It’s been a long time coming: PH celebs attend Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ concert

Isabelle Daza, Anne Curtis, Andrea Brillantes, and Kathryn Bernardo are some of the lucky Swifties who watched ‘The Eras Tour’ live!

MANILA, Philippines – Sana all! Several Filipino celebrities had their wildest dreams come to life as they were among the lucky fans who got the chance to watch pop star Taylor Swift during her highly-anticipated The Eras Tour concert.

To the heartbreak of many Philippine-based Swifties, the “All Too Well” hitmaker didn’t include a stop in the Philippines for her The Eras Tour. With zero shows in the country, numerous fans – including several famous Filipino personalities – flew to different parts of the world to catch the superstar in action.

Taylor had a four-night residency at the Tokyo Dome in Japan from February 7 to 10. As of February 18, she’s currently in Melbourne, Australia to conclude a three-night show. After Melbourne, she’ll be staging the concert in Sydney, Australia from February 23 to February 26. Then, Swift will bring the concert to Singapore – her only stop in Southeast Asia – from March 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Let’s take a look at the Filipino stars who channeled their die-hard fangirl selves for Taylor’s The Eras Tour concert:

Anne marked her birthday on February 17 by catching one of Swift’s concert stops in Melbourne. The actress-host attended the show with her “It Girls” squad, fellow actress Isabelle Daza, Martine Cajucom, and Nicole Warne.

The celebrity friend group took to social media to document their concert experience, sharing photos of their tickets and friendship bracelets, as well as showing off their Taylor-inspired outfits.

“I have two types of friends — those who make fun of me for being a Swiftie and those who fly to come see her with me,” Martine captioned her Instagram post.

Meanwhile, Belle shared a compilation of clips from the concert. “The Taylor effect,” she wrote.

    Kathryn Bernardo

Kathryn also flew to Melbourne to watch The Eras Tour concert with best friend Arisse de Santos. For her concert fit, the actress donned a Taylor Swift T-shirt, metallic mini-skirt, and black boots.

The A Very Good Girl star has been a known Swiftie for several years now. In 2014, Kathryn already attended Swift’s Red tour, the singer’s last concert in the Philippines. And she even had the chance to pose for a photo with the Grammy-winning singer!

    Alexa Ilacad

Alexa was one of the lucky Swifties who were present during the singer’s three-night concert in Japan. The actress stunned in a Speak-Now inspired pink tulle dress. Completing her look are multiple friendship bracelets on her arm and butterfly clips on her hair.

“I can’t believe I finally experienced this live. My life is complete,” she wrote alongside a clip of the singer performing “All Too Well.” In a separate clip, the Pira-Pirasong Paraiso actress wrote: “I was enchanted to meet you, Taylor.”

    Angelika dela Cruz

Fangirling knows no age and actress Angelika is proof of that! Sharing photos from the Japan concert stop, she thanked the American singer for making a tita like her happy.

    Andrea Brillantes

The Eras Tour is a huge event for a lot of Swifites. And like most fans, Andrea also went all out with her concert OOTD! The actress was a head-turner with her French Fries costume and a cheeseburger box clutch. The whole ensemble is a nod to the “You Need to Calm Down” music video where Taylor dressed up as French fries while Katy Perry wore a burger outfit.

“I know I had the best day with you today. Taylor Swift + my sisters + Tokyo = the best day,” the Senior High actress said alongside photos of her enjoying the concert.

    Michelle Vito

Another Speak Now girlie! Michelle watched Taylor’s Japan concert in an all-purple ensemble: floral tube top, waistband pants, and butterfly accessories.

“Finally! My heart is so happy,” she captioned her post.

    Criza Taa

Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Criza said that it was “enchanting to finally meet” Taylor during the singer’s Japan concert.

“Dreams really do come true. I still remember the day you announced your The Eras Tour concert for 2024 and all I said was, ‘I need to go. Whatever happens, I’m gonna go,” she said. The Zoomers star added that she “prayed and manifested” for her concert moment.

Addressing the singer, Criza said: “I will fly thousands of miles just for you and only you. You’re the only one who can make my heart skip a beat.”

The Eras Tour served as the singer’s first stadium tour in five years. It kicked off in the USA in March 2023 and is expected to end by December 2024 after 150 shows.

According to the Guinness World Records, Swift’s The Eras Tour has officially been named as the highest-grossing music tour ever. It’s the first concert tour to generate over $1 billion in revenue.

NSW Police confirmed they were investigating claims Scott Swift assaulted Ben McDonald at a ferry wharf in the suburb of Neutral Bay.

An investigation into the alleged incident has been launched by the North Shore Police Command.

McDonald, the chief executive of Matrix Media Group, told Daily Mail Australia that Taylor and Scott had traveled from Homebush on a luxury superyacht called Quantum after her performance.

