In the annals of NBA history, Dennis Rodman’s name is synonymous with the Chicago Bulls’ golden era alongside the legendary Michael Jordan. Together, they clinched two NBA titles, etching their names in basketball folklore. However, beyond the courts, Rodman’s life took a tumultuous turn, leading to a financial downfall that captured headlines worldwide.

Rodman’s journey from sporting triumph to financial turmoil is a cautionary tale of lavish spending, legal battles, and personal struggles. Despite earning millions during his illustrious career, his financial mismanagement and tumultuous personal life eventually led him to declare bankruptcy.

One of the most staggering blows to Rodman’s finances was the loss of $34 million in child support payments to eight different women. This revelation shocked the sports world and underscored the importance of financial literacy and responsible management, even for high-earning athletes.

The fallout from Rodman’s financial woes serves as a stark reminder of the pitfalls of fame and fortune. It highlights the need for athletes to surround themselves with trusted advisors and adopt prudent financial strategies to secure their futures beyond the limelight.

Nevertheless, amidst the adversity, Rodman’s story also carries lessons of resilience and redemption. Despite his financial setbacks, he continues to strive for personal growth and has become an advocate for mental health awareness, using his platform to inspire others facing similar challenges.

As Dennis Rodman’s journey unfolds, it serves as a compelling narrative of triumph, tragedy, and resilience—a story that transcends the basketball court and resonates with audiences worldwide. Through it all, Rodman remains a symbol of both the heights of athletic achievement and the complexities of the human experience.

  • Jason Kelce Rocks a Floral Shirt — Instead of Going Shirtless — to Support Brother Travis Alongside Wife Kylie

Jason Kelce Rocks a Floral Shirt — Instead of Going Shirtless — to Support Brother Travis Alongside Wife Kylie

Jason Kelce opted against going shirtless this week — at least so far.

The Philadelphia Eagles center not only pulled out his “Big Yeti” shirt again to cheer for his brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday — but he also added an extra layer of clothing over that T-shirt.

In a sequel to his viral shirtless celebration last week, Jason, 36, attended the AFC Championship game, where the Chiefs squared off with the Baltimore Ravens.

This time, Jason wore a Chiefs-colored floral button-down over a “Big Yeti” shirt and a Chiefs beanie hat — a stark contrast to his bare-chested look at the Chiefs-Bills game on Jan. 21 — as seen in an Instagram photo posted by Patrick Mahomes’ half-sister Mia Bliss and another from Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas.

Jason cheered alongside his wife Kylie Kelce, PEOPLE confirms, and parents Ed and Donna Kelce.

“Big Yeti” is a longtime nickname Travis earned in college while playing for the University of Cincinnati.

On the brothers’ joint podcast New Heights, they explained that Travis was given the nickname after playing pickup basketball games shirtless.

“I had the big beard, I had the long hair, I had the chest hair, back hair, arm hair, leg hair,” Travis said on that 2022 podcast episode. “I was just a big ole Yeti out there, man. All the homies on the court were calling me ‘Big Yeti’ — especially ’cause I was a low post player, so I was just down there giving work, handing out work in the post.”

In an interview with Good Morning America this week, Jason’s wife Kylie, 31, revealed that at last weekend’s game her husband’s “top priority” went unfulfilled, leading him to take off his shirt.

The mother of three said Jason “wanted to get the full Bills experience” while tailgating before kickoff, describing football fans in Buffalo as “famous for their tailgating skills.”

”He desperately wanted to go through a table,” Kylie shared on GMA. “It was on his checklist for the day. Top priority of the day: go through table. He did not get a chance to do that.”

That’s when Jason told his wife, “I’m gonna take my shirt off, and I’m gonna jump out.”

During one of his forays outside of the VIP suite — which the couple shared with Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, as well as parents Ed and Donna and other friends — the Eagles veteran spotted a young girl who hoped to get a glimpse of the “Anti-Hero” singer.

As seen in a TikTok video, Jason helped give Rochester third-grader Ella Piazza a boost and positioned her so that Swift could read her sign.

Going into the Jan. 28 game, it was not certain if Jason would provide an encore to showing his “boobs,” as one of his daughters described during the Chiefs-Bills game.

But on Wednesday’s episode of New Heights, the brothers talked about the big game and Jason’s shirtless moment.

“I wanted to take everything off and be out there with the fans,” Jason said. “I don’t know if I’m wrong in my head, but I feel like taking your shirt off is a Buffalo Bills thing, right?”

Travis said it was “a moment that I’ll never forget” — even though he was only made aware of it after the game ended.

“Dude, that picture is… I mean everybody’s saying put that thing in the Louvre. Honestly, I might get somebody to f—ing make that portrait,” he said jokingly, referring to the viral content that the shirtless moment inspired and the calls from fans who said the photo should be hanging in the famous art museum in Paris. “That is epic.”

