Jason Kelce doesn’t want you to know he met his wife Kylie Kelce on a dating app. Too bad she wasn’t afraid to reveal how their relationship began in the Prime Video Kelce documentary.
“Jason won’t let me lie about this,” Kylie shared. “We met on Tinder.”
When Kylie first encountered Jason’s profile, she didn’t recognize the Philadelphia Eagles center, explaining, “None of his pictures showed Eagles football.”
However, after she and her friends thought he looked “kind of familiar,” they did what millennial women do best: A Google image search. And when Kylie put a name to the face, she was confident she was being played.
“It can’t be him,” she remembered thinking, “it’s a catfish.”
Still, she took a chance. And in 2015, she shared the first photo of the couple on Instagram, writing, “Thank goodness you swiped right too.”

While Jason and Kylie ultimately hit it off, their first date didn’t go according to the game plan.
“You fell asleep 45 minutes after I got there on the bar table because he was too drunk,” Kylie revealed on Jason’s New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Travis Kelce.
Though he was admittedly “inebriated,” Jason said, “I was sober enough to know it was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. It was love at first sight.”
Still, Kylie admitted it took her awhile to fully commit to the idea of being in a relationship with a professional athlete.
“I didn’t tell anyone who I was dating,” she explained. “The last thing I wanted was to be like, ‘I think I’m falling for this guy and then have him be like, ‘Oh, I have six other girls waiting,’ which is the stereotype of a football player.”
However, in hindsight, Kylie admitted. “It’s entertaining that there was any hesitation at all.”
“Our dynamic made it so not that I was in a relationship with a professional athlete,” she continued, “it was very much that I was in a relationship wth Jason whose profession was football.”

During the Sept. 7 episode of the New Heights podcast, the couple shared their engagement story, which Jason prefaced by admitting he is not a “romantic” person.
The NFL star proposed to Kylie in his car while they were leaving her parents’ house.
“I couldn’t figure out how to inconspicuously go back into the house,” he explained, “because if I was like, ‘Hey I gotta go talk to you dad for a second,’ it would have been very odd of me to say that.”
Instead, Jason went with, um, option No. 2: “When we got in the car, I said, ‘Ky, I’m sorry but I gotta take a s–t.’”
However, Kylie immediately knew Jason was up to something when he returned minutes later. “He came back out and I said, ‘Jason, I know you didn’t just go in there and take a s—t, it usually takes you 20 minutes.’”
Jason then cut the bulls–t and got down to business.
“He said, ‘This isn’t the most romantic way to do this,’” Kylie recalled, “and I immediately started crying because I knew what was happening only because he referenced being romantic.”

Daily Mail later reveals that Swift met Kelce’s friends and family at his home before going to the game. The outlet wrote that she spent an hour with them before boarding a party bus with them to the stadium.
A source told Daily Mail, “Travis wasn’t at his house, but it was filled with his friends and family. He has a personal chef and several friends from high school and college who use his place as a crash pad whenever they are in town.”

Initial reports claim that Swift and Kelce paid to rent out Prime Social Rooftop. In reality, they had a reservation.
An eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight, “Travis bought out the restaurant for his family and team. Taylor arrived, wearing a denim dress, and was seen snacking, having some cocktails and dancing alongside Travis. The two were very affectionate with one another but kept things fun and lighthearted. Travis’ teammates also showed up to the after-party, as well as his mom, Donna Kelce. The party lasted until 2 A.M.”
TMZ was also told that Swift and Kelce were affectionate at the game’s after-party. “Sources say they were holding hands at the restaurant he rented out for his family, friends, and teammates after the game. At one point Taylor was sitting on Travis’ lap,” TMZ wrote.

Swift is seen arriving at the airport in Kansas City around 10:30 A.M. to fly back home. Daily Mail reported that security vehicles were seen parked on Kelce’s street on Sunday and Monday nights in a clear sign that the two stars spent some private time together post-game.
Multiple sources speak to Us Weekly that day about Swift and Kelce’s relationship. Once again, they say it’s not serious.
One UsWeekly source said that Swift met Kelce through a mutual friend: “They have been on a few dates, and Taylor is smitten with him. It is not serious, and Taylor is having fun right now.”
“[She’s] working hard right now and not looking for anything serious,” the source continued, citing her tour schedule and his NFL schedule as reasons why a more committed romance would be more difficult. “But anything is possible. They’re getting closer and closer every day.”

