after the NFL, but if there’s any chance wrestling’s in his future, he’s already got a mentor locked and loaded.

The recently retired center made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 40, where he and Eagles teammate Lane Johnson jumped into the ring, their identities obscured by luchador masks, to assist Rey Mysterio and Andrade in their match against Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar, kicking off a potential new professional path for the athlete—one that seems to already be well-received.

When the duo ripped off their masks the crowd went wild, suggesting that wrestling fans would welcome a career shift from Kelce with open arms. Then, in the wake of the victory, WWE’s The Miz offered to train him, should he ever deign to set foot in the ring again.

According to TMZ, there’s a pretty good chance of it happening—plenty of folks they spoke with around the organization gave the publication a “resounding ‘Yes’” when asked if the WWE was open to additional opportunities with the NFL legend, though Kelce hasn’t at all addressed the possibility, though we expect to hear mention of it on the upcoming episode of New Heights.

The former NFLer is flush with potential right now, with Forged in Fire’s Doug Marcaida inviting him to participate in the History series and Arnold Schwarzenegger offering him his best advice for a potential gubernatorial run, just to name a few. But for now, Kelce doesn’t seem to have his eye on any specific prize, other than “looking forward to do[ing] something that’s not football.”

Retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, a franchise legend, has reportedly been approached by WWE for a potential appearance at WrestleMania 40, the biggest event of the year for the wrestling organization. According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, WWE has reached out to Kelce about potentially making an appearance at the two-night event, which will take place at the Eagles’ home venue, Lincoln Financial Field, this weekend.

It’s not unusual for WWE to bring in well-known athletes for major events like WrestleMania. In the past, they have featured athletes such as Rob Gronkowski and Lawrence Taylor. Gronkowski was involved in a confrontation with Jinder Mahal at WrestleMania 33, while Taylor faced Bam Bam Bigelow in the main event of WrestleMania 11.

With such an impressive career in football, it’s no surprise that WWE would be interested in having him make an appearance at WrestleMania.

In addition to the WWE opportunity, Kelce has plenty of post-NFL career options. His popularity extends beyond the football field due to his humor and charisma, similar to former NFL player Rob Gronkowski. This opens up various possibilities for Kelce as he transitions into life after football.

Kelce eyed for spectacular wrestling debut

Regarding WrestleMania 40, the event boasts 13 matches on the card, with Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship headlining day two of the event. With such a star-studded lineup, having Kelce make an appearance would only add to the excitement for fans.In response to the news, Kelce has yet to make any public statements about the potential WWE appearance. However, if he does decide to step into the wrestling ring, it would undoubtedly be a thrilling moment for both NFL and WWE fans alike. As Kelce explores his options for life after football, it’s clear that he has made a lasting impact on and off the field. On March 4, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce announced his retirement after 13 seasons in the NFL. Now, he has been immortalized with a mural on the side of a local Dunkin’ store.

A Dunkin’ restaurant located in Havertown, Pa.—roughly 9 miles west of Philadelphia— honored the elder Kelce brother with a mural in his likeness. The work of art, created by Glassblack’s Jimmy McMenamin, reads, “THANK YOU JASON!” along with a portrait of the 36-year-old and “KELCE” in large block lettering.

Meanwhile, the backdrop features the Eagles’ midnight green and silver mixed with elements of coffee, frosting and sprinkles for good measure. The words “Champions, “Underdogs,” Hungry,” “Super Bowl,” and “Philadelphia” are also subtly incorporated into the piece.

    Reds vs. D-backs Highlights

In addition to unveiling the Kelce-inspired mural on May 13, Dunkin’ presented a check for $13,000 to his charity, the (Be)Philly Foundation.

The donation supported the non-profit organization’s “mission to provide financial support and increased visibility to evidenced-based organizations that work to improve the mental, physical, and environmental health and well-being of Philadelphia Public School students,” according to a news release.

Attending the check presentation on Monday were Philadelphia Eagles mascot, SWOOP, Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders, Dunkin’s mascot, Cuppy, among others.

Travis Kelce has showered his mom, Donna, with several lavish gifts for Mother’s Day as the Kansas City Chiefs star splurged $5,000 on a Dior dress and more on French wine.

According to The U.S. Sun, a source close to the Kelce’s revealed that Travis teamed up with his older brother, Jason, to make sure that Donna felt the love from her boys on Mother’s Day this year.

The insider told the outlet that the annual celebration is ‘very, very special’ to the two Super Bowl champions.

Nonetheless, they treated their mother to two bottles of red wine: a 1988 Domaine Leroy-Vosne Romanee Premier cru Les Beaux Monts, which costs $3,900, and a 2018 Pomerol, which was bought for $7,900.

A $5,000 Dior shirt dress that ‘showcases the House’s hallmark Toile de Jouy motif in navy blue’ was also added into the mix of presents.

