Jason Kelce had a good time Wednesday all in the name of charity.

The Philadelphia Eagles star downed 30 ounces of beer and did it in 5.7 seconds. Kelce was at Ocean Drive Bar & Restaurant in the Jersey Shore town to raise money and awareness for the Eagles Autism Foundation.

He took on radio host James Seltzer in a drinking contest.

As you can see from the video below, Kelce took a quick lead and finished strong.

Kelce’s younger brother, Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, was also at the fundraiser, which raised $100,000 for the foundation last year. Jason Kelce donated an extra $50,000.

Jason Kelce has his little brother’s back.

The retired NFL player defended Travis Kelce for chugging a beer during the pair’s impromptu graduation ceremony at the University of Cincinnati earlier this week.

When a fan on X asked the former Philadelphia Eagles star, 36, to “question” his brother’s “graduation antics,” Jason responded, “I know it looks like a graduation from the video, but this was actually at the end of a ‘New Heights Live’ podcast that we put on to raise money for the University’s NIL.”

He went on, “The university did this to poke fun at my brother and I for never really picking up our diplomas.”

The brothers hosted a live taping of their chart-topping podcast at their alma mater Thursday, and the university surprised the duo by honoring them with their diplomas.

Complete with caps and gowns, the ceremony came almost two decades after Jason’s freshman year. The eldest Kelce brother attended the college from 2006 to 2010, while Travis was a student from 2008 to 2012.

The Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, completed his remaining credits to earn an interdisciplinary studies degree in 2022 but didn’t attend his commencement.

Jason, for his part, earned a degree in marketing and didn’t attend his graduation either.

“A surprise commencement we’ll never forget. Congratulations to Travis and Jason on (finally) picking up their diplomas!” the university captioned a post on X.

Earlier in the night, Travis was seen grooving to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift’s song “Shake It Off.”

Though Swift, 34, didn’t attend the event, fans were surprised by special guests Joe Burrow and Travis’ former Chiefs teammate Orlando Brown Jr. 

The brothers’ parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, along with Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, were also seen supporting the athletes at their home-state show.

A few days ago, the video of Travis chugging a can of beer during what looked like their convocation ceremony made rounds on social media and he received a lot of flak for his behavior, with people calling it immature and childish.

However, as per Jason, it wasn’t their graduation ceremony but the end of a New Heights Live podcast that they hosted live at the University of Cincinnati to raise money for the University’s NIL. It was made to look like a convocation by the University, taking a jibe at Jason and Travis for not picking up their diplomas. Both of them, during an episode of New Heights, had already clarified that it wasn’t a real graduation. However, Travis’s abysmal chug was dunked on by his older brother.

Showing everyone how you really chug a beer, Jason posted a video of former Jets Center Nick Mangold, chugging beer from a can at a Rangers’ playoff game, with a caption praising Nick’s chugging technique and intensity and expressing his love for the NHL. One-time Super Bowl said,

“Beautiful!! @nickmangoldthe intensity of this chug and the sweater just take it to a whole other level, damn I love NHL playoffs!!”

Jason’s love for hockey stems from his playing the sport during his school days. Both he and Trav have talked about their love for the NHL many times on the podcast.

Jason Kelce is revered in Philadelphia for his love for the city and its sporting culture. Often seen wearing the orange of the Philadelphia Flyers, the NHL team based in the city, the 6-time First Team All-Pro Center’s love for hockey started when he was young and used to play the sport during his youth before switching to football completely.

During an earlier episode of the New Height podcast, the Super Bowl winner had the pleasure of laying his hands, kissing, and even hugging the holy grail of all trophies- the mighty Stanley Cup. However, keeping with the sacred tradition, he didn’t hoist the trophy, something which is only reserved for the winners. He even put Bennett, his youngest daughter inside the cup.

Now retired, he has the opportunity to watch the games regularly and even chug as many beers as he can. Both Travis and him have earned the right to live and enjoy their life any way they want.

Even as Travis Kelce has become a household name around the world, he still finds time to play the role of doting uncle.

During a Monday, February 19, interview on Australia’s Today Show, Travis’ father, Ed Kelce, explained how family time with the Kelces is all about son Jason Kelce’s three young daughters — who clearly love their dad’s famous brother.

“It all revolves around the girls, the granddaughters, as you can imagine,” Ed said. “Who have, not surprisingly, both their grandfathers and their father wrapped around their fingers. They can do whatever they want. And they have their Uncle Trav wrapped around their fingers when he shows up.”

