When it comes to her favorite wedding memory, Kylie Kelce can’t choose just one!

When asked about her nuptials to husband Jason Kelce, the mom of three, 31, revealed she has a few favorite moments from their special day.

The first being when she felt “terrified” before stepping out in front of everyone at the ceremony. But upon seeing her NFL star husband, 36, Kylie says her fear melted away.

“I know personally my favorite wedding memory is when I was getting ready to walk down the aisle,” she recalls to PEOPLE about their 2018 nuptials. “I was terrified not because I was about to get married but because everyone was going to be staring at me.”

Kylie says she “had worked up this sort of anticipation,” but seeing the football player waiting for her at the altar changed everything.

“As soon as our wedding planner opened the door and I could see Jason, it was as if all of the worries melted away,” she says. “So I was like, ‘Oh I just have to get to him. I can do that.’ “

“So that was like a memory where I really remember that overall feeling of ease and bliss,” she adds.

Kylie’s second favorite memory? Sitting at their sweetheart table — a small table designated exclusively for the newlyweds — at the reception.

She tells PEOPLE sitting at the table with Jason was a “really special time.”

“It’s really the only time where you get to sit down and sort of catch up with each other because you’re running in opposite directions most of the day,” she explains. “Which seems counterintuitive on your wedding day, but you do get sort of split up.”

“So we loved sitting down and having dinner just the two of us,” she adds.

Kylie and Jason tied the knot on April 14, 2018 at the Logan Hotel in Philadelphia — just two months after Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII.

The couple — who now shares three daughters, Bennett, 11 months, Elliotte, 2½, and Wyatt, 4 — met on Tinder over two years earlier.

They went Instagram-official with their relationship in November 2015, with Kylie joking, “Thank goodness you swiped right too.”

“It fuelled out love for sports,” Travis added.

“We were glued to the TV each and every day so the fact that I may potentially-probably-will be working there is pretty darn cool,” Jason continued.

    “That’s awesome, man” Travis added.

“That’s some cool stuff to see full circle because we used to live and die by ESPN on that TV growing up. I’m happy as hell for you.”

“I’m a talking head,” said Jason.

“Meeting and talking to everyone at ESPN it became apparent that it was really the right fit.

“It’s something I’m really looking forward to, this next phase.

“I know to some degree who I’m working with and think very, very highly of all of them.

“I’m excited to learn. I know a lot about football but not a lot about this world. So it’s just another avenue to continue to expand my knowledge and create relationships – that’s what this business is all about.

    “Really excited.”

The Athletic previously reported that Jason could line up a new deal with one of the major US television networks, with the deal potentially including Travis and the brothers’ podcast.

Per that report, NBC, CBS and ESPN were all interested in acquiring Jason’s talents for a major TV role.

Amazon Prime Video was also a contender to land Jason’s services, with one potential deal involving Travis and the podcast.

New Heights fans will be relieved to know that Jason joining ESPN won’t have any impact on the podcast.

The elder Kelce joining ESPN comes after the network added two other powerhouse names this offseason.

They have added Nick Saban to its college football coverage and Bill Belichick to its NFL coverage.

Both Saban and Belichick were lauded for their performances during the NFL Draft. The former Patriots head coach in particular went down a storm and will appear weekly on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ – which is licensed by ESPN – on Mondays during the NFL season.

Kelce is expected to be joined on ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Countdown’ by host Scott Van Pelt and analysts Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark.

Robert Griffin III is not expected back.

Kylie Kelce and Jason Were Inside Joking About This Possessed Travis Kelce Is Dying of Laughing?

If there is one thing to say about Jason and Kylie Kelce’s marriage, it’s that the two know how to have fun together — even when that fun is (hilariously) at Jason’s expense.

On the most recent episode of Jason and brother Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, one of the topics they discussed was the notion of NFL players’ butts playing “a major role” in the success of the athlete. After exploring several reasons behind this idea — including the philosophy of the defensive line having a “big a** that just helps you anchor” — the retired Philadelphia Eagles center asked Travis: “What a** do you think of when you think of an NFL player?”

“Jason Kelce,” Travis replied immediately — which Jason quickly countered.

“I don’t have an a**, Travis, you know that,” he responded, while the Kansas City Chiefs tight end encouraged him to “ask Kylie,” saying “she knows” the answer.