When they got off, Scott allegedly ‘charged’ at him, he alleges. He stated he thought he was security and was shocked when he realized the alleged attacker was Taylor’s dad.

‘In 23 years of taking pictures, I have never seen anything like it,’ he said.

Queensland Tourism is planning to rename the state’s Vlasoff Cay island to invite Taylor Swift to visit.Following Taylor Swift’s first The Eras Tour show in Sydney, Queensland’s Tourism and Events Authority has made a “bold attempt” to lure the pop superstar to the state.

Their plan is to rename the island of Vlasoff Cay in the Great Barrier Reef area to Tay Cay. However, this name will not be used officially.

This is part of the agency’s efforts to invite Taylor Swift, in addition to improving convenient services such as helicopter shuttle service, coral diving, picnics and champagne enjoyment.

Tourism Queensland also offered to sponsor a luxury holiday for Taylor Swift on a nearby private island. This invitation will be published on many Australian media channels until February 27.

Previously, Vlasoff Cay island had been used many times by Queensland to promote tourism in this state.

Taylor Swift also has experience with Queensland when she spent a large amount of money on members of her work crew to vacation on Hamilton Island – the largest island in Queensland – in 2015.

Ms Patricia O’Callaghan, CEO of the Queensland Tourism and Events Authority, used her impressive knowledge of Swift’s song catalog to attract the star to visit.

This is what to do with your Taylor Swift friendship bracelets after your Eras Tour concert is over

Taylor Swift fans have run into a dilemma now that the Australian leg of the superstar’s Eras Tour is over.

Thousands who made and exchanged friendship bracelets at the concerts are unsure of what to do with the beaded bands.

Marco Paulo, a Filipino fan, flew to Japan for one of the concerts and came up with an innovate idea once he got back home.

He made a DIY light-up show piece using the concert’s light up wrist band, two glass jars, and his friendship bracelets.

Marco keeps the memento on his desk as a happy reminder of his first concert.

Marco Paulo made a DIY light-up show piece using his friendship bracelets

‘Here’s how I display my friendship bracelets from the Eras Tour,’ he captioned the video tutorial.

The tradition dates back to some of Taylor’s earliest shows, but fans who went to the Eras Tour took it who a whole new level by making tens of hundreds of the jewellery pieces.

Marco first gathered a 4x5in jar and a 2.5×4.5in jar – the former was purchased at Daiso, and the latter used to contain lollies.

He put the bracelets on the smaller jar and lined them up before placing the light-up section of his wristband inside it.

He then placed the small jar into the larger one and put the lids on, fastening his concert wristband over the top.

The end result is an adorable and easy-to-make display trinket.

‘I know the batter will eventually run out but that’s okay,’ he said about the wristband. ‘Will just try to replace it or use another light source.’

If you don’t have the concert wristband, you can also use fairy lights or small bulbs for a similar effect.

    Many complimented Marco’s ‘genius’ idea.

‘Oh, what a great idea! I’m going to do the same!’ one said.

‘I wish I could’ve gotten confetti to put in as well, but I wasn’t allowed on the floor,’ one shared.

Other ways to display your bracelets include hanging them on your bedpost or the side of your mirror.

You can also use them as bonus birthday or holiday presents for your friends and family.

  • Taylor Swift Accused of Performing ‘Demonic’ Rituals at Her Concerts By Irish Singer Shane Lynch

Taylor Swift Accused of Performing ‘Demonic’ Rituals at Her Concerts By Irish Singer Shane Lynch

Pop star Taylor Swift has been accused of performing “eic” rituals at her concerts during her Eras tour by Irish singer Shane Lynch, who said that the “Bad Blood” singer might not even realize what she’s doing.

“I think when you’re looking at a lot of the artists out there, a lot of their stage shows are Satanic rituals live in front of 20,000 people without them realizing and recognizing,” Lynch told Ireland’s Sunday World.

The former Boyzone singer added, “You’ll see a lot of hoods up and masks on and fire ceremonies.”

“Even down to Taylor Swift — one of the biggest artists in the world — you watch one of her shows and she has two or three different demonic rituals to do with the pentagrams on the ground, to do with all sorts of stuff on her stage,” he said.

“But to a lot of people it’s just art and that’s how people are seeing it, unfortunately,” Lynch added.

The Christian also told Sunday World that certain music is a danger to society, because musicians are channeling the Devil right before everyone’s eyes.

Lynch also noted that he has personally seen Satanic rituals during his time in the music industry that involved praying over albums to ensure they are successful.

The former Boyzone singer went on to say that he himself has stopped listening to certain music, as he believes that particular beats can have an impact on people.

