Jason Kelce’s Wife Kylie Addresses Claims She’s Avoiding ‘Taylor Swift Spotlight’

The mother of three clapped back at a recent headline, telling her followers, ‘F**k around and find out!’

Kylie Kelce is setting the record straight on a recent comment about the massive amount of public “attention” her family has received in recent months.

During an interview with reporters earlier this month in Kansas City, the wife of Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce responded to a question about being in the spotlight — seemingly a reference to Jason’s brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift.

“Your family’s been getting a lot of attention over the last couple of months, how has that switch flipped for you? How is it feeling?” the reporter asked.

“It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera,” Kylie — who was promoting her kids’ field hockey clinic, “Stick With KC” — replied. “I was a communication major in college, I love to be behind it. That’s my bread and butter. But at the end of the day if it creates opportunities like this where we can lev

“Go watch that interview,” she urged her followers on TikTok. “I said it’s not my cup of tea to be, like, have attention on me.”

She continued, pointing at the headline, “I didn’t say that. That seems like a stretch to me. You are reachin’, you’re reachin’, you’re reachin’.”

She didn’t mince words with the conclusion of her video, declaring, “I’m gonna tell you what we truly believe at the bottom of our hearts in Philadelphia: F**k around and find out.”

While Kylie made clear her objection to the headline, she did not offer any thoughts on Travis and Taylor’s romance.

Jason, meanwhile, has spoken out about his support of Travis’ new love. In a heartfelt moment of brotherly love on the duo’s podcast, New Heights, Jason said that “it was a lot of fun” seeing Travis’ whirlwind weekend with Taylor in Argentina unfold on social media. At the time, Taylor notably changed the lyrics of her song “Karma” to reference her new beau and was seen hugging and kissing him as she ran offstage at the end of her set.

“It was a lot of fun seeing the look on your face,” Jason said. “So I’m glad that you enjoyed it, Travis.”

Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce, recently told WSJ. Magazine that Travis is “happier than I’ve seen him in a long time.”

She cheekily added, “God bless him, he shot for the stars!”

For her part, Kylie has recently leveraged her own popularity by auctioning off an autographed Philadelphia Eagles letterman jacket, earning $100,000 for the Eagles Autism Foundation. She and Jason, who married in 2018, are parents to three daughters — Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 9 months — and share two Irish Wolfhounds — Winnie and Baloo.
    Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce
As for Jason’s recent inclusion as one of People‘s Sexiest Men Alive, Kylie gushed in her interview, “I’ve known this the whole time! This is not news to me.”

She sweetly added, “At the end of the day, he’s still tucking in toddlers at the end of the night and getting called in for kid duty.”

Family is everything for Travis, who recently said that their respective familial bonds is something that he and Taylor connected over.

“Everybody knows I’m a family guy,” he told WSJ. Magazine. “Her team is her family. Her family does a lot of stuff in terms of the tour, the marketing, being around, so I think she has a lot of those values as well, which is right up my alley.”

erage my network and figure out how to impact a community that has been so, so kind to the entire Kelce family, I’m so happy to be able to give back to Kansas City in this way.”

She also shared that she wouldn’t be sitting in her brother-in-law’s suite for the Chiefs vs. Eagles game that weekend.

“I’m a stands girl,” she explained. “I love sitting in the stands, cheering with the fans, even if it’s in an opposing team’s stadium. Travis has a lot of people that come to games, appropriately so, everyone loves to support him but it means that it’s a tight squeeze in there. Also, it’s fun to cheer and not feel like the entire room’s rooting against you.”

In the end, Jason earned his first NFL win against his brother’s team as the Eagles beat the Chiefs 21-17 on Nov. 20. It’s also worth noting that Taylor was not in attendance for the game, as she was in Brazil to perform a rescheduled Eras Tour show.

As Kylie’s interview made its way around the internet, the mother of three found herself compelled to shut down one headline that proclaimed she was “trying to avoid the Taylor Swift spotlight.”

Jason Kelce’s big decision: return or retire? Philadelphia Eagles star has the broadcasting world waiting in line to hire him, but the allure of one more NFL season may prove too tempting

It wasn’t until March 13 of last year, following the Eagles’ Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs, that Jason Kelce announced he’d be returning for another season.