  • ‘I’m a big Wales guy!’ Travis and Jason Kelce to join Ryan Reynolds in Wrexham

‘I’m a big Wales guy!’ Travis and Jason Kelce to join Ryan Reynolds in Wrexham

NFL star Jason Kelce says he’s a ‘big Wales guy’ after being invited to Wrexham by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

The Philadelphia Eagles legend made headlines last month for comments he made about Welsh people while discussing former rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit’s move to the Kansas City Chiefs with his brother Travis.

I'm a big Wales guy!' Travis and Jason Kelce to join Ryan Reynolds in Wrexham - Wales Online

On the brothers’ New Heights podcast, he said: “When I think of Welsh, I think British people call it ‘posh’. I think of these rich, upper class, just beautiful white people. [Rees-Zammit] is the running stereotype of what I would think of with a Welsh person.”

READ MORE: Ryan Reynolds plans to build a gigantic football stadium in Wales

READ MORE: Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson sink pints with Wrexham fans as packed pub serenade them

But after being called out for those comments by Welsh listeners, he conceded that he had been “very incorrect” in his impression of Wales. However, he went on to say that he was “happy to be incredibly wrong” as “the Welsh seem exactly like my kind of people”.

That retraction led Wrexham co-owner McElhenney to invite him to Wales, as he wrote: “Yes, incredibly wrong. I should show you around someday. I might know a few people. See for yourself.”

Now, it looks as though that visit will actually happen, with McElhenney claiming that both of the Kelce brothers are coming over to watch a Wrexham game in the near future. His and Reynolds’ big plan, however, is to “lure” Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, to the Racecourse Ground.

Appearing on the Dan Patrick Show ahead of the release of the third season of their Welcome to Wrexham documentary, the actors were asked if they could get the ‘Shake It Off’ singer to make an appearance at a match, to which Reynolds replied. “That would be a coup. I would love that actually.”

McElhenney added: “I know for sure the Kelce brothers are coming out to a game, so it’s just a matter of time,” before Reynolds continued: “See, that’s our back door plan. That’s how you lure the Queen Bee.”

Kelce appeared to confirm he would be heading over to Wrexham, as he shared a clip of the interview on X and told his 587,000 followers: “I’m a big Wales guy, place is the best!”

If the Kelce brothers, and indeed Taylor Swift, do make it to the Racecourse Ground, they will follow a string of A-list celebrities who have experienced Wrexham for themselves since the club’s Hollywood takeover in 2021. The likes of Hugh Jackman and McElhenney’s Always Sunny… co-stars Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton have attended games, while Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd both popped into the now-famous The Turf pub for a pint on their matchday visits.

It comes after the two NFL stars said former Wales wing Rees-Zammit was in for a “humbling experience” after signing a three-year deal with the Chiefs, but had the potential to “take the world by storm” and potentially become the most marketable player in the history of the sport.

“It’s going to be a humbling experience at first,” said Travis, who contacted the Welshman after his signing was announced. “It’s not easy to just make that jump, they’re two completely different games. He is an athlete and that’s what the Chiefs saw. He’s a smart kid, a smart player. So he’s gonna be able to pick up the offense eventually.

“But it’s gonna be a tough few months for him here while he’s getting acclimated to the NFL. We’ve been doing this since we were kids, so we’re gonna have those little instincts that we’ve built over the years that he’s got to catch up with.”

Meanwhile, Jason added: “I’m excited to see what this guy does. I know it’s gonna be a learning curve, but I hope this guy takes the world by f***ing storm. It will be electric. With a smile like that, this guy, if he works out, he’s going to be the most marketable player of all time.”

  • Despite being retired, Jason Kelce visits the Eagles facilities “almost every day.”

Despite being retired, Jason Kelce visits the Eagles facilities “almost every day.”

You can take a man out of the fight but you cannot take the fight out of the man. This quote perfectly summarizes what Jason Kelce is going through. The “former” center for the Philadelphia Eagles has been happily retired for nearly 2 months but he finds himself in conflict as he is unable to stay away from the game.

Jake Elliot, the kicker of the Philadelphia Eagles sent fans into a frenzy after he stated via NFL Total Access that Jason Kelce has continued to show up every day to the team’s facility. While speaking on the status of the team’s locker room following the departure of Kelce, Elliott emphasized on the impact he had upon the organization. He credited him with having laid a solid foundation.

It’s always going to be hard to replace guys like Kelce and Fletch (Fletcher Cox) so we’re definitely sad to see them go but…you see little hints of them in the locker room now, they’ve made a huge impact that’s going to last a long time and those guys aren’t going to be far. I know Kelce has been in the building almost everyday already so they’re always going to be a big part of the organization. Jake Elliott said

Maybe the possibility of a Jason Kelce comeback is not that far-fetched after all.

