Brittany and Patrick Mahomes are celebrating their daughter’s birthday early this year! On Sunday, the couple jointly shared a video on their respective Instagram accounts featuring footage of Sterling Skye’s party ahead of her turning 3 on Feb. 20.

 

 

The little girl wore a pink dress with a red flower print as she went down a slide, rode a ride, bounced around and hugged her friends and parents in the video of the event, which appeared to have a tea party theme. According to Brittany and Patrick’s Instagram Story posts, the party was held on Sunday at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden in Dallas.

A few butterflies were welcome guests, as seen in the video, and Sterling donned her own pair of butterfly wings for part of the day. Guests were treated to tea cup-shaped cookies with the birthday girl’s name on them. “We celebrated our Sterling Skye today!

I can’t even believe we will have a 3 year old in just a few days!” Brittany, 28, captioned the clip, set to Cyndi Lauper’s hit “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.”

“She truly enjoys going down to the field and getting to see him before the game. I think it’s a very special moment wherever I get to bring them to the game and they get to watch their dad play football,” she added. Patrick and Brittany are also parents to son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, who turned 1 in November 2023.

 

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been cheering each other on for months on their respective turfs, but at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, they were both declared winners.

 

 

Swift won four awards — female artist, pop artist, concert tour and social celebrity. Kelce won one — athlete of the year. Neither star attended the show — Swift was kept away by touring commitments in Australia. Actor and author Simu Liu hosted the show, which aired live on Sunday (Feb. 18) on NBC, Peacock and E! from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. Liu was nominated in the movie performance category for his role in Barbie, but lost to America Ferrera.

Olivia Rodrigo, Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice and Jimmy Fallon each won two awards. Rodrigo took song (“Vampire”) and album (Guts); Minaj took hip-hop artist and collaboration song (the latter for “Barbie World,” a collab with Ice Spice featuring Aqua); Ice Spice won that award and also new artist; Fallon won nighttime talk show (The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon) and host (for That’s My Jam).

 

 

Three Billboard Hot 100-topping artists won awards in TV categories. Billie Eilish won TV performance for Swarm. Selena Gomez took female TV star for Only Murders in the Building. Kelly Clarkson won daytime talk show for The Kelly Clarkson Show. Barbie won five awards — movie, comedy movie, male and female movie star (Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie) and movie performance (Ferrera).

Robbie’s win for female movie star makes up, a tiny bit, for the fact that she was passed over for an Oscar nomination for best actress. Likewise, Ice Spice’s win for new artist helps make up for the rapper’s Grammy loss in the best new artist category. The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes won two awards — action movie and action movie star for Rachel Zegler.

Only Murders in the Building, The Last of Us and The Kardashians also won two awards each. Only Murders won comedy show and female TV star for Gomez. The Last of Us won drama show and male TV star for Pedro Pascal. The Kardashians won reality show and reality TV star for Khloé Kardashian (who beat sister Kim).

Jennifer Aniston presented the Comedy Icon Award to Adam Sandler. Victoria Monét presented the Music Icon Award to Lenny Kravitz, who performed on the show. Lainey Wilson, Kylie Minogue and Natasha Bedingfield also performed.

Travis Kelce followed up his Super Bowl victory by winning Athlete of the Year at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards on Sunday, February 18.

Kelce, 34, was not in attendance during the awards show at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. He was nominated for Athlete of the Year along with Coco Gauff, Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, Lionel Messi, Sabrina Ionescu, Simone Biles and Stephen Curry. (Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, took home four of her five nominations on Sunday but was unable to attend the ceremony due to her Eras Tour performances in Australia.)

 

 

Kelce previously reacted to his nomination in January, calling it “f–king nonsense” during an episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “What did I do to get Athlete of the Year? I did SNL,” he teased at the time. “How am I on this [list]?”

Along with his talent as a tight end, Kelce has been thrust into the spotlight thanks to his relationship with Swift, 34, which began last summer. The pop star was on hand in Las Vegas when Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs won their second consecutive Super Bowl on February 11.

The Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime. Swift and Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, went down to the field to celebrate with the team after their big win. Travis accepted the Lombardi Trophy on stage and sang “Viva Las Vegas” before finding Swift and sharing a passionate kiss.

Following their sweet moment, Travis told reporters that he was “on top of the world right now,” adding, “It’s a good feeling.”

Travis’ season was a big success even before the Super Bowl, and he continues to be one of the top players in the league. Throughout 2023, Travis had 93 catches for 984 yards and scored five touchdowns in 15 games.

In November 2023, the Chiefs announced via Instagram that Travis was the “fastest tight end to 11,000 receiving yards and the only player in franchise history to do it.”

