A Current Affair paid a special visit to Immy in Melbourne’s South East, where her bedroom walls are dedicated to her idol.

We told Immy and mum Rachel we were here to enter them in a competition to win tickets to one of Taylor’s sold-out Sydney shows.

The pair were speechless when they were told they would be seeing the pop princess live in concert.

“I can’t even talk,” Immy said.

“Can you believe it… we are going to Sydney. Are you serious? and flights and accommodation? You’re kidding me. Oh my god. That’s so exciting.”

Rachel said she’s devoted hours trying to buy tickets.

“I love Taylor’s messaging. I love that she embraces being unique and being different,” she said.

Immy was born with craniofrontonasal dysplasia, a condition which causes premature fusing of the skull bones in her head.

It’s meant she’s been no stranger to hospital.

“She has had several surgeries over her life trying to make her skull bigger to accommodate her growing brain and she does look a little different to other people,” Rachel said.

Immy’s condition also means she needs a little extra support along the way.

“We have had to have resilience over the years,” Rachel said.

“There have been some difficult moments in hospital but to be honest I would never change a thing.

“We’ve had a wonderful journey with Imogen so far and we by far are the luckiest parents in the world.”

Now this vivacious girl has a concert to get to, and a message for her school teacher.