Jason Kelce played 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles

The center has been enticed by the team’s offseason, it is hard to not be. The Eagles added Saquon Barkley, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and Bryce Huff to their roster in the offseason strengthening an already talented squad. On an earlier episode of New Heights with guest Saquon Barkley, Jason Kelce did seem to be considering a return.

However, despite the optimism, it is unlikely that fans will ever see him step onto the field again. After retirement, Kelce made it clear that he would continue to be there for the city of Philadelphia. He will continue to support his former team in an advisory role and has taken on the responsibility of grooming the younger and talented core in the locker room.

His life after retirement has been enjoyable. The next step for Jason Kelce appears to lie in broadcasting. He has already committed to ESPN to join the network’s Monday Night Countdown. The recent success of his weekly podcast New Heights with brother Travis Kelce has brought his entertaining side out to the public and made him an instant hit amongst fans. It would be great to see Jason Kelce announce a return to the NFL but at the moment, it seems highly unlikely that it will happen.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Good luck going anywhere these days without hearing or seeing something that has to do with Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce or his younger brother, Travis Kelce, the star tight end of the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The former was recently dubbed one of the “Sexiest Men Alive” by “People” magazine. The latter is dating Grammy-winning superstar Taylor Swift.

Together they host one of the hottest podcasts in America, lent their voices to a Philly-centric Christmas album, and have transcended the NFL to become pop culture icons in their own right.

Even the matriarch of their family, Donna Kelce, has become an endorsement powerhouse over the past 12 months.

“It’s been a whirlwind,” admitted Jason Kelce, who will try once more to beat Travis and the Chiefs for the first time when the Eagles visit Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night for a rematch of the Super Bowl.

“It kind of started last year with the podcast and everything, and I think it continued to grow more and more.”

It’s been on hyperdrive since the Chiefs rallied to beat the Eagles for the Lombardi Trophy in February.

That is when many football fans began to latch onto their podcast, “New Heights, with Jason and Travis Kelce,” where the duo provided a glimpse of their lives behind their facemasks. The Kelces rap on everything from what happened that week in the NFL to what happened in the worlds of TV and entertainment, all with a stunningly disarming sense of humor.

That’s also about the time that people began embracing Donna, who has made every effort to show up for both of her boys’ games over the years — including those against each other — yet had never been in such a spotlight. She famously wore a half-Eagles, half-Chiefs jersey to the Super Bowl, and there is little doubt she will bring it out again on Monday night.

Suddenly, the Kelce brothers were showing up on late-night TV shows. Playing in made-for-TV golf spectacles.

Raising millions of dollars for charitable causes. And yes, rubbing elbows with singers, actors and the Hollywood elite.

“You just try to take it one game at a time,” Jason Kelce said, using that well-worn cliché to describe the way he handles the hullabaloo. “You try to stay grounded with it. You try to stay realistic with it. You try to be the same person you are.”

Even if you are named one of the sexiest men alive.

Then there’s Travis Kelce, whose profile began growing the minute he stepped onto the field for his second season with the Chiefs. Since then, he’s been an All-Pro four times, selected to eight Pro Bowls, won three AFC championships and two Super Bowl rings — including that one at the expense of his brother.

Travis Kelce didn’t become a crossover star, though, until he mentioned his failed attempt at giving Swift one of her famous friendship bracelets during a stop on her Eras Tour.

Undeterred, he invited the songstress to watch him perform at Arrowhead Stadium, and after she took him up on the offer early this season, the two have been seen together all over the world.

That includes Buenos Aires, where last weekend Kelce took advantage of the Chiefs’ bye week to drop in on her concert. And in a scene that was all over social media, Swift not only changed one of her lyrics — “Karma is the guy on the screen” became “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs” — she also raced off the stage to kiss him after finishing a song.

“We’re learning with the paparazzi just taking photos from all over the place,” Kelce admitted. “You have a lot of people that care for Taylor and for good reason. Just got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.”

On the field, there have been a lot of good ones for both brothers.

The Eagles are 8-1 and were leading the NFC as they entered the weekend, while the Chiefs are 7-2 and atop the AFC. And while both teams have a long way to go, nobody would be surprised if they met again in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl.

The NFL certainly would have no problem with it.

The Kelce brothers — despite playing two of the least-glamorous positions in the game — no doubt have created countless new football fans with their off-the-field endeavors.

After all, how many “Swifities” have tuned in to see whether their hero will show up to the next Chiefs game, then became hooked on what happened between the end zones?

“Listen,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said this week, “ex-players have done a great job once they’ve gotten done. We know that. But to have the guys still playing and doing it, and still maintaining the support of their teams doing it? That means they are doing it the right way, and not putting coaches and players at risk. There’s no threat there. That’s when you get in trouble.”

Other players have transcended the sport over the years, though usually they play quarterback: Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and, yes, the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes.

