Michael J. Fox believes Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds are among notable figures who will have an even greater impact in the next 50 years.

During a recent interview with People Magazine, the Back to the Future star said both the singer and actor came to mind when he thinks of people who are going to be “really important,” even in the future.

“I think she moves economies, she changes the way the world works, and that’s amazing,” Fox said of Swift, noting her impact with what she’s “said publicly about issues.” The Grammy-winning singer has spoken out in support of the LGBTQ community, as well as shared the importance of registering to vote with her fans, leading to spikes in voter registration.

As for Reynolds, Fox called the Deadpool star “so smart” and “talented,” and someone who “knows how to leverage things and make them succeed in other areas.”

 

The Spin City alum also described Reynolds as a “very philanthropic person,” adding, “I think he’s positioned to really do amazing things.” The Free Guy actor has been committed to advocating for the environment and helping the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

When Fox later pondered why many notables in Hollywood, such as Swift and Reynolds, have had such an impact on society, organizations, causes and more, he explained, “What is it about Ryan Reynolds that everything he touches is gold? What is it about people in my position that get involved in causes and have success and progress? You just show up and do it. And you don’t worry about what everybody thinks, what everybody says, or what you get out of that.”

It also made him think about his own advocacy work following his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 1991. “I didn’t think about it,” he said. “I wanted to work on Parkinson’s because I want a cure.”

He continued, “I just wanted to put us in the best position to find a cure, and hopefully, I did. And as far as other people, I think those are two good people.”

 

 

 

It was only a matter of time before critics of Brittany Mahomes entered the chat after Taylor Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday. My chiefs queen right there.”

Brittany appeared to be pretty unbothered by Swift’s presence, choosing to focus on her adorable kids, Sterling Skye, 2, and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, nine months. The family was decked out in red, gold, and white in support of “Dad.” She might not be everyone’s favorite football wife, but Patrick knows how tough she is as a former athlete. “If you played any sports, you know [there are] as many people that enjoy how you play and the effort that you give [as] people that are always going to hate on you,” he shared with E! News. “And so she has a good sense of that.”

Honestly, there is no reason to pit the women against each other because we have a feeling that any interaction between Swift and Brittany would probably be rather pleasant. Travis is set to prove that he is Taylor Swift’s number one fan as the release of her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, fast approaches.

 

 

 

The NFL champion, 34, is not only planning to buy up copies of the record after it drops on Friday, but is also planning a special celebration for his pop superstar girlfriend to mark the achievement of her 11th studio album, insiders have claimed.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has already had the chance to listen to the finished product ‘on multiple occasions’ and has reportedly picked out his favorite tracks.

‘After Travis himself admitted to hearing some of Taylor’s new album during the Super Bowl, he has since been able to hear the entire album on multiple occasions and they have talked about the album and what the songs are all about,’ an insider told DailyMailexclusively.

He has a few favorites – Down Bad and loml – but he also loves everything he has heard. Why wouldn’t he?’

On announcing the album, fans were quick to speculate if Taylor would address her relationship with Joe Alwyn as the title appears to reference The Tortured Man Club – a WhatsApp group he shares with pals Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott.

But despite her reputation for divulging details about her love life in her albums, Travis is said to have ‘zero concern’ about potential references to past relationships.

‘If it is about Joe, or anyone, even if it is about him in the future, this is the artist she is and he is in love with her and doesn’t pay any attention to be jealous,’ the insider continued.

‘He understands this is a major part of what makes her the person and artist she is and he is no way looking to thwart the direction she takes.

‘He supports her 100 per cent and loves everything she is doing. Joe or any of her exes is not of concern to him whatsoever.’

With this being the first studio album Taylor has released since the pair began their romance in summer 2023, the source explained that Travis is looking forward to being able to purchase a copies in support of her.

‘He can’t wait to buy her album and support her that way,’ the insider dished. ‘He is very excited for her and for people to hear it and be there for the next phase of her career.’

Meanwhile, the podcast host is also hoping to do something ‘special’ for Taylor as a way to celebrate all her hard work – before she then jets off to continue her Eras World Tour in Europe next month.

On Wednesday, snippets of songs credited to the album started circulating on social media, with some claiming they had been taken from a Google Drive link containing 17 different songs – the same number of hits that Taylor confirmed would be included on her upcoming record.

News of the so-called leak sent shockwaves through the singer’s fanbase, with some rushing to listen to the songs, while others were quick to defend the popstar, urging others to ‘report’ any posts circulating the clips and insisting that Taylor’s most die-hard supporters would wait until the official album is released.

DailyMail has reached out to Taylor’s representatives for comment.

Taylor has been enjoying her free time with Travis, with the couple looking more than loved up as they partied with friends during the first weekend of Coachella.

Page Six has reached out to Kelce’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Swift, also 34, dated Alwyn, 33, for six years before they split in early 2023. The couple had a serious relationship and were even rumored to be engaged at one point.

When Swift announced her eleventh studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February, fans immediately noticed the title was likely a nod to the British actor.

As one Swiftie pointed out at the time, Alwyn previously disclosed in an interview with GQ UK that he had a group chat with pals Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott called the Tortured Man Club.

Swift, of course, has a history of writing songs about her exes and putting them on blast in the process.

The pop superstar’s song “Style” is rumored to be about Harry Styles, “All to Well” is about Jake Gyllenhaal, “Dear John” is about John Mayer and “Back to December” is about Taylor Lautner.

Last year, the latter joked that he was “praying” for Mayer, 46, since “Speak Now” was set to be re-released as part of Swift’s plan to re-record all of her early albums.

“I think it’s a great album,” the “Twilight” alum told Today.com in May 2023. “Yeah, I feel safe.”

Lautner, 32, then quipped, “Praying for John.”

Swifties have already warned Alwyn to “count [his] days” given some of the brutal names featured on the 17-song tracklist for “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Some of the eye-raising titles include “So Long, London,” “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys,” “But Daddy I Love Him” and “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can).”

At a recent pop-up in Los Angeles to promote the album, fans found an open book that read, “Even statues crumble / If they’re made to wait,” which they interpreted to be about Alwyn.

“Omgggg she was so excited to marry him she would’ve marry him with paper rings but he was just wasting time,” one Swiftie speculated via X earlier this week.

Another weighed in, “My girlie wanted to be his bride so much,” and a third added, “she waited six years for that ring .”

Despite which tracks are or aren’t about Alwyn, Kelce has reportedly already chosen his favorites.

The Daily Mail’s source also told the outlet that the Super Bowl champ likes “Down Bad” and “loml” best but that he actually “loves everything he has heard.”

“He can’t wait to buy her album and support her that way,” the insider added of Kelce. “He is very excited for her and for people to hear it and be there for the next phase of her career.”

“The Tortured Poets Department” is set to officially be released on Friday.

Swift, 34, seems shocked by the move and begins to giggle at Kelce, also 34, as the video cuts to the next clip.

The compilation video also included clips of the singer exercising at a gym, sewing, doing arts and crafts while wearing a Kansas University sweatshirt, making cinnamon buns, playing pickleball and hanging out with friends on a boat.