That date is still a couple of weeks away, but it’s felt like an eternity since Kelce’s Eagles were eliminated from this postseason – setting up another massive decision for the 36-year-old.

Since that loss to the Bucs on January 15, there’s been no definitive word from Kelce on his playing status, though ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported shortly after the game that the center informed his teammates he’d been retiring.

At least so far, that has yet to come to fruition. Some may have thought that Kelce would wait until after the Super Bowl to declare his decision, so as to not steal his brother Travis’ thunder, but we’re now nearly a month removed from the Chiefs beating the 49ers – with no more clarity on Jason’s future.

During a recent interview with Dana Carvey and David Spade on their ‘Superfly’ podcast, Kelce at least kept the door open for a return to the Eagles.

‘I don’t know. I’m trying to figure it out right now,’ he said. ‘Right now, exploring different opportunities if I end up retiring,’ Kelce said.

‘Still working out and staying in shape if I end up playing again.’

Unlike many, less famous players mulling retirement, Kelce has another career waiting for him the second he hangs his cleats up.

The center, who hosts the ultra-successful ‘New Heights’ podcast with his brother Travis and filled in on Amazon’s Thursday Night Football broadcast during his bye week this season, looks destined for a career in broadcasting if he wants it.

He’s already met with executives from Fox and ESPN, according to Front Office Sports, as he used Super Bowl week in Las Vegas to ‘make the rounds’ with networks.

The Sun also reported that there was already a ‘scramble’ among several broadcasters to win Kelce’s services – and that he could make up to $5million per year for his football analysis.

Jason and Travis Kelce’s ‘New Heights’ podcast is huge with football fans during the season

The Ohio native is affable, funny and – despite his superhuman athletic talents – comes off as relatable, with his modest fashion choices and his beer-chugging exploits during his brother’s games.

For those reasons, he would likely thrive as a broadcaster.

Perhaps movies could be on the horizon as well.

He already starred in the eponymous ‘Kelce’ documentary on Amazon Prime, which detailed his decision on whether or not to keep playing following the 2022 season, while brother Travis is reportedly set to serve as an executive producer for a pair of Hollywood films.

But he may not be ready to step away from the field just yet.

‘No matter how you handle it, no matter who you are, how well prepared you are to enter the next stage, everybody goes through a level of depression, really,’ he said of retirement, on Chris Long’s ‘Green Light’ podcast.

‘The end of one of the things you love most in your life is there and you are going to have to come to grips with that.’

If Kelce decides this is not yet the end for his football career, the Eagles will be much better for it.

The center, who earned a sixth All-Pro selection after the 2023 season, is still at the top of his game.

In fact, his levels have only risen as he’s gotten older, as all of his All-Pro selections have come after age 30.

Still, Kelce will come at a high cost to the Eagles if he returns to Philly for a 14th season.

His one-year, $14.25million deal in 2023 was the highest in the league among centers, though he technically made just $1.165million in base salary, with most of his contract converted into a signing bonus spread across multiple voidable years.

While Philly fans are likely eagerly awaiting a decision from Kelce, he has time: his contract is designed to allow the Eagles to keep him on the roster until June, and put him on the retired list then if chooses not to return. The dead money of any player ($27.8 million for Kelce) released or traded after June 1 is spread over two seasons.

So, while Kelce would likely be expensive for the Eagles to retain, expect Philly to once again kick the can down the road somewhat if the talented center returns, giving him a lucrative deal that the team will mostly pay for in future years.

The Eagles are currently about $22million under the cap per Spotrac, though that includes a ‘fake’ placeholder contract for Kelce with a $10million cap hit – which could change if he inks a fresh deal.

Kelce will be welcomed back to the Eagles’ offensive line if he wants to keep playing, though Philly will likely want – and expect – a firm decision before the NFL Draft on April 25.

On one hand, drafting a replacement of Kelce’s caliber is a long-shot. On the other, he was selected in just the sixth round.