Kelce speaks on his podcast New Heights for the first and maybe last time about his relationship with Swift.
“I know I brought all this attention to me, right?” Kelce started. “I did the whole friendship bracelet thing and told everyone how butt-hurt I was that I didn’t get to meet Taylor.”
At the same time, he has no any regrets. “You miss 100 percent of [the shots] you don’t take, baby, so yeah,” he said, then adding, “What’s real is it is my personal life, and I want to respect both of our lives. A second source added, “The Jets haven’t been notified specifically about Taylor coming to Sunday’s game, but are prepared to welcome her if she decides to come. Patrick Mahomes booked a suite for his family and friends and Taylor could be joining that suite.”
In a separate report, a different source told Entertainment Tonight that Swift wasn’t initially expecting much from her and Kelce’s time together, but things are changing. “When Taylor and Travis first connected, Taylor was looking to have fun while enjoying some downtime,” the source said. “So far, it’s been a nice change of pace for her. The Daily Mail reports that the couple has allegedly discussed doing a Halloween costume together and potentially attending Heidi Klum’s famous Halloween party, a celeb-packed event. The “insider” said they joked about dressing as Barbie and Ken.

The 31-year-old is originally from Philadelphia, the city where her husband plays professional football for the Philadelphia Eagles.
After the couple welcomed their first child together, Jason Kelce told reporters that his wife was doing “great,” thanks in part to her family in the area.
“She’s from the area. Both of her parents are here, my parents came in, and she has a lot of friends, family members. She’s not alone by any stretch of the imagination,” he said.
Kylie Kelce attended Cabrini University and graduated in 2017 with a degree in communications. There, she played field hockey.
She captioned a post from her college athlete days by saying, “One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to become a part of the Cabrini Field Hockey family. The experience gave me memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.”

Kylie Kelce made her debut on Jason and brother Travis Kelce’s joint podcast “New Heights” in September 2023 and shared their relationship origins.
The couple met on Tinder. Kylie Kelce said she didn’t know who Kelce was, since none of his pictures had photos from the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Well, his profile at the time was something to the effect of: ‘I want to have deep meaningful conversations and talk about getting married and having kids’ or something like that,” she said.
They swiped right and made plans to meet up at a bar. Their first date admittedly didn’t go according to plan, Kylie Kelce said, after Jason Kelce got a bit too tipsy.
“You fell asleep 45 minutes after I got there on the bar table because he was too drunk,” she said.
“Not a good first date,” Jason Kelce replied. Still, he knew what was in front of him: “(I) got a little bit too inebriated, but I was sober enough to know it was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. It was love at first sight,” he said.
Jason Kelce shared more of the meet-cute from his perspective during his retirement speech.
“I still remember the moment she walked through the door. The first instance is burned in my retina,” he continued. “It was like she glided through the opening, an aura around her.”
“Then she started talking and I thought, ‘Man, is this what love feels like?’” he recalled. “She was beautiful and smart, serious yet playful. I knew it right away.

