According to Page Six, the couple intended to get engaged in winter 2023 but postponed it, because they didn’t want things to happen too quickly. A source from this newspaper confirmed: “Taylor Swift and Travis have discussed this issue and have a specific plan. It is rumored that they will get engaged in July 2024, after a year of being together”.

Also according to some information leaked on social networks, Travis Kelce asked Taylor Swift’s father for permission to propose to her. Mr. Scott Swift, the singer’s father, agreed and strongly supported Travis Kelce.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, and brother Jason Kelce briefly discussed V-Day during the Wednesday, January 10, episode of their “New Heights” podcast. The holiday, which lands on February 14, came up in an ad for sponsor Etsy.

“With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s about that time of year I start shopping for something extra special for Kylie — that kind of a lie,” Jason, 36, admitted, referring to wife Kylie Kelce. “I usually do it last second just like every other man out here on the planet. But Etsy is the place I go to.”

Travis asked, “Do you have anything in mind yet?”

“I usually get the same chocolates every year, the same flowers and then a card,” Jason said. Jason and Kylie, who share three daughters, started dating in 2015 after meeting on Tinder and married in 2018.

Travis mockingly said in a high-pitched voice, “Oh, my gosh, that’s adorable. Chocolate and flowers!”

He went on to add, “Whether you’re feeling the Valentine’s Day pressure like Jason and I or trying to figure out the right gift for a significant other, Etsy is the go-to destination for adding that special touch.”

Travis has to figure out how to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Swift, 34, who will be on another leg of her blockbuster Eras Tour. She finishes a four-night residency in Tokyo on February 10 and is due to kick off the Australian leg in Melbourne on February 16.

As famous as Timberlake is, it’s hard to compare with Swift’s current celebrity status, which, if anything, has only been elevated since she started dating Kelce. The pair struck up a romance over the summer, and the 12-time Grammy winner addressed their relationship for the first time in her December TIME Person of the Year cover story.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said in the interview. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Another source said that the pair have been coordinating their schedules so they can still see each other in during their busy schedules.

‘They have very detailed plans coming up while she’s on tour and he has games,’ the source said.

‘Taylor and Travis have the next few months completely laid out,’ they revealed. ‘They don’t want to start their relationship off with big gaps [in time apart].’

‘They’re trying to be as much like a regular couple as possible,’ the source added.

A different source told the outlet that the pair will most likely be spending time in Tennessee at some point, where Swift owns a $2.5 million and 5,600-square-foot home.

Travis hasn’t been to Taylor’s Nashville place yet, so he’s really looking forward to it,’ the insider said.

The second source also said that the couple are planning to visit each other’s families before they head off on a romantic getaway with just the two of them.

‘They love [getting together] with their families and friends,’ the insider added. ‘But right now, what they value above all else is alone time.

‘They love to talk for hours, just the two of them,’ the source added. ‘Taylor tells [her] friends Travis is sweet and smart, and she can’t get enough of him.’

As their romance heats up, the couple are reportedly counting down the days until their getaway trip together.

‘Taylor and Travis know the next few months will be a whirlwind,’ the insider continued. ‘They can’t wait to get a break so they can run off to a beach together and cut themselves off from the rest of the world, at least for a little while.’

Recently, Kelce traveled to Argentina to watch Swift perform on her Eras Tour concert stop and spent time with her father.

The sources also revealed that the pair have been planning to get their parents together as they both are family-oriented people.

‘Taylor and Travis have spent time with each other’s parents, so it only makes sense that they’d want their parents to meet one another,’ the source explained.

‘Both of them have a very close relationship with their parents, and it’s really important that their families blend seamlessly,’ they continued.

Earlier this week, it was rumored that there would be a meetup between Swift and Kelce’s respective families at the November 20 game between the Philadelphia Eagles — the team Travis’ brother, Jason, plays for — and the Chiefs.