Eagles GM Howie Roseman will want to know what direction he needs to head in as Philly tries to bounce back from a disappointing end to 2023.

Throughout the offseason, Kelce has framed his decision on whether or not to keep playing as a struggle.

When a fan told him not to retire while he was signing autographs at a Pro Bowl practice, he said, I’m gunna try not to.’

And when he was on the field at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore after his brother Travis and the Chiefs beat the Ravens in the AFC Championship, Kelce exclusively told DailyMail.com , ‘Whenever you’re around this atmosphere, man, it’s really hard to not want to continue doing this.’

Kelce, it seems, is stuck between his love of the game and his desire for a different life – one that would feature more time with his wife, Kylie, and their three daughters.

There’s nothing else for him to prove. Six All-Pro selections, one Super Bowl win, countless highlight plays on the O-line – if he retired tomorrow, he’d be an easy Hall of Fame pick.

Of course, a decision of this magnitude goes far beyond resume-boosting, and Kelce’s football bug may just bring him back for one more year.

Kylie Kelce isn’t just a regular NFL spouse, she’s a cool one because she likes to give back.

On Saturday, April 27, Kelce, 31, teamed up with the Eagles Autism Foundation nonprofit organization for its “One Weekend One Cause” fundraiser at the Suburban Square mall in the Main Line suburbs of Philadelphia. Any shopping or dining purchases at participating retailers would be partially donated to the nonprofit. (Kylie and her husband, retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, are fervent supporters of the charity.)

“Wandering around @suburbansquare today,” Kylie wrote on her Instagram Story on Saturday. “Come shop to give back to @eaglesautism!”

In a follow-up post, Kylie revealed that she would gift one lucky fan a pair of Dandelion Jewelry’s “LOVE” earrings if they spotted her in the jewelry store.

“First person to find me in @suburbansquare and say, ‘I love the Eagles Autism Foundation’ will get a pair of the @dandelionjewelry LOVE earrings,” she wrote.

The brand had crafted a range of Eagles-approved merch of necklaces and earrings that feature the word, “Love.” (Philly is famously known as the City of Brotherly Love and its NFL team also has a signature play called the Brotherly Shove.)

Kylie was quickly found by a lucky fan, who asked the former field hockey star for a selfie.

“Thank you @kykelce for all you do for Philly!” the social media user captioned her Instagram Story selfie. “You are an amazing role model for girls and boys.”

Kylie also met a trio of college students at another one of the mall’s stores, who shared the photo onto Instagram Stories.

Kylie has been a fan-favorite Philly celebrity ever since she started dating Jason, now 36, in 2015 after matching on Tinder. The couple wed in 2018 before welcoming three daughters together.

“Our dynamic made it so it was not that I was in a relationship with a professional athlete, it was very much that I was in a relationship with Jason, whose profession is football,” Kylie said in Jason’s eponymous 2023 Prime Video documentary. “I didn’t tell anyone who I was dating [at first].”

She continued, “The last thing I wanted to be like, ‘I think I’m falling in love with this guy’ and then having him be like, ‘Oh, I got like, six other girls waiting,’ which is like the stereotype of a football player. Now that we’ve been together as long as we have, it’s entertaining that there was any hesitation at all, just knowing him the way he is.”

Jason announced his retirement last month, which Kylie commemorated by ordering a custom wood model of the Eagles’ Lincoln Financial Field arena.

11–13 vs the Cowboys Jason Kelce reveals a hilarious Tesla Cybertruck sticker while brutally taunting Jerry Jones’ team

Jason Kelce’s creative humor has stuck again. While the former Eagles star retired just last month, he is still taking shots at his team’s rival, the Dallas Cowboys. Most recently, the father of two had got his hands on a Tesla Cybertruck that brought around some mixed emotions online. However, that did not stop him from taking something people were hating on and turning it into something that made him laugh.

Ever since Kelce bought his Tesla, he wanted to add a hint of his personality to it. He soon found that the best way to do it was with stickers that echoed his sentiments about the NFL world. Now, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that the 36-year-old had added a new one that trolled the Cowboys’s owner, Jerry Jones.