  • Despite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Eagles Slander, Jason Kelce Cherished WrestleMania Meet Up With the WWE Superstar

Despite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Eagles Slander, Jason Kelce Cherished WrestleMania Meet Up With the WWE Superstar

Jason Kelce has not been keeping idle ever since he retired from football. He has been making it to NBA games, hosting his podcast as well as planning for the “Kelce Jam” in Cincinnati. But recently, during WrestleMania 40, a backstage encounter between Jason Kelce and his childhood idol Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson sparked a thrilling moment of nostalgia and excitement.

In the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce shared his recent meeting, as well as recalled his first meeting with the legendary wrestler, actor, and entrepreneur. A meeting he would never forget.

Jason Kelce recounted his first memorable encounter with Johnson, which took place years ago at the Eagles’ training facilities. “He probably doesn’t remember that, but I remember it, because I think everybody remembers when you meet The Rock for the first time,” Jason said. Seeing Johnson again, this time in the vibrant atmosphere of WrestleMania, was a special moment for Kelce. He expressed his admiration for Johnson, “He’s been such an explosive personality for the wrestling world.”

He said even though the Rock had trolled Eagles fans at the event. Arriving nearly two hours late at the event, he was met with boos, which he promptly addressed with his usual flair. “What are you booing? Are you booing because The Rock was supposed to be here at 4 o’clock, is that what you’re booing?” He then teased Eagles fans with a dig at QB Jalen Hurts, saying, “[The Rock] was watching YouTube, watching Jalen Hurts lose in the playoffs again. You boo because it’s the truth.”

But all this was forgotten when the former Eagles Center and his viral picture together took the Internet by storm.

Kelce and the Rock make the Internet go gaga over their picture

On a thrilling Saturday night at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, Jason Kelce surprised fans by stepping into the octagon. Kelce joined wrestling legends Rey Mysterio and Andrade to take on Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio—Rey’s son—in a dynamic tag-team match. Alongside him was his former Eagles’ teammate, Lane Johnson, adding to the excitement.

The event became even more memorable when Jason Kelce and The Rock teamed up for a photo that quickly went viral. Dwayne Johnson was wrestling in a prominent tag-team match alongside Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. In a social media post that quickly captured the attention of fans, an image featuring Johnson was captioned as a “legend,” garnering over 1.1 million views to date. This special night at the Eagles’ home venue not only marked a nostalgic return for Kelce but also showcased The Rock’s continued involvement in wrestling as a part-owner and spokesperson for the United Football League.

As Kelce navigates his transition from the NFL to his next career phase, he could draw inspiration from The Rock’s diversified success across entertainment and sports.

Abehind-the-scenes photo of Jason Kelce hanging with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at Wrestlemania 40 has gone viral.

The former Philadelphia Eagles center made a surprise appearance at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday night, joining WWE legends Rey Mysterio and Andrade in the ring.

The 36-year-old Kelce helped the duo to defeat Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio—Rey Mysterio’s son—in a tag-team match, along with his former Eagles’ teammate Lane Johnson.

As the younger Mysterio tried to whack his opponents with a chair, two masked men hopped into the ring to stop him. Lane Johnson, who stands at 6 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 325 pounds, snatched the chair from the 27-year-old’s hands, while Kelce chucked him into a ring post. The NFL stars removed their masks—which were Eagles’ green—to celebrate the victory, sparking thunderous applause from the crowd.

Dwayne Johnson was one of several former WWE icons to return to the ring during the two-day event. The 51-year-old partnered with Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins during the first night’s main bout, beating their rivals.

After crashing Wrestlemania 40, Kelce bumped into Dwayne Johnson, with the duo posing for a photo. The Rock put his arm around the retired football star’s shoulder for the snap, while a clearly elated Kelce raised his fist in the air.

The image was shared to X, formerly Twitter, by the “New Heights” podcast, which Kelce co-hosts with his brother, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

Declaring Johnson a “legend” in the caption, the post has so far received over 1.1 million views.

“This is so awesome,” commented @freethinkerJT. “2 legends in one frame,” wrote @afzaal ch.

“Next guest on the podcast??” asked @JenD_04.

“The crossover we didn’t know we needed,” wrote Stefanie Ricchio.

“Trav is going to be so jealous,” posted Tee Smith.

However, other users said the photo was “badly timed,” hitting out at Johnson’s recent comments about the president.

During an interview with Fox & Friends on Friday, the Fast X star discussed his endorsement of Joe Biden during the 2020 election.

“[It was] the best decision for me at that time,” Johnson told host Will Cain.”Am I going to do that again this year? That answer’s no.”