They revealed Swift and her team reached out to her fan’s family, and she is grateful that she has had Kelce supporting her through the difficult time.

‘He’s been a huge support system for her right now,’ the insider said. ‘Her family has been there, but it’s different to have a boyfriend to lean on.’

He’s used to fans going crazy in football, so it’s not such a shock,’ the fourth source explained.

‘Taylor knows it’s a lot for anyone to handle, but Travis learned to manage it over the years with NFL fans and not let it affect him.’

Compared to her past relationships, the second source said Swift ‘loves’ that she can live her life in the open and not hide their romance from the public.

‘With Taylor’s ex, Joe [Alwyn], she was so private,’ the insider noted. ‘They’d never go outside and walk around together.

Aaron Rodgers appeared to take a jab at fellow NFL star Travis Kelce over his ads promoting the flu and COVID-19 vaccines by referring to him as “Mr. Pfizer”—while also missing a key point when about pharmaceutical giants.

 

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, quarterback Rodgers gave a rundown on his team the New York Jets’ Sunday showdown against Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs edged a 23-20 victory over the home team.

“[It was a] moral victory out there, that we hung with the champs and that our defense played well,” said Rodgers. “Pat [Mahomes] didn’t have a crazy game, and Mr. Pfizer [Kelce], we kind of shut him down a little bit. He didn’t have his, like, crazy impact game.”

While Rodgers didn’t explicitly identify the target of his jab, it was clear that he was referring to Kelce, who just days ago unveiled a new commercial promoting the availability of the COVID and flu shots this fall. The ad is a partnership with Pfizer.

The comments weren’t particularly shocking, given Rodgers’ vocal stance against the COVID vaccines. He faced criticism late in 2021 when, after testing positive for the novel coronavirus, the then Green Bay Packers quarterback revealed that he had not been vaccinated as he expressed skepticism about the vaccine’s efficacy.

As Rodgers’ COVID vaccine skepticism continues today, his “Mr. Pfizer” swipe at tight end Kelce is worthy of a raised eyebrow, given the source of his income. The Jets—to whom Rodgers signed earlier this year—are owned by Woody and Christopher Johnson, heirs to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical fortune.

Johnson & Johnson was also one of the pharmaceutical giants that released a COVID vaccine. However, Rodgers—who is currently recovering from an ankle injury—went an alternative route to combat the virus.

After testing positive for COVID-19 in 2021, Rodgers said that he had been taking the anti-malaria medication hydroxychloroquine and the anti-parasite medication ivermectin to treat his symptoms. According to medical authorities, neither medication has any proven effect on alleviating COVID symptoms.

At the time, he also said during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show that he had leaned on the advice of Joe Rogan, who in the past has faced accusations of spreading misinformation surrounding the novel coronavirus.

“I consulted with a now good friend of mine, Joe Rogan, after he got COVID,” Rodgers said at the time. “And I’ve been doing a lot of the stuff that he recommended in his podcasts and on the phone to me.”

In 2021, when Rodgers spoke about his reluctance to take the COVID vaccine, he said that it could stand to affect his fertility, though he didn’t cite any studies to support that particular theory.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), no clinical research has linked any of the vaccines approved for use in the U.S. to male infertility.

While the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine has been linked to cases of blood clots in adult women younger than 50, the CDC has stated that blood clots in male vaccine recipients are rare.

According to an Oxford University study published in August 2021, the risk of developing blood clots is “substantially higher” from COVID-19 infections than from any possible side effects of taking the vaccine.

During an appearance on the Aubrey Marcus Podcast in August 2022, Rodgers spoke about how he was viewed by each side of the political aisle after revealing his position on the vaccines.

“All the right was like, ‘He’s our champion now’ and all the left was, ‘He’s the enemy,’” he said. “Look, politics is a sham first of all, I think. And I wouldn’t do CNN just like I wouldn’t do Fox News. I have no desire to be a part of this.