The sticker featured the Cowboys’ logo being urinated on. In the clip, Kylie Kelce could be heard saying, “Ugh, typical. That’s amazing,” as her husband showed her his latest addition to his truck. After all, with the father of two following mainstream celebrities like Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, and even Jay-Z with his purchase, he had to add his own spin to the Cybertruck.

While Kelce may no longer be a part of the Eagles, the sticker proved that the rivalry will forever live on. After all, the 36-year-old had a record of 11-13 against the Cowboys during his NFL career. He might not be ready to let go of what could have been. However, his former team seems ready to go into the new season with their new star players.

In fact, with the NFL Draft wrapping up just hours ago, the team shocked the world when they snagged the son of a legendary Birds LB along with 5 other players.

The Eagles’ 2024 NFL Draft picks after Jason Kelce departure

After three days and 257 picks, the 2024 NFL Draft came to an end. Most of the top choices had been taken off the table in the first round. However, the Philadelphia Eagles managed to snag a few shining stars. On day 1 of the draft, the Jeffrey Lurie team chose cornerback, Quinton Mitchell from Toledo. The team also added another cornerback, Cooper DeJean, to their lineup.

On day 2 of the draft, the Eagles also landed up with the talented EDGE, Jalyx Hunt. So far, everything has been going great for the team. However, day three ended up being the biggest of them all. On day 3, they drafted RB Will Shipley, wide receivers Ainias Smith and Johnny Wilson, linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr, Michigan’s Trevor Keegan, and center Dylan McMahon.

All the picks called for a moment of celebration. However, Lurie and Howie Roseman seemed to want DeJean on their team more than anyone else. In fact, they even admitted to being obsessed with having the 21-year-old join the Eagles.

Luckily for them, their dream ended up coming true. The team has filled up a new roster after their losses last season and the emotional retirement of Jason Kelce. However, it will be awhile before the former Super Bowl winners prove they have what it takes.

  • When the Eagles drafted him thirteen years ago, Jason Kelce laughed off their mispronunciation of his name

When the Eagles drafted him thirteen years ago, Jason Kelce laughed off their mispronunciation of his name

“They know how to spell it now,” Jason said on their “New Heights” podcast

On New Heights, the brothers reminisced about a spelling error dating back to the 2011 NFL Draft
In a tweet announcing Jason being drafted, the Eagles spelled his last name “Kelsey”
After Travis mentioned his brother’s accomplishments, Jason used the opportunity to echo his retirement speech, and called himself “overrated” as a player

Jason and Travis Kelce are setting the record straight about the spelling of their last name.

On the latest episode of the brothers’ podcast New Heights, Travis revealed to his brother that the Philadelphia Eagles actually misspelled “Kelce” when the team announced on Twitter that they had drafted Jason as the 191st pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

A screenshot of the Eagles’ tweet then appeared on the screen: “The #Eagles select C Jason Kelsey from Cincinnati with the 191st pick!”

“Completely botched your name and now you’re the greatest player to ever play in the Eagles uniform,” Travis told Jason, who said he hadn’t realized the mistake at the time.

Travis then continued with the compliment, and added: “They know how to spell your name at least now, it’s probably gonna be on the stadium at some point.”

Yet Jason, who is widely lauded as one of the greatest centers in NFL history and is viewed as a lock for the NFL Hall of Fame, had a more restrained view of his own accomplishments in the league.

About a career which spanned 13 seasons and led to seven Pro Bowl selections, six first-team All-Pro selections and one Super Bowl title, Jason echoed the sentiments he shared in his retirement speech about being “overrated.”

“I firmly like that most of my career had to be earned,” he said on the podcast. “It is crazy how overrated I am. I’m not even close to the best Eagle in my time with the Philadelphia Eagles”

Jason continued, “Like Fletcher Cox, Jason Peters, Lane Johnson. There are so many people who have meant more to wins and losses and have been better players.”

“Maybe in the stat book,” Travis interjected.

“Not just the stat book,” Jason returned, “Like, I couldn’t block Fletcher Cox one-on-one. Like, it’s a legitimate thing. The credit that I’ve gotten has been because of the work that’s been put in.”

