Travis Kelce is enjoying some time on the golf course following his Super Bowl win — and not in Australia with Taylor Swift.

 

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, was photographed playing golf at the Wynn Las Vegas Tuesday as fans try to determine if he’s going to make the long flight to Sydney to catch an Eras Tour show to support his Grammy-winning girlfriend.

The picture, which was shared by the Wynn’s VIP relations director Jasmin Medar, showed the pro athlete in slacks and a polo shirt as he approvingly looked down at a sign for a body of water called Lake Travis.

Medar revealed Kelce was at the 17th hole at the time he captured the image.

Furthermore, a resident DJ at Las Vegas’ Toca Madera, a Mexican steakhouse, claimed on his Instagram that he heard Kelce was “getting down” to his music last Friday night in a private room and that he was asked to play a private event for the Chiefs this upcoming Friday.

Fans — and the NFL player’s dad — are still speculating about Kelce’s Eras Tour travel plans as he enjoys his time in Sin City.

Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald Tuesday, Ed Kelce said, “Well, look, we spoke after the Super Bowl, and I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen.”

“He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments,” he added.

Travis flew to Argentina to see Swift, 34, perform last November, so there’s no question about his willingness to cross land and sea to support her.

Swift kicked off her Australian tour dates last week and has four shows in Sydney beginning this Friday before she heads to Singapore.

She left for the land down under shortly after she watched Kelce win his third Super Bowl ring on Feb. 11 when the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers.

She missed the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade last Wednesday, which ended in tragedy when at least two people pulled out guns during a heated disagreement.

One person was killed following the shootout, while 22 were injured.

Swift and Kelce donated $100,000 each to families affected by the violence.

 

 

Attention everyone who’s been casually and totally normally wondering when Travis Kelce would finally join Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour: it’s happening.

 

 

Travis missed Taylor’s shows in Melbourne (where she spoke about being lonely while dating Joe Alwyn), but TMZ reports that he’s officially on his way to Sydney on a private jet. The outlet reports that he is “en route” and will be “landing there bright and early.” Reminder: Sydney is basically a full day ahead of those of us in the USA.

According to TMZ, Travis traveled from Los Angeles to Hawaii, and then from Hawaii to Sydney. He also grabbed dinner at Nobu in Los Angeles on Tuesday night before departing around 9:00 pm.

Trav was previously seen playing golf at the Wynn Las Vegas, and a photo of him on the course was shared by Wynn’s VIP relations director Jasmin Medar on Tuesday (February 20):

Meanwhile, Travis’ dad Ed Kelce recently told everyone that “We spoke after the Super Bowl, and I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen. “My very 1st concert”). While belting out “The Archer,” the 14-time Grammy winner noticed the young boy, his father, and his little sister decked out in their best Swiftie gear. As she continued performing the tune from her 2019 album Lover, Swift smiled and aimed her finger at the group, seemingly sharing approval towards their matching outfits.
The adorable moment was captured and shared online by mom Laura Elizabeth Luther, who appeared elated over the experience she could share with her family.

Ross Travis has made his presence in the Travis Kelce’s circle known recently with the pair flying out to Australia on a private jet on Wednesday.

 

Travis posted a photo from the plane with the words ‘Down Under’ lightly written over the window on his Instagram story. The 31-year-old joins the Chiefs star as he catches Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in Sydney.

Before heading Down Under, Travis was part of the group that joined Kelce in Las Vegas earlier this week. The tight end returned to Sin City over a week after winning the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium to participate in a charity golf tournament.

While in Sin City, Travis posted a video of the views from the Wynn Golf & Country Club where Kelce played. The group also dined at a restaurant called Toca Madera in Las Vegas.

Being close friends with Kelce, Travis is no stranger to Swift either.

Travis watched from Kelce’s star-studded suite at Allegiant as the Chiefs won their second straight title. After the Super Bowl, Travis shared a series of pictures, including one with the 14-time Grammy winner.

The tight end out of Penn State went undrafted in 2015 before signing with Kansas City. Playing the same position, Travis built a good relationship with Kelce who was drafted two years earlier. After two seasons in Kansas City, Travis left and began to bounce around the NFL.

Travis went on to play two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts before joining the New York Jets in 2019. He then served as a practice player for the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions in 2021 before becoming a free agent.

His time as an active player was halted when he tore his ACL against the Cincinnati Bengals in 2018. Days later, he was placed on the Colts’ injury reserve. The following year became a rollercoaster for Travis as he was resigned in February and released in August only to be brought back in November.

One month later, he was waived by Indianapolis and began his stints as a practice player.

Over his five seasons, Travis appeared in 29 games in the NFL. During those games he recorded a total of 14 receptions for 142 yards.

Despite a short stint as teammates, Kelce and Travis appear to have maintained their friendship. Not being signed to a team, Travis regularly attends Chiefs games and workouts out with Kelce.

Aside from their shared love for football and supporting Swift overseas, the pair have also enjoyed traveling and attending music festivals together.

 

Travis Kelce finally touched down in Sydney on Thursday morning to join his girlfriend Taylor Swift on the Australian leg of her much-awaited Eras tour.