But rarely have they dived so headlong into the myriad of ventures of the Kelce brothers.

That includes “A Philly Special Christmas,” which features Jason Kelce singing alongside Eagles teammates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson, and with Travis Kelce enlisted to sing “Fairytale of Philadelphia” on their sophomore effort.

It’s a lot that could take away from what happens on the field. Yet somehow, the Kelce brothers have thrived while doing it.

“This will continue to grow with other teams,” predicated Reid, who has known the family for decades, and even coached Jason Kelce when he was in Philadelphia. “How you handle it is important. And these guys have done a nice job.”

Travis Kelce beats brother Jason in Super Bowl LVII: ‘I love him’ | Jason jokes: ‘It’s gonna be an awkward podcast’

Travis and Jason Kelce are the first brothers to play against each other in Super Bowl history; Travis had 81 receiving yards and a touchdown in the Kansas City Chiefs thrilling 38-35 victory over Jason’s Philadelphia Eagles, who racked up 417 yards of total offense in defeat

Travis Kelce told his brother Jason that he loved him following his Kansas City Chiefs’ 38-35 win over Jason’s Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday.

The pair are the first brothers to play against each other in Super Bowl history, and an emotional Travis said it was a “weird feeling” to come out on the winning side against his older brother

The pair exchanged an embrace on the field after the game as the confetti flew for the Chiefs.

“You joke around all the time and say you want to beat your brother on the biggest stage, but its a weird feeling.”

Travis Kelce felt no one believed the Chiefs were going to win the Super Bowl while Patrick Mahomes says everyone in the locker room stepped up at half-time to inspire their epic win over the Eagles

He added: “There’s nothing I can say to him other than I love him and he played a hell of a year, a hell of a season.”

Travis had 81 receiving yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs’ victory, securing his and the team’s second Super Bowl in the space of three years, leading some to call Kansas City the NFL’s newest dynasty.

“You can call it whatever you want,” Travis said. “All I know is we’re coming back next year with our heart and the right mindset to try and get another one – I’ll tell you that right now.”

He added: “There’s one thing about getting your first one, and it’s a whole other feeling to get two.

“I wanted this one more than I wanted a game in my life. The guys in this locker room, the team-mates that I have felt the same way.”

Nick Sirianni and Jason Kelce showed their emotion during the national anthem ahead of Super Bowl LVII

Jason still has one Super Bowl championship to his name, won with the Eagles five years ago, and though he has ceded bragging rights to his younger brother with two rings, he was gracious – albeit still showing his competitive spirit – in defeat.

“Maybe it hasn’t hit me yet. I was a little emotional when I saw my mum and dad,” Jason said. “Trav, I was not too emotional about. I was just like, ‘**** you, congratulations’.

“But no, really, really happy for Trav. Played his ass off… Obviously would’ve loved to win, but happy for Trav for sure.

“There’s a lot of people I know over there in Kansas City that are a big reason why I’m even in Philadelphia, including head coach Andy Reid [who drafted Jason in 2011 while coaching the Eagles].

“Frustrated we didn’t win but certainly happy for those guys.”

The brothers have gained added notoriety this season with the launch of their successful podcast ‘New Heights’, while during the build-up to Super Bowl LVII, the Kelces’ mother, Donna, become a fan favourite as she brought the pair cookies on opening night and was seen bedecked in half-and-half Eagles/Chiefs jackets and jerseys.

She watched the game sitting next to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Travis said after the win: “I feel like this was the happiest year of my life – both off the field and on the field.

“To see my family be in all its glory and get all its flowers, my mum be the centre of attention on the jumbotron before the game, on the biggest stage, and being able to get closer with my brother throughout the season and to meet him at the mountain top, it’s the best feeling in the world.

“I don’t know how many more I’ve got left, but I’ll cherish this one forever.”

“It was an awesome two weeks for our family,” Jason added, before joking: “It’s gonna be an awkward podcast.”

Travis Kelce slipped on a midnight green Eagles jersey on Monday and prepared for a game in a much different fashion than usual.

Kelce, the Chiefs’ All-Pro tight end, wasn’t changing teams, of course. He simply took advantage of a day off and traveled to Philadelphia to watch his older brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce, play the Vikings in a “Monday Night Football” game.

The ESPN cameras caught Travis Kelce in the stands, beer in hand, enjoying the game. Broadcasters Joe Buck and Troy Aikman loved seeing the younger Kelce brother supporting his sibling in the City of Brotherly Love, as this video from Shane Williams shows.

Travis Kelce retweeted and NFL video and wrote: “The city of brotherly love!! #GoBirds”

As noted earlier, Travis Kelce was enjoying a beer at the game, and it was easy to tell which brand it was. Michelob Ultra’s social-media team certainly saw that and it tweeted a number of times about Travis Kelce’s taste in beers.