“We’ve had some good barbecues out there and enjoyed it,” Ed said. “He has a lot of friends that will show up. It seems like there’s always somebody from back home in Kansas City.”

Ed and ex-wife Donna Kelce raised their two sons in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, which bred the name of their highly successful podcast “New Heights.”

“The boys have been very fortunate,” Ed continued. “They have a very tight circle of friends that they grew up with that they see a lot. People that have been important in their life that have helped shape them into the young men they are. They never forget that.”

On the topic of Travis’ relationship with girlfriend Taylor Swift, Ed hinted that his son might soon be jetting off to the Land Down Under to see Swift, also 34, perform on her ongoing Eras Tour.“Well, look, we spoke after the Super Bowl, and I asked him, ‘Are you going to take off for Sydney?’ and he seemed keen,” Ed told the Sydney Morning Herald in an interview published on Tuesday, February 20. “He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments.”

Whatever the case, Travis better make up his mind quickly, because Taylor’s tour hits Sydney’s Accor Stadium for four consecutive nights beginning Friday, February 23. From there, she heads to Singapore for a run of six dates beginning Saturday, March 2.

Earlier this month, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Travis “will be joining Taylor [Swift] on her tour and traveling with her.”

Ed Kelce tells ET that his nieces will ‘flip over’ meeting the singer.

Despite some reports circulating, Taylor Swift has not met all of Travis Kelce’s family. While the 33-year-old singer has became fast friends with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s mother, Donna Kelce, and has been introduced to his father, Ed Kelce, she’s yet to meet Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, and his wife and kids.

This has a lot to do with the fact that it’s football season and Jason — who is married to Kylie Kelce and has three daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett — is the starting center for the Philadelphia Eagles.

ET’s Nischelle Turner recently spoke with Travis and Jason’s dad, Ed, who revealed that Taylor has yet to meet his three granddaughters. “They’ll flip over [meeting her],” he says of when the introduction does happen. “No doubt.”

As for whether Ed or his granddaughters have seen Taylor’s concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, he admits there isn’t much time for that right now. “During the middle of a NFL season? It’s tough to get time to do it,” he notes. “I mean, it all kind of revolves around the games and the boys.”

During a recent interview with NBC Sports’ Peter King, Jason expressed his concern about the fan and media frenzy surrounding Travis and Taylor’s relationship.

“It’s certainly been weird, the level that it is now,” the 35-year-old athlete said. “On one hand, I’m happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he’s excited about, that he is genuine about. But there’s another end of it where it’s like, ‘Man, this is a lot.’”

Jason continued, “There’s paparazzi talking about him fueling his car before the game today and I’m like, ‘Is that really necessary information to share?’ This is another level of stardom that typically football players don’t deal with.”

Clearly concerned for his younger brother, Jason added, “So, on one hand, [I’m] really, really happy for my brother and where he’s at in his current situation with Taylor. But on the other hand, there’s some, I think, alarms sometimes with how you know, over-in-pursuit people can be.”

That being said, Jason is confident that that he knows 34-year-old Travis “can deal with some of this,” so “long as it’s not, you know, becoming a threat to his safety and things like that.”

Jason Kelce and his family are continuing to make memories together on the football field.

The Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, was photographed with wife Kylie, 31, and the couple’s three girls — Bennett, 11 months, Elliotte, 2½, and Wyatt, 4 — as the family of five attended the Pro Bowl together in Orlando, Florida.

The Pro Bowl wasn’t the only fun the Kelce family had in Florida. All five Kelces enjoyed some time together at Walt Disney World Resort, posing for a family photo with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Jason repped Mickey on his shirt, while Elliotte and Wyatt, whom he held in each arm, rocked the park’s signature mouse ears.

The two girls also enjoyed some classic Disney snacks — a hot pretzel and churro — while Bennett posed with mom Kylie.

And while the Kelce kids were all smiles in their photo with the famous mice, meeting Frozen characters Elsa and Anna was priority No. 1 for the family — and particularly eldest daughter Wyatt.

After arriving in Orlando for his seventh career Pro Bowl appearance last week, the NFL star told PHLY reporter Zach Berman, “I don’t even know what you do in the Pro Bowl anymore. But it’s down in Orlando, so I get to take my kids to Walt Disney World.”

“Not off-the-Super Bowl Walt Disney World, but as long as Wyatt gets to see Elsa, I don’t think it really matters,” he added.