Jason not only disagreed — “Kylie says I’ve got a chicken ass; that’s exactly what she says,” he told his brother — he offered to call his wife unprompted. “I swear to God [that’s what Kylie says],” Jason insisted as Travis threw his head back, laughing.

Getting Kylie on the phone, Jason indeed asked her the question.

“Ky! What do you say my a** resembles?” he questioned. Without hesitation, Kylie answered: “A chicken a**.”

“What is that?” Travis laughed. “Do chickens have glutes?”

“I think that’s the point: She’s saying basically that there’s nothing back there. It’s flat,” Jason explained.

Travis, however, was adamant that his brother was packing in the back.

“She’s not looking at the same a** [as I am],” Travis insisted.

While Kylie is not in the spotlight as much as her husband, both have praised the other publicly. When Jason emotionally announced his retirement from the NFL earlier this year, he thanked his wife — with whom he has three young daughters — in his candid remarks.

“I think it’s no coincidence I have enjoyed [the] best years of my career with Kylie by my side,” Jason shared. “Every accolade I have ever received has come with her in my life. She has brought the best out of me with love, devotion, support, honesty, intelligence, and, of course, a swift kick in the a** from time to time.”

The couple are also extremely close with Travis, whom they refer to as “Uncle Trav” because of their daughters.

In April, Kylie made a rare comment about Travis’ high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift.

“Ultimately, if Trav’s happy, we’re happy. We are always cheering on Uncle Trav,” Kylie said on the Today show. “It’s such a treat to be able to do that on and off the field. It’s been amazing.”

  • Michael Jordan Era Was “Watered Down” – Do Fans Agree With JJ Redick and NBA Veteran’s Claim?

Michael Jordan Era Was “Watered Down” – Do Fans Agree With JJ Redick and NBA Veteran’s Claim?

The 90s vs the modern-day NBA scenario will be a never-ending debate. And JJ Redick’s recent claims of the NBA being watered down during Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan‘s prime have reignited the sparks of this debate. While a certain section of the basketball community has strongly disagreed with Redicks’ claims, some find some sense in this. And ex-NBA star Chandler Parsons is among the latter.

“I understand what he’s (JJ Redick) saying… You could talk about how physical it was, how the game was different, how tough those guys were, how the style of play was different. At the end of the day, the talent is way better now. Everybody is better. Everybody is stronger, everybody is faster,” Parsons said, appearing on ‘Run It Back’.

Notably, Redick stated on The Big Podcast that there 6 teams added when Michael Jordan was at his peak. “There were 90 players added to the NBA. Does that not water down?… You’re not telling me that the league for a little bit is gonna be watered down?” he said on the podcast. And Parsons has also agreed that with the addition of these teams, the overall talent of the league was not what it is now.

However, the ex-NBA star believes what the players before them did has to be respected. But better resources and facilities at present make the comparison unfair in favor of modern-day players, he claims. However, the reply section of the post by ‘Run It Back’ seems to be in strong disagreement with both Redick and Parsons. In fact, there is hardly any support to be found for Redick’s claim and Parson’s backing of the claims.

How have fans reacted to Reick’s claim against Michael Jordan?

There is no denying that Michael Jordan’s legacy has sort of been impeccable. With his 6 NBA championships, 6-0 NBA finals record, 6 NBA Finals MVP awards, and 5 regular season MVP awards, there are only a few players who even come close. And as far as Redick’s 6-team addition remark goes, 4 of these 6 teams were added during 1988-89. And this was the time Michael Jordan was busy overcoming the physically dominant team of Detroit Pistons who won the championship during this phase. So Redick’s claims do not hold any value in terms of Jordan’s championship wins. This is also reflected in the way fans have reacted to this.

One of the X users, Hawk Mark, has pointed out how the defense was stronger back in the 90s as compared to the present-day scenario. He believes the modern-day NBA stars hardly have to play against any defense.

Meanwhile, another X user countered Chandler Parsons’ claim of modern-day players being bigger, stronger, and faster. And to further his argument in the support of the 90s, he used Michael Jordan himself and Clyde Drexler.

Countering Redick and Parson’s claims completely is X user, Matthew McCarthy. He believes it is, in fact, the modern-day basketball scenario that has been watered down.

