The Lamborghini Urus has quickly become the preferred choice of SUV for celebrities and sports stars who like to make a bold statement. LaMelo Ball has become a member of the same society that includes Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber.

Ball, who is under a $35 million, four-year agreement with the Charlotte Hornets, recently submitted his Urus vehicle to Champion Motoring in Los Angeles for significant enhancements. Undoubtedly, the Urus undeniably makes a bold statement, however its design may not be appreciated by everyone.

The suρer SUV’s exterior is embellished with a bodykit provided by 1016 Industries. The kit has a prominent hood and flared tire arches at the front end. The side alterations continue with the addition of fresh skirts and wider rear tire arches to go with the front. Located in the back are a rooftop spoiler, a trunklid spoiler, a redesigned bumper, and a prominent diffuser.

Champion Motoring proceeded to envelop the car in a vibrant bright yellow color, adorned the back with a red Lamborghini insignia, and enhanced the black rims with fluorescent yellow accents.

The mechanical modifications made to Ball’s Urus are uncertain. However, even in the absence of such upgrades, the SUV’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine can still generate an impressive 641 horsepower and 627 pound-feet (850 Newton-meters) of torque, which we consider to be more than enough for any circumstance.

Steph and Ayesha Curry are celebrating a major moment for their little girl.

On Monday, the Golden State Warriors star, 34, posted on Instagram in celebration of his daughter Ryan’s 7th birthday. He shared a photo where Ryan holds up a peace sign, smiling sweetly over her dad’s shoulder while the two sit in a golf cart.

“Special happy birthday and Lucky #7 for my Ryan!!!” he captioned the shot. “Love everything about this special girl 😍🦋 shine bright my baby.”

Ayesha also celebrated Ryan with a series of photos shared on her own Instagram page. The cute photos show Ryan posing in a dress with a beret and her hair down. In other shots, she poses sweetly as she enjoys a tea party.

“Our baby girl is 7! She is compassionate, head strong, caring, smart, beyond loving and certainly beats to her own drum!” the mom of three wrote. “We love our little butterfly. @stephencurry30 and I are so proud. 🥰🦋🧚🏼”

Steph and Ayesha also share 11-year-old daughter Riley and son Canon W. Jack, who turned 4 last week.

It’s been a big year for the family of five, who recently celebrated Steph winning his fourth championship game with the Golden State Warriors in a win over the Boston Celtics. Steph helped the team to earn their fourth championship in eight seasons.

In May, he also received his college diploma 13 years after first entering the NBA. He celebrated the achievement with a series of photos on social media, calling the degree a “dream come true.”

“Class of 2010….aka 2022 but we got it done!” Steph shared in his caption. “Thanks to my whole village that helped me get across the finish line. Made the promise when I left and had to see it through.”

Steph and Ayesha met each other in high school in North Carolina and married on July 30, 2011, celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary last year.

In an interview with Access Hollywood‘s Zuri Hall in February, the couple opened up about how they keep things exciting and fresh after being together for so long. At the time, Ayesha said making time for dating was key.

“For us, it’s just not forgetting to date each other, make the time to get dressed up and go out and do all the things. That’s what keeps it spicy,” Ayesha explained.

And Steph’s awe of his spouse helps, too.

Said the athlete, “I’m just hanging out and admiring you, and seeing how beautiful she looks. If you keep it spicy like that then I think that’s how we got 10 years and hopefully 10 years more.”

The Lakers are getting closer and closer to have some backcourt help as Gabe Vincent is nearing his return to the court and is expected to play this season.

After so much time of no news and updates, the reports coming out on Gabe Vincent in recent weeks have been repetitive, even if also positive. The newest report on Tuesday was much of the same, but also had a bit more relevancy to it.

Allow me to explain.

First, the good news. According to longtime NBA reporter Marc Stein, Gabe Vincent remains on track to return this season, with said return getting closer and closer.

Why was this relevant on Tuesday? Well, early in the day, a report from Bill Reiter of CBS Sports stated that all three of Christian Wood, Vincent and Jarred Vanderbilt were done for the season. It’s a report that certainly did not track with the latest updates received on the latter two.

This is where it’s important for fans to have a healthy amount of skepticism. The updates on Vincent and Vando have been, at worst, the two were still status quo in terms of their recovery.

If it feels like an update is a drastic change in the other direction in a quick time and it comes from someone who, with all due respect, does not regularly report Lakers news or break stories of any nature regarding the team, then there’s fair reason to be skeptical about it and not simply take it as fact.