“When it comes to a lot of the music that’s out there at the moment — more of the hip-hop side of things — there is a lot of hidden Satanic and a lot of evil within them, including down to the beats. It’s very real,” he said.

“Music attaches to your emotions,” Lynch added, “It has a connection to your spirit and how you feel. That’s why I’ve stopped listening to those types of music myself because it doesn’t suit my spirit.”

Lynch also claimed that certain music is damaging to society in general — especially when it comes to children.

“It 100 per cent has an effect on society,” he said. “I think our society has never been worse in many areas, and it starts from our children.”

“It’s coming in right at our children from the very beginning to get them to sway away from anything Godly, anything controlled or disciplined,” Lynch added. “It’s getting wilder and wilder out there for a reason.”

This is not the first time Lynch has made this type of claim.

Last year, the singer said that Sam Smith and Beyonce are “so demonic it’s unbelievable.”

“When she started to come around, it was privately. She was coming into the stadiums without people really knowing until the camera put, you know, a big spotlight on it,” Merritt revealed on “The Sports Shop with Reese and K-Mac” show.

Swift was first spotted at Arrowhead Stadium during week 3 of the NFL season, when the Chiefs defeated the Chicago Bears.

In an interview with TIME last year, Swift disclosed the timeline of their relationship, admitting she and Kelce were already dating when the cameras caught her supporting him.

“By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple,” Swift explained. “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

Cameras cut to Swift a significant number of times during that game.

Merritt touched upon the negative press Swift garnered throughout the season, sharing why he thought Swift was nothing but a positive influence for the Chiefs.

“Upon meeting her, I felt like she actually added to what it was that we were trying to do. Cause there were so many people that were hating the fact that she was being shown on the TV,” he suggested. “You know what, you’re a part of our family because you’re now with Travis. So therefore, you’re our little sister… whatever it may be. You’re part of [the] family,” he said.

“She actually affected the team in a positive way. It wasn’t a negative way,” he added. “Everybody was excited that Travis was happy. So when my player, my brother, is happy beside me, that helps me and that encourages me and so Travis came in there a different man,” he said of the tight end.

“So, she helped us,” he said, before joking the “Bad Blood” singer had successfully won her first Super Bowl during her first season in the NFL.

Swift has noted in the past that her intention in attending games has never been to be on camera.

“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she told TIME of photographers at the games. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.” Swift added, “I’m just there to support Travis. Taylor Swift sent a private jet to pick up Travis Kelce for her Singapore Eras Tour concert.

Travis Kelce may have landed in Sydney ahead of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concerts that begin today at the Accor Stadium, but will the NFL star be joining the superstar in Singapore as well? Riding high on the victory train after his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, beat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, the 34-year-old tight end seems to be enjoying his time as a supportive boyfriend by taking a private jet across the world to be with her.

Many reports even suggest he will join Taylor for the rest of her Asia and Europe tour. So, what’s the plan for this globetrotting couple?

The world saw Travis and Taylor’s PDA-filled tête-à-tête in Las Vegas after the Kansas City Chiefs lifted the Super Bowl trophy. But Taylor’s presence didn’t come easy. With a show scheduled in Tokyo the night before, the Grammy winner hopped onto her jet just in time to make it for the game.

While Swifties were concerned whether she’d make it or not, Taylor said goodbye to the jet lag and yes to being the most supportive girlfriend. Of course, having your own plane on standby does help! Ed Kelce, Travis’s dad, opened up to People about his impression of Swift post the Super Bowl win

The NFL star’s dad said he’s grown close with Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, and that the two bonded over their love for the NFL. “Scott played college football, so he was right into it. I think he likes that his daughter is dating a football player and not a musician,” Ed added.

Praising Swift, he thanked her for being “probably the most famous person in the world,” and yet, “so warm and gracious” in every meeting and at games. “She loves football so much, and she sets a good example during games. I was so shocked that during the Super Bowl, my buddies and I left some rubbish near us, and when Taylor got up, she stopped and picked it all up and put it in the trash,” Ed shared.

After the celebrations, which saw T n T partying with the Kelce parents, Taylor was once again off to perform in Melbourne, Australia. Travis took a breather from this show and decided to stay back in Las Vegas. Soon after, the footballer was spotted playing golf at the Wynn Las Vegas, where he was a part of a celebrity exhibition match. Golf isn’t the only thing taking up Kelce’s time post the Super Bowl. News of him joining as the executive producer for the film, My Dead Friend Zoe, has also been doing the rounds. The movie’s summary aligns perfectly with Kelce’s comedic tastes with the film being characterised as a darkly humorous drama focusing on a US Army veteran, her deceased best friend whom she struggles to part with, and her distant grandfather. Ed Harris, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Natalie Morales not only lead the cast but also serve as executive producers, sharing the role with Kelce. The film will premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas in March.