The only visible backing in the reply section for Redick and Parsons was from an X user who believes in the supremacy of the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors.

Meanwhile, another X user seemed to have a mixed opinion of this. He believes players are now more skilled, but the game IQ is at an all-time low.

Barkley speaks on Jordan-Pippen relationship drama

When Shannon asked Barkley if he would feel some type of way if he was in Jordan or Pippen’s shoes, he quickly showed his true feelings. “Hell yeah!” said the Round Mound of Rebound.

The NBA great, who was friends with Michael, said he felt bad for MJ because of the effect that Larsa and Marcus dating had on his friendship with former Chicago Bulls running mate Scottie Pippen.

“If you win six (championships) together, y’all should be damn near blood brothers, so that’s the thing I feel most bad.”

Are Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan still together?

Instead, the Hall of Famers got stuck in reality TV show drama. Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen divorced Scottie in 2021, and then she dated Marcus, a.k.a. “Heir Jordan,” on and off from 2022 to 2024.

The couple appeared on the Peacock TV show The Traitors together, and even launched a relationship podcast together called Separation Anxiety in 2023. The title turned out to be prescient, as they proceeded to split around Valentine’s Day in 2024. However, the back-and-forth history of their relationship always leaves the door open for a rekindling

The relationship clearly weighed on Air Jordan, who told a TMZ photographer in 2023 that he did not approve of Marcus and Larsa’s relationship. Although he tried to stay out of it, there was no escaping the resulting awkwardness with Scottie, with whom he already had tension dating back to their playing days.

“There are no winners. There’s only losers,” Barkley told Sharpe, with a twinge of sadness. “Michael and Scottie’s relationship will never be the same.”

  • Michael Jordan Can ‘No Longer Stay Silent’

Michael Jordan Can ‘No Longer Stay Silent’

    Michael Jordan

For most of his time as a public figure, Michael Jordan has taken heat for not being outspoken enough on politics and social justice issues.

The oft-disputed quote “Republicans buy sneakers, too” has long been attributed to him, after he failed to throw his weight behind the 1990 U.S. Senate candidate Harvey Gantt, an African-American lawmaker challenging the infamously racially insensitive Sen. Jesse Helms.

But on Monday, Jordan wrote a personal essay for the African-American themed sports blog The Undefeated — breaking with his decades-long tradition of largely being agnostic when it comes controversy.

In a post entitled “I Can No Longer Stay Silent,” Jordan referenced the 1993 gun-violence related death of his own father to underline how the shootings of unarmed black men is a deeply personal issue for him. “I grieve with the families who have lost loved ones, as I know their pain all too well,” he wrote.

“I was raised by parents who taught me to love and respect people regardless of their race or background, so I am saddened and frustrated by the divisive rhetoric and racial tensions that seem to be getting worse as of late. I know this country is better than that, and I can no longer stay silent,” Jordan added. “We need to find solutions that ensure people of color receive fair and equal treatment AND that police officers — who put their lives on the line every day to protect us all — are respected and supported.”

Jordan, who remains one of highest-earning athletes despite having retired from the game of basketball 13 years ago, has pledged to contribute $1 million to the Internal Association of Chiefs of Police’s Institute for Community-Police Relations and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

“We are privileged to live in the world’s greatest country — a country that has provided my family and me the greatest of opportunities,” wrote Jordan. “The problems we face didn’t happen overnight and they won’t be solved tomorrow, but if we all work together, we can foster greater understanding, positive change and create a more peaceful world for ourselves, our children, our families and our communities.”

LDF president Sherrilyn Ifill said they will use the donation from the legendary Chicago Bulls star to “deepen our engagement on the issue of policing reform at this critical time in our country.”

“It is an act of true leadership that Mr. Jordan has chosen to use his stature to highlight the importance of this issue to all Americans and by taking a personal stance in support of organizations directly engaged in addressing this crisis in our nation,” Ifill said in statement.

Jordan, in his statement, said his donation to the IACP will help fund the police group’s “newly established Institute for Community-Police Relations, which launched in May to execute recommendations made in the report of the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing.”

The task force chaired by Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey and Laurie Robinson, a professor of criminology at George Mason University, was convened in the wake of the police killings of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri and Eric Garner on Staten Island, New York.

“I can’t overstate how pleased we are to be getting a donation from Mr. Jordan,” said IACP executive director Vincent Talucci.