Jason’s comments continued a theme from his retirement speech.

“So this all brings us here to today, where I announce that I am retiring,” Kelce said, through tears, nearly 40 minutes into his speech on Monday. “Where I announce I am retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and today, I must admit, I am officially overrated, vastly overrated.”

On this week’s podcast, with time to reflect on the accolades and good will shown from family, fans and the Eagles about his retirement, Jason allowed one moment to show he was proud of his own accomplishments.

“They didn’t know how to spell my name back then,” he said. “They know how to spell it now.”

Michael Jordan’s competitiveness has been a theme throughout “The Last Dance” documentary and former Boston Celtics great Danny Ainge was among ex-NBA players who recalled a story about why he competed harder than anyone else.

Jordan was on Team USA when the squad competed in the Tournament of the Americas in 1992. The Americans defeated Cuba in one of the exhibition games, 136-57. Jordan only scored six points in the monumental victory, but Ainge was wondering why Jordan competed so hard against an inferior team.

Ainge told ESPN in a story published Tuesday that the two played golf the next day and he picked Jordan’s brain.

“I get to the game and I’m beat. The sun was really hot that day. I’m sitting there watching Michael, and he was just unbelievable. He was picking up guys full court on every possession for the entire 30 minutes he played. I couldn’t believe how much energy he had,” Ainge said.

“We played golf the next day, too, and I asked him, ‘Why were you playing so hard in an exhibition game?’ And he told me, ‘I don’t want anyone thinking they belong on the court with me.’”

“My mentality was to go out and win at any cost,” Jordan said during Episode 7. “If you don’t want to live that regimented mentality, then you don’t need to be alongside of me because I’m going to ridicule you until you get on the same level with me. And if you don’t get on the same level, then it’s going to be hell for you.”He added: “Winning has a price. And leadership has a price. So I pulled people along when they didn’t want to be pulled. I challenged people when they didn’t want to be challenged. And I earned that right because [other] teammates came after me. They didn’t endure all the things that I endured. michael jordan of the chicago bulls enjoys a cigar

It is, as it turns out, exactly what we needed right now. The Last Dance, ESPN 30 for 30’s 10-part docuseries about the 1990s Chicago Bulls, is an illuminating look into Michael Jordan’s NBA career on the court, as well as off. Not only are sports-starved audiences getting to see the GOAT, his teammates, and Carmen Electra wax poetic about being the most dominant basketball team of the decade, but people are also getting a look at Jordan as a style icon of the era, before his questionable denim choices.

We showed a couple current NBA players who represent the next generation of Jordan’s eponymous brand—and Michael’s son Marcus—a few of MJ’s off-court looks from the doc to get their thoughts. Here’s what they had to say.

    michael jordan at a shootaround

In the first episode of The Last Danceformer NBA commissioner David Stern talks glowingly of Michael Jordan’s choice to wear a beret in Paris, and throughout the series we see that the headwear wasn’t just limited to being worn in France. Here, we see him pair it with an overcoat that he wears over his Chicago Bulls warmups as he walks into a shootaround.

Tim Hardaway, Jr., Dallas Mavericks: “That’s crazy, because that’s how players dress today. If we’re doing a shootaround in a place like New York, Chicago, or Boston, people don’t understand we have big-ass trench coats and a hat over our practice gear because it’s so cold.”

Marcus Jordan, Michael’s son and founder/CEO of Trophy Room: “I mean, look at that. It’s so swag. Brown is having a moment right now because Travis [Scott] loves brown, but if you look back in the archives, my dad was really setting some trends back then.”

Victor Oladipo, Indiana Pacers: “I’m not doing that one. That’s different for sure, but he’s swagged out for back then, though. Only MJ could get away with that.”

This look from 1992 has become part of the fabric (no pun intended) 0f the Jordan Brand through the years. The pattern was replicated on a couple Air Jordan retros and a similar short set will also be re-releasing this summer and has already made it to a few of the brand’s endorsers.

Hardaway, Jr.: “That’s my favorite out of all of them. I think Jordan Brand actually sent us a set like that. I’m trying to save that fit for if we ever come back and play, so I could walk through the tunnel with it. It’s fire.”