The first date between the future couple was memorable, but not only because of a romantic connection.
An inebriated Kelce had to be carried home from a bar by Beau Allen, one of his Philadelphia Eagles teammates at the time.
Kelce recalled that night with Allen, 32, on the Feb. 21, 2024 episode of the “New Heights” podcast that also included Chris Long, 38, another one of their Eagles teammates.
Kelce had been excited to make a good first impression on his future wife after the two met on Tinder and talked for a few weeks before finally deciding to get together.
However, the night started with Kelce and his Eagles teammates drinking at the team’s holiday party. It spiraled from there after Jason linked up with Kylie at a bar called Buffalo Billiards in Philadelphia.
“Kelce is like, ‘We’re going to meet up with this girl,’ and I like heard all about her, excited to meet her, and the night just went a little bit sideways,” Allen said. “Kelce fell asleep on the bar, like snoozing.”
“It’s actually not that uncommon,” Kelce said.
“I have kind of a disturbing amount of photos of you just asleep in various places,” Allen said.
Jason was in such rough shape that his teammates had to take him home from the bar on the first night he met Kylie.
Allen, a 6-foot-3, 330-pound nose tackle who retired from the NFL in 2022, picked up the 6-foot-3, 295-pound Kelce and carried him down the cobblestone street outside the bar.
“Kelce, I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: That was physically one of the hardest things I’ve ever done,” Allen said. “That was harder than climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. It was like anaerobic plus aerobic.”
Allen said he did his best to lug Kelce home.
“It’s like cobblestone streets Kelce, and you’re fighting me,” Allen said. “And I’m like straining. I dropped you.”
“I know I was sleeping, but I remember it,” Kelce said. “I remember fighting you and laughing my ass off.”
Kelce asked Allen if he was surprised Kylie granted him a second date after the drunken debacle of the first one.
“I was slightly surprised,” Allen said. “You’re a great guy. You’re charming. Look at that laugh, how can you not want to go on a second date with you?”
Married in 2018, the couple shared their engagement story
In June 2018, Jason and Kylie Kelce got married at the Logan Hotel in Philadelphia, according to Philadelphia Magazine.
While talking about their love story on Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, the couple revealed how they got engaged.
“Let’s be abundantly clear. When he asked me to marry him, he got back in the truck and said, ‘This isn’t the most romantic way to do this,’ and I immediately started crying because I knew what was happening only because he referenced being romantic,” Kylie Kelce recalled with a smile on her face.

When the Kelce brothers went head-to-head in the 2022 Super Bowl, Kylie Kelce arrived with a special guest: Her OBGYN.
“Kylie’s bringing her OB because she’s going to be 38 weeks pregnant at the game,” Jason Kelce said on the Feb. 1 episode of the “New Heights” podcast. “That could be a super Kelce bowl. If she has a baby in the stadium, it’s officially scripted.”
Bennett, the couple’s third child, was born Feb. 23, days after the Feb. 12 match.

The retired Eagles center shared how the shirt was a staple during his 13 season career
The former Philadelphia Eagles center shared in the latest episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Travis Kelce exactly why he chose a low-key look during Monday’s press conference.
During the episode, the 36-year-old explained how he decided to wear the cut-up muscle tank with the Eagles logo.
“I guess I start out the day. That’s the first choice you got to make. You’re like, ‘What am I going to wear to this thing?’ Like a suit and ties is what most people wearing. But that wouldn’t feel right. Like I don’t think you know, for me —”
“It’s not a wedding,” Travis, 34, quickly interjected. “That’s the only time I’ve ever seen you wear a suit and tie.”
“I’ll wear a suit and tie when I have to that’s about it,” confessed Jason.
The retired NFL player explained that he considered all of the possible t-shirt options he could wear, including a Cleveland Heights or Eagles shirt. But after opening one of his drawers, he found the winning shirt.
He explained how he wore, practiced and lifted weights in that shirt every year. “And I’m like, ‘You know what this shirt, in some ways, was a part of this journey with me. More than anything else in this closet. So I’ll wear this.’”

Along with paying homage to his 13-season career with his shirt, he also had his trainer, Joe O’Pella, wrap his ankles one last time.
“My trainer, one of the trainers at the Eagles has been battling cancer all season long and he’s been there my entire career too,” explained Jason, adding that Pella is currently in “remission” and doesn’t “have any signs” of cancer.
“But he wasn’t able to tape me for any of the games this year and he taped my ankles my whole career. So he taped my ankles for the press conference one last time,” revealed Jason.
“So I had ankle tape on with sandals. So yeah, that was what went into, I guess the attire,” concluded the NFL star.

The retired Eagles player, who has already put out two hit holiday albums with his teammates, recently talked with players Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson about possible features for their next musical Christmas project—and the conversation took an unexpected turn.