 

But one big clue has revealed how the American tight end, 34, likely doesn’t have big romantic plans for his first weekend Down Under with the global megastar amid her busy touring schedule.

As he disembarked Taylor’s private jet at Sydney Airport after landing at 8.57am, airport staff were seen carrying his golf clubs off the Bombardier Global 6000.

His sporting goods may hint at his weekend plans to hit the golf course while his pop star girlfriend takes to the stage for four sold out Sydney concerts.

As well as bringing his clubs with him, Travis has also been joined on his big Australia trip by his friend and regular golfing buddy, Ross Travis.

The pair competed in a charity golf tournament shortly before making the trip Down Under.

Ross had given his Instagram followers a glimpse at their flight from Hawaii while they were en route, before the pair were seen disembarking the craft together.

Tight end Ross, 31, then accompanied his friend to the Crown hotel in Sydney’s Barangaroo, where Travis is believed to be staying with his girlfriend Taylor, 34.

Pictures showed Kelce and Ross admiring Sydney’s landmarks from a lavish room, which boasted the same modern lights as the $25,000-per-night presidential villa, where Taylor is rumoured to be staying.

The 800sqm residence is split over two levels and boasts unparalleled views over Sydney Harbour.

The first floor features an expansive living area, kitchen, bar, pool table, and a media room for entertaining.

A dining room comfortably hosts up to 10 people and there is also a fully equipped office and butler’s quarters.

Meanwhile, the second floor includes a spectacular master bedroom features a spacious bathroom complete with a marble spa bath and steam shower.

A second king-size bedroom features a deluxe en-suite, with the luxury extending to the fitness room complete with infrared sauna, while an open-air terrace also boasts a private, heated infinity pool.

It is expected that Travis will attend Taylor’s upcoming shows in Sydney – which will run nightly from Friday, February 23 to Monday, February 26.

Rumours are heating up that the pair will also enjoy a romantic holiday together in Queensland after Taylor wraps up her Australian tour.

The couple were last pictured together during Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, as they celebrated the Kansas City Chiefs’ win.

Swiftie mania has rapidly spread across Australia ever since Taylor began her run of arena concerts, and the excitement has only ramped up more upon Travis’ arrival.

Across all Australian TV channels on Thursday morning, the same live footage of Travis’ flight touching down at Sydney Airport was shown as excitement overran the country.

On Sunrise, Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington eagerly tracked Travis’ flight as they had reporter Liam Tapper live at the scene waiting for the flight to land.

The co-hosts were seen keeping an eye on the jet via a live flight tracker, which they revealed temporarily crashed amid a huge number of Swifties tracking the plane.

Liam revealed: ‘We’ve been refreshing the flight tracker app. It even crashed at one point, they had their engineers working on it, such is the interest in Travis’ flight!’

After a resurfaced video of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end performing during a karaoke competition went viral on the social media platform Reddit, fans of the NFL star have come to his defense.

 

 

 

The conversation unraveled earlier this afternoon in the forum dedicated to the podcast he co-hosts with his older brother, Jason Kelce, New Heights. It began with the original poster (OP) exclaiming, “Who ever [sic] told Travis that he can’t sing? This man can saaaannggg!” alongside a link to the video in question.

For Kelce’s “surprisingly good” performance, he belted out the tune “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” by The Georgia Satellites while at the American Century Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe back in July 2022.

Hours after the clip was uploaded to R/NewHeights, hundreds of Redditors upvoted it and shared how impressed they were by the 34-year-old’s singing capabilities in the comments.

“this was… surprisingly good ,” one wrote, to which OP replied, “Right?! That song sounds like it’s easy to sing, but it’s not! And he totally pulled it off.”

“Much better when he hasn’t downed a bottle of Don Julio and at least a 12 pack of beer,” another quipped, likely referring to his drunken rendition of Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places,” which he performed onstage at the Super Bowl Championship parade.

A third joked, “Taylor saw this video and was like he’s mine.”

While someone else begged Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift to bring him up on stage for a duet during the Aussie leg of her Eras Tour, “Can we get him on stage in Sydney for a duet?”

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes had another reason to celebrate over the weekend as the couple marked daughter Sterling Skye’s third birthday with an extravagant butterfly-themed ‘Tea for Three’ party at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

 

In video posted on Instagram, the reigning Super Bowl MVP’s eldest laughs and plays with other young children aboard a series of slides, Merry Go Rounds and an inflatable bounce house. The Mahomes family returned to their native Dallas for the party following last week’s shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl rally, where one woman was killed and at least 22 were injured. Since then, all of the surviving victims have been released from the hospital. Two teenagers have been charged as minors in the shooting.

In addition to three-year-old Sterling Skye, the couple also has a son, Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III, who was born in November of 2022.

In addition to the recent festivities, the family has also endured another drunk-driving arrest by Patrick Sr. in recent weeks.

In the week before the Super Bowl, the former MLB relief pitcher was arrested in Smith County, Texas on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. It is at least his third arrest for allege drunk-driving, and could be facing a felony sentence of up to 10 years if he is convicted.

Patrick Jr. said his father was ‘doing good’ after his arrest, but declined to speak further.

‘It’s a family matter, so I’ll keep it to the family,’ Mahomes said at Super Bowl opening night. ‘That’s all I have to say.’