Johnson said that Biden’s presidency has “caused an incredible amount of division in our country,” although he didn’t say whether he planned to vote for Biden’s likely Republican rival, Donald Trump.

“There’s going to be no endorsement,” he said. “I’m going to keep my politics to myself.”

Several users hit out at Johnson in the comments section of his photo with Kelce, dubbing him a “coward and a jerk.”

“Not The Rock, he’s a sellout,” commented @goodtrouble_ca.

“I’m done with him,” wrote Cami.

“Only one legend in this pic and that’s Jason Kelce!” posted Sumac.

“No, please, no,” commented Sebastian, while Jennifer Durot advised Kelce to “distance himself” from Johnson.

  • Jason Kelce delivers first pitch at Phillies game. Fans say he ‘out did’ his brother Travis

Jason Kelce delivers first pitch at Phillies game. Fans say he ‘out did’ his brother Travis

Jason Kelce is still showing off his Philadelphia pride after retirement.

Kelce and his former Philadelphia Eagles teammate Fletcher Cox, who announced his own retirement from the NFL less than a week after Kelce’s press conference, threw out ceremonial first pitches at the Phillies game on March 30.

Despite Kelce sharing on X days before the game that Cox would be the only one throwing the ball because his “elbow doesn’t work,” both recently retired NFL stars took to the mound for the ceremonial first pitch.

MLB shared video of the moment on X, capturing Cox and Kelce both donning Phillies shirts with their jersey numbers, 91 and 62. They took their places on either side of the mound and got ready to throw their pitches to Phillies players Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber.

On a scale from Dr. Anthony Fauci and Snoop Dogg’s embarrassingly bad first pitches to Jennifer Hudson’s perfect strike, Kelce’s pitch made it all the way to Harper at home plate, though it came in a bit too low to be considered a strike.

While Kelce had a fairly successful first pitch, his younger brother Travis Kelce wasn’t as lucky when he threw out the first pitch at a Cleveland Guardians game back in April 2023.

The Kansas City Chiefs star’s ball stopped well before home base before ricocheting off the grass and hurdling towards home plate, causing Guardians pitcher Shane Bieber to lose his balance.

The tight end laughed off his blunder on social media, writing on X, “Been spiking a football for the past 10 years… can you tell?”

Fans shared their thoughts on Jason Kelce’s first pitch on social media, with one fan writing on X, “The Phillies should have kept Jason Kelce on the mound today,” referring to the Phillies 12-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves.

Another fan celebrated Kelce’s pitch, writing, “Jason Kelce with a nasty sinker for his first pitch.”

Other fans took an opportunity to compare Kelce’s first pitch to his younger brother.

NBC Sports Philadelphia reporter John Clark wrote on X, “@JasonKelce > Travis @tkelce first pitches.”

“Out did Travis’ first pitch with ease,” one user on X wrote.

Another added, “Trav about to catch some first pitch strays over this. Dude Jason brought it even with 9 fingers and 1 1/2 elbows.”

“Did Jason actually do better than Travis and not throw behind the back stop,” one X user wrote alongside a video of Kelce’s pitch.

After the pitch, Kelce and Cox got a chance to greet Harper and Schwarber before they all posed for photos together, which were featured on the Phillies’ Instagram.

Kelce and Harper got to share a moment from one Philadelphia star to another when the baseball player asked the NFL legend to sign his cleats, according to NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Cox and Kelce also took an opportunity to sit in the booth with NBC Sports Philadelphia and cheered on the Phillies after J.T. Realmuto hit a solo home run.

Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, was also in attendance at the game, People reported. The couple were both decked out in Phillies gear to show off their Philadelphia pride.

Kelce was spotted alongside former Eagles teammate Lane Johnson as the two NFL linemen assisted Mysterio and Andrade in defeating Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio in a tag team grudge match.

The Philadelphia stars emerged ringside sporting matching green Eagles luchador masks, black shirts, and blue jeans, with Kelce finishing his attire with Timberland boots.

Kelce then showed why he was an All-Pro center in the NFL by pushing Dominik Mysterio face-first into the corner ring post before tossing him back onto the canvas.

The help from Kelce and Johnson allowed Rey Mysterio to land his iconic 619 before winning the match.

The two former Super Bowl champions then hopped into the ring, taking off their masks in celebration.

Kelce jumped on the ring ropes and shouted to the crowd before shaking everyone’s hands as the crowd at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia went berserk.

NFL fans and WWE viewers reacted similarly and flooded social media with responses to the two Eagles legends’ surprise appearance.

“Jason kelce vaulting straight over the ropes is his true dream come true. You know he’s thinking, ‘f—k yeah Jason, that was cool as hell,’” this fan said.

“Jason Kelce and the WWE is a match made in heaven,” another declared.