Last month, Travis discussed the future of his NFL career and insisted he wouldn’t be leaving the field anytime soon.

“I have no reason to stop playing football,” he told reporters at a press conference at the time. “I’ve been fortunate to do a few things outside of the sports world that I’ve been enjoying doing, like getting on camera. The SNL stuff kind of opened up a new happiness and a new career path for me, but it’s funny for me to even say that at this point in my career because I think it’s so much further down the road than it is right now.

 Kelce’s quest to pursue a career in acting or television and film production is heating up as the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end enjoys a strong start to his 2024 after winning the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers.

And now those great things could be here as he met with David Bernad, according to The Wrap. Bernad is an executive producer on The White Lotus, an American dark comedy anthology that receiving critical acclaim and had a second season commissioned by HBO.

The exec flew out to Kansas City to meet with the NFL star to discuss a reality television show that Kelce wants to both star in and also serve as an executive producer.

The songstress is continuing her sold-out show in Sydney this week and with the NFL season and Super Bowl celebrations now wound-down, Travis could be considering a trip down to Australia to watch his girlfriend perform.

That’s according to his dad, Ed, who told the Sydney Morning Herald: ‘Well, look, we spoke after the Super Bowl , and I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen.

‘He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments. He is at a celebrity charity golf outing today, which, I think, is in Las Vegas.

Travis and Taylor have juggled their schedules to squeeze in time together with the singer attending 13 of his games this NFL season, including making a mad dash back from Tokyo to Vegas to make it to the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, Travis took advantage of the Chiefs bye week in November to play the role of doting boyfriend and watch Taylor perform to thousands of adoring fans in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

However, while America’s favorite couple appear to be managing their schedules well so far, Ed admitted he did have his concerns about the future for the two highly-successful lovebirds.

‘I won’t pretend that I don’t worry about it, he is my son, and I worry about him because they will have some challenges in their relationship for sure,’ Ed said. ‘But they seem a good fit, and ultimately, they just need to find their way together.’

With the Super Bowl now out of the way, Travis should have a relatively open diary throughout the NFL offseason until training camp with the Chiefs starts up in September.

Meanwhile, after her stint in Sydney, Swift has six shows in Singapore before she has two months off.

Touring then restarts on May 9 in Paris and Swift will be on the road until mid-August, by which point Kelce will have returned to practice with the Chiefs for the new NFL season, which begins in early September.

As People reports, the pop star’s Wove Made Inc. diamond bracelet references hers and and Kelce’s initials. Swift was first spotting wearing the bracelet while attending the AFC Championship game on Jan. 28.

While it has been reported that Kelce has plans to join Swift overseas as she continues her history-making tour, he was recently spotted in Kansas City with a friend, the Daily Mail first reported.

While there are thousands of miles between Kelce and Swift at the moment, that doesn’t mean the pair are not continuing to solidify their place as the ultimate power couple.

On Sunday, Feb. 18, both Swift and Kelce won People’s Choice Awards—Swift for female artist of the year, pop artist of the year, concert tour of the year, and social celebrity of the year, while Kelce took home the award for athlete of the year.

Both Kelce and Swift also donated to victims and families of the tragic Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl Parade shooting that left one woman dead and more than 20 people injured.

Swift donated $100,000 to the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a mother of two and beloved Kansas City radio disc jokey who was killed in the shooting that occurred just outside the city’s historic Union Station on Wednesday, Feb. 14.

Kelce also donated $100,000 to two sisters, ages 8 and 10, who were both shot in the leg while celebrating the Chiefs’ win with their family. Over half of the more than 20 people who were injured at the shooting were children.

Ahead of the Chief’s Super Bowl 58 win, Kelce said that he’s “very aware” of the impact his high-profile relationship with the most powerful pop star on the planet has on the NFL.

“Mostly because Taylor’s in my life now,” he added. “What me and Taylor have is special.”

An inner-city Italian trattoria frequented by dozens by Aussie celebrities had its most famous customer yet on Tuesday night.

 

Taylor Swift literally stopped traffic on Tuesday night when she stepped out for dinner in Sydney.

The global superstar, 34, shocked onlookers at Pellegrino 2000, a neighbourhood trattoria located in Surry Hills.

The restaurant, which was voted NSW’s No1 in 2022, is the second outlet opened by acclaimed chefs Daniel Pepperell and Michael Cliff and sommelier Andy Tyson, who also run the popular Bistrot 916 in Potts Point.

Pellegrino 2000 has dozens of celebrity fans, including Channel Nine’s Sylvia Jeffreys, MasterChef Australia’s Melissa Leong, Farmer Wants a Wife host Samantha Armytage, radio presenter Kate Ritchie, cricket WAG Emma Lyon and podcaster Abbie Chatfield.

