Maybe it was a nod to his newest set of fans. Maybe it was pure coincidence? But Taylor Swift fans are convinced Jason Kelce’s tearful retirement speech was stacked with Swiftie-related Easter eggs just for them.

During the heartfelt announcement Monday afternoon, Kelce included two phrases that are also titles to Swift songs: “All Too Well” and “Wildest Dreams.”

He’s also retiring after his 13th season — Swift’s famously lucky number.

One NFL reporter even suggested that Kelce made eye contact with his brother Travis, who attended the news conference alongside the rest of the Kelce family, when he said “all too well.”

In the recent months since Travis and Swift’s relationship went public, the Kelce brothers have welcomed a surge of new fans into their corner.

When the Eagles’ season ended and Jason Kelce suggested to his teammates that retirement was looming, Swifties rushed to make fan edits, placing the lineman’s highlight reels and interview footage over Swift’s song, “Long Live.”

Swift, who is wrapping up the Singapore leg of her international Eras Tour, was not in attendance.

So how long until this new speech is turned into a fan edit? We’re betting the fans will be quick.

After announcing to hang up his cleats just a few days back, Jason Kelce is apparently testing his hands at driving for Uber. Does he have the talent? Maybe. His former teammate sure seems to think so. Jokes aside, Kelce isn’t really starting his career as an Uber driver, although he would sure excel as one. Imagine the stories he has in stock. However, this one-time lucky customer of Jason, as well as his former teammate, Beau Allen, needed a lift to the Philly Show on Saturday. The latter’s post, updating the fans about the same, has since left us in a frenzy.

The former nose tackle for the Eagles was invited to the Philly Show, a sports memorabilia event, where several legends, including Allen, signed autographs and took part in photo ops for fans. Ahead of the event, Allen took to X (formerly Twitter), to bless us fans with a selfie of him and Jason. The now-former Eagles center can be seen flashing a cheerful smile while Allen in the passenger seat gazes at the lens with a death stare. He wrote in the captions of the post:

“Needed a ride to @Philly_Show , thankfully this jobless bum could drop me off #uberdriver“

This post has since sent shockwaves among fans. The majority of fans crowded the comments with their carefully crafted takes, all reeking with sarcasm. While one fan quipped that he was surprised that Jason “can afford gas at this point“, another remarked that he “gotta get his life together.” Even the ‘New Heights‘ podcast joined in on the fun, asking Allen to consider giving Jason five stars. While carpooling with Jason is on everyone’s bucket list, there are already a few things fans feel he should take up in the post-retirement era.

Is Jason Kelce Becoming a Firefighter?

One thing other than an Uber driver that has come up more than once is Jason becoming a firefighter. With a towering stature of 6 feet 3 inches and a 295-pound frame, it’s no surprise why fans feel that the six-time First-Team All-Pro will very likely become a firefighter. Surprisingly, several betting sides have already started releasing odds about Jason Kelce’s next job. Not-so-surprisingly, Firefighter currently sits at the top with +400 odds, as per BetOnline.

Becoming a public speaker is another option on the table, with the same odds (+400) as becoming a smoke jumper. Regardless, fans appear to favor his move toward being a public speaker, which can mean many things. Perhaps a broadcasting gig, given that his podcast is already one of the most entertaining shows out there.

At the moment, Jason’s next steps and destinations are uncertain. But one thing is for sure — the dad of three will enjoy retirement to the fullest, enjoying that quality time he has been missing all these years due to commitments.

The Philadelphia Eagles‘ center has been expanding his real estate empire through multiple states, including a beach house in New Jersey’s Sea Isle City – but since 2018, he has focused on buying three adjacent properties in Haverford.

Kelce initially bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home in Pennsylvania for $680,000 after he married his wife Kylie McDevitt.

The loved-up couple, who met on a dating app, now have three young daughters together – Wyatt Elizabeth, Elliotte Ray and Bennett Llewellyn.

When they bought the picturesque property – which has an in-ground pool – they actually got it for $120,000 under the asking price.

Meanwhile, his other NFL brother Travis Kelce has just recently bought a lush $6million mansion in Kansas City, as rumors continue to swirl surrounding his blooming relationship with Taylor Swift.

‘New Heights’ was also the top sports podcast in America and the top American football podcast in the US, per Spotify.

The Kelces have new episodes published weekly despite their busy schedules in and outside of football.

Travis is a 34-year-old two-time Super Bowl champion as a tight end with the Kansas City Chiefs, whose notoriety has skyrocketed in recent months thanks to his romance with Swift.

Jason Kelce, the 36-year-old elder brother, is a center for the Philadelphia Eagles and father of three daughters.

Ed Kelce revealed that his younger son, Travis, happens to have a very soft spot for his three nieces.

While the Kansas City Chiefs star has become a household name due to his football prowess and high profile relationship with Taylor Swift, Ed shared how his nieces have ‘Uncle Trav’ wrapped around their fingers.

Ed was referring to Jason Kelce’s daughters with his wife Kylie. The pair share four-year-old Wyatt, two-year-old Elliotte and 11-month-old Bennett.