As things stand, it feels unlikely Vincent is back on Friday against the Sixers, but his return feels very close. There’s another home game on Sunday before a lengthy road trip and, at worst, the road trip could be the target for his return. Vanderbilt feels further away, but nothing has indicated he’s going to be out for the season.

With Wood, there seems to be a decent chance he doesn’t return in the regular season, but if the team makes a run in the postseason, it certainly seems plausible he’ll be back this year.

So, breathe easy Lakers fans. Injuries haven’t certainly been an issue for the Lakers this season, but it’s all been good news of late.

A Lakers legend believes LA can topple a top-seeded team in the Western Conference Playoffs.

The Los Angeles Lakers got a huge win against the Atlanta Hawks last night, moving their chance to avoid the play-in tournament by a small margin. As it stands, the team might have to claw their way to make a deep postseason run.

Despite the up-and-down-season the Lakers have, a former LA legend believes that the team can take down a much higher-seeded team.

Former Laker legend Shaquille O’Neal often has hot takes, and he has stated that LA or the Warriors are likely the ones that can take down the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Lakers are currently 2-1 against OKC this season, so they could technically have a good blueprint on how to take down the current Western Conference first-place giants.

The Lakers would need everyone firing on all cylinders to beat the Thunder. Anthony Davis left Saturday’s game against the Warriors after being accidentally hit in the eye. The result was LA dropping the game 128-121.

The team rebounded plenty last night against the Hawks, which saw the win secured on great performances by D’Angelo Russell, Davis, and James. All three will need to band together if they are to challenge the Thunder and other teams awaiting them in the Western Conference Playoffs.

Shaq believes in how dangerous the Lakers can be, and so do we. However, the team dropping games they should be winning does not inspire much confidence. It will just be up to the team to get hot when it counts.

The Los Angeles Lakers are expected to be active in the offseason, looking to fill the holes on their roster. With a 37-32 record and sitting in 9th place in the Western Conference, the Lakers have plenty they need to do. Of the top priorities, adding a third star around LeBron James and Anthony Davis should be at the top of their list. With players on the market who fit that need, DeMar DeRozan could be the best fit.

Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report gave his optimistic player the Lakers could land, naming DeRozan as that player.

“If DeRozan is satisfied with all the money he’s earned to this point in his illustrious career, the opportunity to play for his hometown team for the modest taxpayer’s mid-level exception could be intriguing.

“And while he may not make a ton of sense for a starting five that already includes ball-dominance from LeBron James and a lack of shooting from Anthony Davis, he could be a dominant sixth man.”

DeRozan, despite being 34 years old, has been as good as ever for the Chicago Bulls. He’s averaging 23.2 points on 47.5% shooting, marking his third straight year averaging at least 23.2 points in Chicago.

Lakers Offseason Plans

The Los Angeles Lakers decided to stay put during the trade deadline. It was a surprising decision given the age of James, but one that allows them to land a player of DeRozan’s caliber in the offseason.

Sam Amick, Anthony Slater, and Jovan Buha of The Athletic on February 14 wrote about the Lakers offseason plans, hinting at them looking to add a third star in the summer.

“The Lakers plan to continue their quest for a third star this summer, armed with as many as three first-round picks, four pick swaps and multiple second-round picks to make a compelling offer for any available star. According to team sources, the organization has discussed three names internally: Trae Young, Donovan Mitchell and Irving.”

DeRozan will be a free agent, so they’d be able to land him without trading picks.

Does DeRozan Help the Lakers?

Adding another aging star next to James does have its downsides, but DeRozan’s a different scenario.

The six-time All-Star has aged well, similar to how James hasn’t slowed down. While DeRozan isn’t the same player James is, his game hasn’t regressed at this stage of his career.

In fact, there’s an argument to be made that he’s playing some of the best basketball of his career. DeRozan’s 27.9 points per game two seasons ago was the highest mark of his career, and the 24.5 points he averaged last season was the third-highest mark.

Adding another dynamic scorer next to James and Davis gives this Lakers team a dynamic they haven’t had during their time in Los Angeles. Factor in that DeRozan would take the load off James and Davis and landing him or a player of his caliber makes even more sense.

DeRozan is from California and with it being in the later stages of his career, could be interested in playing for his hometown team.

Following the altercation on the court during the Bucks-Pacers game, more chaos ensued. The TV cameras captured the furious reaction of Giannis Antetetokounmpo’s brother to the on-court skirmish.