Among other thing, Talucci said, they will use the money to fund training programs and help police departments build bridges to minority communities.

While Jordan’s position on gun violence is hardly a radical one, his uncharacteristically candid commentary is an unexpected declaration for the NBA icon who fellow Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once accused of choosing “commerce over conscience.”

In recent years, Jordan was also dinged for helping turn his beloved sneaker brand into a literally dangerous commodity in communities of color and for not being more active on behalf of Barack Obama during his campaigns for the White House (although he did appear at a 2012 fundraiser for him).

Meanwhile, Jordan’s remarks come after a flurry of activist statements from current professional basketball players. NBA superstars LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade all made public pleas to stop the violence at the opening of this years’ ESPY awards.

And the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, New York Liberty and the Indiana Fever went even further, donning shirts with hashtags honoring Black Lives Matter and the white police officers murdered recently in Dallas. There actions resulted in small fines for the players, and they responded by refusing to take any sports-related questions in a follow-up game. The league eventually rescinded their punishments.

Related: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on Meet The Press: ‘Islam is a Religion of Peace’

This is also not the first time recently that Jordan, the owner of the NBA franchise the Charlotte Hornets, has been dragged into a public dispute which speaks to cultural issues. Last week, Jordan begrudgingly agreed with the NBA’s decision to pull next year’s All-Star game out of Charlotte in protest of the state of North Carolina’s controversial “bathroom bill,” which many believe permits discrimination against the LGBT community.

And in 2014, Jordan weighed in on the controversy swirling around then-Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, who was caught on tape making racially prejudiced statements about his own players.

“I look at this from two perspectives — as a current owner and as a former player,”Jordan said in a statement at the time. “As an owner, I’m obviously disgusted that a fellow team owner could hold such sickening and offensive views.”

Perhaps, just as Jordan predicted at his polarizing Hall of Fame induction ceremony speech that his journey with the game of basketball was far from over, it appears that his evolution as a public figure with considerable influence has continued, too.

“We have encountered racism to be somewhat acceptable in certain circles,” he told the newspaper. “We’ve got to understand at an early age (that can’t be tolerated). Education is such an important part of societal change.”

He added: “We have been beaten down (as African Americans) for so many years. It sucks your soul. You can’t accept it anymore. This is a tipping point. We need to make a stand. We’ve got to be better as a society regarding race.”

Jordan was also asked what has to happen for people to change their racist behaviors.

“Face up to your demons. Extend a hand. Understand the inequalities. Sure, it’s about bargaining for better policing, but it’s more. We have encountered racism to be somewhat acceptable in certain circles,” he told the Charlotte Observer.

In the days after the death of George Floyd, Jordan supported the call for an end to systematic racism.

“I am deeply saddened, truly pained and plain angry,” he said. “I see and feel everyone’s pain, outrage and frustration. I stand with those who are calling out the ingrained racism and violence toward people of color in our country. We have had enough.”

Mіchael Jordаn is wіdely regаrded аs the greаtest of аll tіme, аnd NBA wrіter Ben Stinar pointed out thаt he рlayed іn every ѕingle gаme durіng the Chіcago Bullѕ’ ѕecond three-рeat. Whіle ѕome of todаy’s ѕtarѕ hаve сritiсized the new 65-gаme threѕhold for аwаrds, аs they belіeve іt іs а bіt muсh, Jordаn ѕhowed the gаme аnd the fаns а lot of reѕpect by enѕuring thаt he ѕuited uр every ѕingle nіght.

Stіnar аlso lіsted whаt exаctly Jordаn dіd іn thoѕe yeаrs, аnd іt lookѕ very ѕpecial when сompared to todаy’s рlayers.

    – 304 ѕtraight gаmes

    – 3 ѕtraight NBA Chаmpionships

    – 32-34 yeаrs old

From 1995-96 to 1997-98, Jordаn аverаged 29.6 рoints, 6.1 reboundѕ, 4.0 аssists, 1.9 ѕtealѕ, аnd 0.5 bloсks рer gаme іn the regulаr ѕeaѕon. He won two MVPѕ аnd three ѕcoring tіtles іn thаt ѕpan. They were the lаst three of the 10 сonseсutive ѕcoring tіtles thаt Jordаn hаd won when he рlayed а full ѕeaѕon.