Jordan: “That was always him just lounging around the house. There was this thing called Zubaz pants back in the day, and he had so many different colors of them that as kids we would try to take them for ourselves. That’s strictly ’90s right there.”

Oladipo: “I need to figure out how to get that outfit. That whole look is hard. Someone actually sent me this picture and said, ‘Why does this look like something you would wear?’ It definitely is.”

Thanks to the documentary, we now know the history of the Michael Jordan “Turnt Up” meme. It was during a 1993 interview with Ahmad Rashad when Jordan broke his silence with the media about his gambling habits—and inadvertently set a trend of sunglasses being worn during NBA press conferences.

Hardaway, Jr: “I’ve had sunglasses on in a post-game interview before. It’s good because you get to look at interviewers that you really don’t want to talk crazy, and they don’t see your eyes.”

Jordan: “Obviously my dad and Ahmad Rashad are great friends today, and that’s only something he would do with someone that he was comfortable with. He was ahead of his time. Nowadays, you see people all the time wearing sunglasses in interviews.”

Oladipo: “Guys wear sunglasses now, so that ain’t bad at all. He looks young, confident, and fresh.”

  • Lakers News: Michael Jordan Calls Magic Johnson The Best Point Guard Ever

Lakers News: Michael Jordan Calls Magic Johnson The Best Point Guard Ever

Lakers Legend Magic Johnson Recalls Unwise Decision To Trash-talk Michael Jordan

While the main subject ESPN’s 10-part documentary series “The Last Dance” is the 1998 Chicago Bulls and, especially, Michael Jordan, the project dives deep into the background of the team and how it came to be.

This means a lot of talk about Jordan’s rivalries with the likes of Magic Johnson’s Los Angeles Lakers and Isiah Thomas’ Detroit Pistons. It took Jordan many years to overcome Thomas and the ‘Bad Boy’ Pistons and when he was finally able to do so, it was Magic’s Lakers awaiting him in the 1991 NBA Finals.

Meaning, Jordan had to face two of the best point guards ever in the same playoffs. As a matter of fact, they were the two best period as far as Jordan is concerned.

In the documentary Jordan spoke about Thomas and while he respects his game, does not put him above Johnson in his all-time point guard rankings:

“I respect Isiah Thomas’ talent. To me, the best point guard of all-time is Magic Johnson, and right behind him is Isiah Thomas.”

Thomas is undoubtedly talented and is one of the greats, but this is just more evidence of how truly amazing and groundbreaking Magic Johnson was. His game, at his size is just something that can’t be replicated, and his desire to win at all costs, even while having a smile on his face, was unlike anyone else. This is why he won five championships and made four other Finals with the Lakers.

For the most part, anyone who has ever seen Magic play considers him the greatest point guard, and one of the greatest players ever period. He is constantly on fans and players’ all-time lineups and many have him in their top five list for the greatest NBA player of all-time. But when the praise comes from the player who most consider the greatest ever, it just means a little bit more.

Jordan and Magic faced off many times, including an especially intense one during practices for the 1992 Dream Team so Jordan knows and respects what Magic can do. Of course Thomas and Jordan aren’t the best of friends and there is surely still some disdain on Jordan’s part for him, but even without those feelings, Jordan’s point guard ranking are right in line with most others.

A Michael Jordan jersey from his 1982-83 season with the North Carolina Tar Heels has sold for $1.38 million.

A game-worn jersey belonging to Michael Jordan from his sophomore season at the University of North Carolina was sold for a record $1.38 million on Saturday at Heritage Auctions.

It is the only known jersey photo-matched to Jordan’s 1982-83 season with the North Carolina Tar Heels when he was named Sporting News’ NCAA Player of the Year.

It broke the previous record for a Jordan jersey when a full, game-worn Chicago Bulls uniform from Jordan’s 1986-87 season was sold for $480,000 in October, also at Heritage Auctions.

“As the final price tag proves, this jersey has everything any serious collector could possibly want,” Chris Ivy of Heritage Auctions said.