The self-described ‘neighbourhood trattoria’, the popular restaurant is known for its Italian fare as well as its wine.

A local in the know said the restaurant’s prices are ‘very reasonable for Sydney’.

‘Taylor could have chosen plenty of pricey restaurants to eat at, but opted for something local.’

Pellegrino 2000 has both inside and outdoor dining options.

Reservations are essential.

It’s understood Swift didn’t book out the entire restaurant and enjoyed her meal among other paying customers

Swift looked every inch the hipster local on Tuesday night, opting for a low-key black gypsy top paired with a brown suede skirt for the outing.

The Shake It Off hitmaker accessorised her off-duty look with a delicate necklace, and a jet black belt to cinch in her waist.

She wore her blonde locks natural for her night out on the town, and highlighted her famous visage with a classic makeup palette consisting of a defined eye and statement lip.

The one-woman economy made the most of her night off with fellow singer Sabrina Carpenter, who is currently supporting Taylor on her sell-out Eras Tour.

The Girl Meets World star dazzled in a red minidress with white fringe detailing and simple back tights.

Carpenter accessorised her look with a classic Louis Vuitton handbag, and carried a black leather look jacket to protect herself from the unpredictable Sydney weather of late.

The Pennsylvania-born native wore her flash of blonde hair dead straight for her night out in the hip inner city suburb.

Swift is currently enjoying four days of rest and relaxation in the Harbour City after her Eras Tour took Melbourne by storm, selling out three days at the famed MCG.

The megastar jetted into Sydney on Monday afternoon and is staying at Crown’s presidential villa in Barangaroo.

On Tuesday morning, her private jet took to the skies on a flight bound for Honolulu, amid reports its headed there to pick up her NFL star beau Travis Kelce.

Kelce dropped a huge hint that he could head Down Under on this week’s episode of his New Heights podcast, claiming that he would ‘venture to an island real soon’ with the best ones being ‘south’ of the US.

He added that next week’s podcast is a pre-recorded guest episode which he is not featured in, which led fans to believe he would join his girlfriend in Sydney – and maybe travel with her to Singapore for her shows in the first week of March.

Rumours are also heating up that Swift and Kelce will enjoy enjoy a romantic holiday together in Queensland during their time Down Under.

Swift is set to perform four shows in Sydney from Friday, February 23 to Monday February 26.

 

Taylor Swift’s private jet has taken off on a surprise flight, three days away from her next concert date, with fans guessing it might be on its way to pick up boyfriend Travis Kelce.

 

The flight plan indicates the plane is on its way to Honolulu where it is due to arrive about 9.20pm (local time) on Tuesday.

 

The mystery remains as to why the jet is returning to the Hawaiian island ahead of Swift’s next concert in Sydney on Friday.

It is not known who is on board the jet or who it could potentially be picking up in Honolulu.

 

Swift’s boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, hinted at visiting the superstar Down Under in his podcast “New Heights”, saying he would “venture to an island real soon”.

He also said he would not be appearing on next week’s episode alongside his brother Jason Kelce, leading fans to speculate that he would be in Australia and unable to record the show.

Speaking live with Today on Tuesday morning, Travis’ dad Ed Kelce said he heard the rumours his son was going to travel south to visit Swift on her Australian tour.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he does,” he told the morning show hosts.

“I actually called him a little while ago and my understanding is he’s on a golf course someplace right now.

“He plays a lot of golf, but it’s mostly in these charity events and I think that’s what he’s wrapped up [with] now.”

Kelce was spotted on Sunday playing virtual golf with friends in Parkville, Missouri – not far from Kansas.

The Cruel Summer singer arrived in Sydney on Monday, after finishing her Melbourne leg of her tour.

She was spotted getting on the plane wearing her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Chiefs Super Bowl Champions hat, as well as a red top and shorts.

She arrived in Sydney just before 1.30pm, after only a roughly 20-minute delay.

The delay was caused by thunderstorms and lighting strikes in the area.

Multiple other domestic flights were delayed.

Swift’s jet pulled into a hangar in the airport, so that she could leave the plane to privately go to her hotel in the city.

After landing, she joined a convoy of cars where she is believed to have been taken to a penthouse at Crown in Barangaroo.

Swift recently sold her second private jet, a Dassault Falcon 900, in January ahead of the Australian leg of her Eras Tour.

The pop superstar has been criticised for her frequent private jet use over the past few years.

In November last year, her jet was sent to Kansas City where it picked up Kelce, before taking the NFL star Buenos Aires where she was performing.