Unsurprisingly, Jordаn bettered thoѕe аverаges іn the рlayoffs, рutting uр 31.4 рoints, 6.0 reboundѕ, 4.1 аssists, 1.6 ѕtealѕ, аnd 0.6 bloсks рer gаme іn hіs three tіtle runѕ. In аll, Jordаn would end uр hаving nіne ѕeaѕonѕ іn the NBA where he dіdn’t mіss а gаme, whіch іs remarkable. When you look аt whаt Jordаn аccomplished іn thoѕe three ѕeaѕonѕ, іn рarticular, Stіnar ѕayѕ іt mаkes no ѕenѕe to сelebrate todаy’s рlayers for рlaying 65 gаmes.

It’ѕ fаir to ѕay thаt we ѕhouldn’t be gіvіng рlayers а рat on the bаck for mаnаging to рlay thаt mаny gаmes. The fаct thаt іt hаs сome to thаt іs reаlly аn іndіctment on todаy’s ѕtarѕ. “Thаt’ѕ the раrt thаt even when I tаlk to сoасhes, they don’t ѕаy thаt he hаѕ thаt іmрact. LeBron hаѕ the ѕаme effeсt on the offenѕіve end thаt Mісhael hаѕ beсаuse іt’ѕ раssing, аnd reboundіng. But on the defenѕіve end, thаt’ѕ the саveаt thаt ѕeрarateѕ іt,”  ‘The Jet’ аdded.

Jordаn wаѕ nаmed to the All-Defenѕіve Fіrѕt Teаm durіng hіѕ lаѕt nіne full ѕeаѕonѕ wіth the Bullѕ. He wаѕ аlѕo the 1988 Defenѕіve Plаyer of the Yeаr wіnner аnd led the leаgue іn ѕteаlѕ іn three ѕeаѕonѕ. MJ аlѕo аverаged more thаn one bloсk рer gаme іn four out of hіѕ fіrѕt ѕeven NBA ѕeаѕonѕ, ѕo he wаѕ defіnіtely no fluke on defenѕe. Bаѕed on ассolаdes, Mісhael ѕіmply lookѕ better.

Rаѕheed ѕаyѕ MJ wаѕn’t reаlly thаt good of а defender

However, 2004 NBA champion Rasheed Wallace doesn’t thіnk Mіke’ѕ аwаrdѕ аre а fаіr іndісator of how good he wаѕ on thаt end of the floor. Aссordіng to Sheed, Jordаn wаѕn’t reаlly thаt good of а defender, but he got the ассolаdes beсаuse the NBA wаѕ рuѕhing for hіm to beсome а globаl ісon.

“Mіke wаѕn’t аll thаt good of а defender,”  said Sheed.  “All thаt’ѕ NBA ѕh**. We lіke Mіke; we gonnа рut hіm uр there. Dаdаdаdаdа. I’m tаlkіng аbout beіng out there. I ѕeen thіѕ MFer get hіѕ а** buѕt where he сouldn’t ѕtoр а MFer. Agаіnst JR Rіder, рrobаbly аgаіnst Clyde Drexler. Sh** don’t forget the eаrly Joe Dumаrѕ. And I’m not ѕаying thаt he dіdn’t рlаy defenѕe; I’m juѕt ѕаying thаt hіѕ defenѕe wаѕn’t аѕ hіgh аѕ moѕt other саts аt thаt tіme. I сouldn’t рut hіm on Lіke 10 or 11 сonѕeсutive fіrѕt-team All-Defenѕіve joіntѕ.”

To hіѕ сredіt, рrіme LeBron wаѕ no fluke on defenѕe. LBJ wаѕ on fіve ѕtrаight All-Defenѕіve Fіrѕt Teаmѕ from 2009-2013 аnd wаѕ on the defenѕіve ѕeсond teаm іn 2014. Whіle he never won the DPOY troрhy, he fіnіѕhed ѕeсond twісe—іn 2009 аnd 2013—аnd wаѕ fourth durіng the 2011-12 саmpаign. Sure, Jordаn beаtѕ Jаmeѕ іn numberѕ, but thаt doeѕn’t meаn Mісhael wаѕ neсeѕѕarily the better defender. Don’t tell thаt to Kenny аnd the MJ fаnаtіcs.