“Jason Kelce is enjoying his retirement exactly how you’d expect Jason Kelce to,” a third stated.

“Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson making their WWE debuts as luchadors and frying Dom got me crying haha,” another fan shared.

“Jason’s moving good… might have one more year in him..” this fan suggested.

Kelce played 13 seasons in the NFL, spending his whole career with the Eagles until retiring last month in a heartfelt press conference.

He was voted to the NFL’s All-Pro team six times, the Pro Bowl seven, and won one Super Bowl.

Kelce has grown into a sports media mogul over the years as he and his brother, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, have a flourishing YouTube show titled “New Heights” that debuted in September 2022.

The former Pro Bowl center appearance at WrestleMania on Saturday is after WWE superstar The Miz told TMZ that he believes Jason’s at would be “a home run” if he did wrestling.

“He could be very dangerous in a WWE ring – not only with just the athleticism and the part of the wrestling, which I think he can absolutely do.”

Jason Kelce receives an unexpected gift following surprise WrestleMania appearance

Jason Kelce appears to be enjoying his first offseason without NFL football. The recently-retired Philadelphia Eagles center maintains his successful “New Heights” podcast with brother Travis, and he made waves on Sunday with an appearance at WrestleMania XL — held, of course, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Kelce‘s WrestleMania cameo during a tag team match surprised many, but the 36-year-old himself would be in for a surprise when he received a special gift from another celebrtiy attendee at the biggest event in wrestling.

    Video thumbnail

Jason Kelce surprised by Drew Barrymore’s gift after WrestleMania appearanceInstagram

    Drew delivers a “golden title”

    Thank you for watching

The WWE championship belt is becoming a bit of a fixture with the Kelce brothers. Most recently, Travis sported the belt back in February as his Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their second Super Bowl victory in as many years. It’s the third time this decade that the WWE has commissioned a special belt to a Super Bowl champion, as part of its partnership with the NFL — and in 2022, Travis donned the belt at Jason‘s expense, after the Chiefs defeated the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.

But actress and talk show host Drew Barrymore, making her own surprise appearance at WrestleMania, had a special gift for Jason and longtime teammate Lane Johnson backstage at the Linc: the golden championship belt, which Jason was delighted to receive.

Barrymore was among several celebrities on hand in Philly to watch the biggest event in wrestling. Rapper Lil Wayne performed at the event, while DruskiSnoop Dogg, Meek Mill, and San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle were all spotted over the two-day event.

It remains to be seen whether Kelce will become a WWE mainstay or whether this was simply a perfect confluence of events, but it is an interesting possibility now that his NFL days are at an end. He certainly was a popular figure at WrestleMania XL, and his affable nature makes his future in the sport one to watch.

Retired NFL Legend Jason Kelce Pulls Off Insane WWE Stunt, Is WrestleMania Next?

Former multiple-time NFL All-Pro center Jason Kelce might just have a future in WWE one day.

Kelce recently rocked the American football world after announcing his retirement from the game he dominated.  He had a 13-year career, earning a Super Bowl ring along the way. Throughout his time playing in the pros, Kelce played for the Philadelphia Eagles. He might be playing for a different team in another industry if his latest stunt is any indication.

A clip from “New Heights” was recently posted, and it showed Jason Kelce doing what any sane athlete who just retired would do, he went through a flaming table. It’s clear that Kelce was channeling his inner Mick Foley.

We’re not so sure if WWE would let him come crashing down on a flaming table these days, however. Kelce would appear to be a perfect guest for major WWE events since he has the personality to relate to WWE fans.

Let’s just hope that if he does show up at WrestleMania, the security team will actually know he’s a part of the show, unlike what happened with Rob Gronkowski back in 2017.

Well, if Jason Kelce decides he wants to pop up for either night of WrestleMania 40 this year it would make all the sense in the world. After all, this year’s WrestleMania will be held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. While “The Showcase of the Immortals” often has fans travel from all over the world to attend, the locals would surely be pleased to see the future Hall of Famer inside the ring.

WWE usually brings massive names in for WrestleMania events. This tradition was no different for the 40th anniversary of the showcase of the immortals.

Rey Mysterio and Andrade teamed up at WrestleMania 40 to take on Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio. In the end, two unexpected WrestleMania guests got involved.

During the tag team match, two massive luchadors showed up at ringside. They helped Mr. 6-1-9 and Andrade win the match. Then the two masked men revealed themselves to be Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson.

This was a big surprise for the Lincoln Financial Field crowd, as the pro football players celebrated with Rey Mysterio and Andrade. In the end, both Kelce and Johnson also tore off their shirts in the midst of the excitement.

Jason Kelce played 13 seasons in the NFL, and in every one of them, he was the starting center for the Eagles. At 36 years old, he is now retired and he had a great time at Mania.