‘It all revolves around the girls, the granddaughters, as you can imagine,’ Ed said on Australia’s Today Show. ‘Who have, not surprisingly, both their grandfathers and their father wrapped around their fingers.

‘They can do whatever they want. And they have their Uncle Trav wrapped around their fingers when he shows up.’

After Ed mentioned how Jason’s household in Philadelphia is more family-centered, he pointed out the contrast with Travis’ lifestyle in Kansas City.

‘We’ve had some good barbecues out there and enjoyed it,’ Ed said. ‘He has a lot of friends that will show up. It seems like there’s always somebody from back home in Kansas City.’

Earlier this week, Ed shared that Travis was ‘keen’ to reunite with his popstar girlfriend in Australia as she resumes her record-breaking Eras tour. The 14-time Grammy winning artist flew from Tokyo to Las Vegas overnight to support Kelce at the Super Bowl on February 11.

‘Well, look, we spoke after the Super Bowl, and I asked him, ‘Are you going to take off for Sydney?’ and he seemed keen,’ Ed told the Sydney Morning Herald. ‘He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments.’

Kelce’s week since winning their third title in five years has been split between Kansas City and Las Vegas. On Tuesday, he was spotted back in Sin City while participating in a charity golf tournament.

On Wednesday, however, TMZ reported that the Chiefs star boarded a private jet and was en route to the land down under for Swift’s tour.

Swift has four more performances in Sydney’s Accord Stadium before taking the show to Singapore in March. The tour will then make several stops in Europe before wrapping up in Toronto and Vancouver.

Jason Kelce and wife Kylie Kelce are all about celebrating family.

Less than two weeks after welcoming daughter Bennett Llewellyn, the newly-minted family of five celebrated daughter Elliotte Ray’s second birthday, as Kylie shared on Instagram Monday.

“A few days late, but Elliotte is officially 2!” Kylie captioned a set of pictures, which show the toddler smiling in a floral nightgown and winter beanie, standing and smiling in her crib and later in a store with her mom and big sister Wyatt, 3.

In a video shared, Kylie and her daughters were strolling around the store when the toddler spotted a t-shirt with the Philadelphia Eagles center’s face on it and pointed, saying, “dada” and “daddy” sweetly.

The mom of three, 30, also shared a photo on her Instagram Story of her homemade Bluey cake for the birthday girl.

“I said that as long as Ellie looked at this and said ‘It’s Bluey,’ that it would be a success,” she wrote. “When I asked her who was on the cake, she shrugged and said, ‘a bunny?’ ”

Speaking with PEOPLE 38 weeks into her pregnancy as she prepared to see her husband compete in Super Bowl LVII, Kylie opened up about what she loves about Jason as a girl dad.

“I don’t think in his life, Jason ever assumed that he would be the father of three daughters,” Kylie told PEOPLE.

“He would always be like, ‘No, no, we’ll get a boy. We’ll get a boy.’ And I’m like, ‘You got to stop challenging the universe. Stop saying it because you’re the universe is like, ‘Yeah, okay,’ ” she chuckled.

“I used to tell him before we had our first daughter, she’s gonna have you wrapped around her finger. He said, ‘I’m not gonna spoil her!’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t think you understand.’ ”

“It’s been amazing to see him sort of transformed from only having a brother, not having any first cousins, so really having like no experience with little girls. And now, he is absolutely head over heels in love with his daughters, and they feed that back to him tenfold,” she shared.

In a wholesome TikTok posted by Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie, on Monday, their four-year-old daughter, Wyatt, familiarized herself with her dad’s team, the Philadelphia Eagles, play against the Los Angeles Rams.

“Just another swiftie tryna [sic] learn football, or a kid tryna avoid a nap. Who Knows?” the NFL wife jokingly captioned the pictures, shouting out her husband’s team with a “#GoBirds”.

As the sharp-witted repeatedly asked “who’s that,” pointing to the screen when a player would pop up, Kylie obligingly answered, further explaining their roles.

The caption referred to the phenomenon following pop sensation Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce’s budding romance, whereby Taylor’s devoted fanbase, who call themselves “Swifties”, started studying up on the NFL.

Moreover, as Swift took a breather from her ongoing record-breaking Eras Tour and attended multiple of her new admirer’s football games over the past few weeks, the league’s viewership drew in a huge female viewership, per Page Six.

Now, if her dad being in the NFL wasn’t already enough to pique her interest in football, the blossoming romance between her uncle and her favourite musician seemed to have done the job.

Jason Kelce will celebrity bartend at the Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, to raise money for the Eagles Autism Foundation for the fourth straight summer this June.

The Ocean Drive told CBS News Philadelphia the event will happen on June 26 but didn’t provide any other details.

Last year, Kelce was joined by his brother, Travis, and they raised more than $380,000 for the Eagles Autism Foundation. At the moment, it’s unclear if Travis will return this summer, but 2023’s event also featured some of Jason Kelce’s friends and Eagles teammates, including guard Landon Dickerson and former Birds great Trent Cole.

Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie, teased the event on her Instagram story from the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City with “IYKYK” and “6/26” as the caption.

Since Jason Kelce officially announced his retirement from the NFL in March, he’s been living his best life.

A few days ago, the video of Travis chugging a can of beer during what looked like their convocation ceremony made rounds on social media and he received a lot of flak for his behavior, with people calling it immature and childish.

However, as per Jason, it wasn’t their graduation ceremony but the end of a New Heights Live podcast that they hosted live at the University of Cincinnati to raise money for the University’s NIL. It was made to look like a convocation by the University, taking a jibe at Jason and Travis for not picking up their diplomas. Both of them, during an episode of New Heights, had already clarified that it wasn’t a real graduation. However, Travis’s abysmal chug was dunked on by his older brother.

Showing everyone how you really chug a beer, Jason posted a video of former Jets Center Nick Mangold, chugging beer from a can at a Rangers’ playoff game, with a caption praising Nick’s chugging technique and intensity and expressing his love for the NHL. One-time Super Bowl said,

“Beautiful!! @nickmangoldthe intensity of this chug and the sweater just take it to a whole other level, damn I love NHL playoffs!!”

Jason’s love for hockey stems from his playing the sport during his school days. Both he and Trav have talked about their love for the NHL many times on the podcast.

Jason Kelce is revered in Philadelphia for his love for the city and its sporting culture. On the latest episode of KG: Certified, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce were asked to recollect the time when they first met a star player that left them in awe. Instantly, both the Boston Celtics legends came off as fanboys as they revealed their first interactions with Michael Jordan and how the Chicago Bulls legend was “glowing”.

As soon as the question was put out for the panel to answer, Kevin Garnett immediately named three superstars who had left him overwhelmed – Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Charles Barkley. Detailing about his experience, KG revealed how cinematic Jordan’s entrance was to the event.

“The ni**a (Michael Jordan) walk out here, I swear to god, it seem like everything is stopped. This ni**a is moving in slow motion. Every motherf**ker in here looking at him and he know it. Never seen anyone own the stage like bro,” Garnett narrated.

Paul Pierce had a similar tale as his co-panel member. During his college days, Michael Jordan and the Bulls visited Pierce’s university to play a preseason game against the Seattle SuperSonics. The then-Kansas Jayhawk revealed how MJ came to the occasion wearing a suit, leaving him amazed.

“So he came up in a suit. I swear, he was just glowing… Damn, that’s Mike. I’m in college too. So, I got to shake his hand and take a picture with him and all that. But I don’t know if I ever met another person like that in my life,” Pierce said.

The Boston Celtics legends are merely two people from the sporting world to talk about MJ and his glow.  Whether one was a fan of him or not, every individual who has seen His Airness in person agrees that MJ had a certain aura that no other megastar had.

Similar to Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, Damian Lillard was also left in awe when he first saw Michael Jordan. Back in 2022 during the NBA’s 75^th Anniversary Event at the All-Star Weekend, Dame was astonished being in the presence of all the past legends of the game. After spending time with the likes of Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, John Stockton, and others, Lillard explained what it felt like once Michael Jordan walked in.

“When we get in the hallway, we see MJ walking towards us. He’s walking, and there are more cameras on him by himself than there were for all of us, and that’s when you really saw the difference of, like, man, this dude the GOAT,” Lillard narrated on the Knuckleheads Podcast.

While Dame Dolla didn’t get to meet and exchange greetings with the five-time NBA MVP, he remembered how he was fascinated, standing alongside Clyde Drexler and starring at Michael Jordan.

“I still ain’t never met him! I was standing next to Clyde staring at him like… that’s Jordan,” Dame said.

Even his own teammates, the people who saw him every day, were in awe of Jordan. Jud Buechler, who spent the locker room with MJ for four years, spoke about the exact same aura.

“MJ, he just had this aura about him,” Buechler said, as reported by Sports Illustrated.

It is pretty understandable why people are amazed at seeing Jordan. Apart from being one of the greatest and most accomplished players ever, MJ has also been a cultural icon, inspiring an entire generation whether or not they pursued any kind of sport.

Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce were undoubtedly imposing figures on the basketball court, but their aura paled compared to that of Michael Jordan.

Recalling their first encounters in an episode of Ticket & The Truth Podcast, both Boston Celtics legends admitted to being starstruck with His Airness merely stepping on the court. In particular, KG emphasized how he’d never seen anyone ‘own the stage’ like Mike.

“When you look at the sun and look at something, you gonna see a green (mark). The ni**a walk out here, I swear to god, it seems like everything is stopped. This ni**a is moving in slow motion. Every motherf**ker in here looking at him and he knew it,” Garnett said. “Never seen ni**a own the stage like bro.”

While ‘The Big Ticket’ gushed over how fellow NBA players couldn’t stop being starstruck by MJ, even when they were playing against him, Pierce mentioned how he first saw Jordan play when the Chicago Bulls played a preseason game at Kansas against the Seattle SuperSonics. He gushed over the glow the six-time Finals MVP had, and even though ‘The Truth’ got a chance to meet Jordan, he was simply mesmerized.
