Travis Kelce has detailed his whirlwind trip to Australia to visit his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during her global sold-out Eras Tour.

The three-time Super Bowl champ, 34, revealed that even though he visited Sydney for just 24 hours, his trip Down Under “did not disappoint.”

“It was amazing over there,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said on Wednesday’s “New Heights” podcast episode. “I only went to Sydney — got a lot of friends that I’ve met over the years in Melbourne, definitely want to get out there and see what Melbourne has to offer.”

“Sydney was a beautiful city,” Kelce shared, before detailing his romantic — and very exclusive — trip to the Sydney Zoo with the 14-time Grammy winner.

“It was cool to see all the exotic animals,” the NFL star told newly-retired Jason Kelce. “It was fun, man. There were full-on helicopters just just flying around. This is all because Taylor is the biggest and the best thing possible.”

The duo took in the Australian wildlife during a private tour of the park and even hand-fed some of the kangaroos and met koalas during their wholesome day out.

“Tell you what though, the kangaroos are pretty sweet and I got to see a red panda up close and personal,” Kelce shared.

He spent that evening watching his famous girlfriend rock out on stage at Sydney’s 82,000-seat Accor Stadium.

“And then we got to enjoy the Taylor Swift show,” Kelce said on the podcast. “Australians are pretty rowdy, they like to have a good time. I like to have a good time.”

“They were just a little bit louder than the Argentina crowd. And I was not expecting that. Taylor’s very fond of performing in Australia,” he said.

At the concert, Kelce was seen waving and high-fiving excited Swifties while walking through the crowd to get to his VIP tent.

He was later seen singing along to Swift’s songs alongside Katy Perry and Rita Ora, who were also watching the show from the VIP tent.

Kelce was seen hopping on a flight back to home soil the following morning before heading to Las Vegas to celebrate the Chiefs’ second-straight Super Bowl win.

The All-Pro tight end then was in attendance — and in tears — during brother Jason’s retirement announcement Monday in Philadelphia.

Swift, for her part, is currently in Singapore and is set to wrap up her shows on March 9 before resuming her global sold-out tour in Paris on May 9.

In the latest episode of The Skip Bayless show, the veteran placed the same argument again. The veteran analyst said he truly believes Burrow is a better QB than Mahomes. Furthermore, he also went on to claim that he can prove his theory.

This is not the first time Bayless has compared the two and has hyped Burrow over Mahomes. He is still deeply influenced by the performances that Burrow had against Mahomes and the Chiefs. With Burrow on their side, the Bengals beat the Chiefs three times in a row. One of the victories came in the AFC Championship Game. It was one of the only three playoff losses in Mahomes’ career.

Considering these factors, Bayless earlier made a prediction. He forecasted that only a healthy Burrow could stop the dream of the Chiefs completing a 3 peat (three consecutive championships). He had only one concern and that was regarding Burrow’s health. Bayless said that Burrow would need to stay healthy to defeat Mahomes.

Taylor Swift is officially part of Chiefs Kingdom, having attended multiple games last season.

The singer, who has been in a relationship with Travis Kelce for several months, is believed to have attended her first game on September 24. The Chiefs beat the Bears 41-10 that night, but folks were more concerned with the celebrity appearance than the result.

A defensive backs coach on the team is claiming that Taylor would secretly attend games and was coming around even before that Bears game.

Coach Dave Merritt was a guest on ‘The Sports Show with Reese and K-Mac’ last week and revealed that the pop star used to attend games privately until the networks caught on.

“When [Taylor] started to come around, it was privately,’ he said (H/T the New York Post). “She was coming into the stadiums without people knowing until the camera put a big spotlight on it.”

It’s possible that Swift was there for the opener against the Lions as the win over Chicago was only the Chiefs’ third game of the season.

Merritt claims she “was coming into the stadiums,” which suggests she attended more than one game before that game everyone believed was her first.

Swift has also revealed that she was with Kelce way before most people knew.

“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” she told TIME in an interview back in December. “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”

Well, there’s no hiding it now.

As expected, the Chiefs were among the teams which applied the franchise tag before Tuesday’s deadline, keeping L’Jarius Sneed off the free-agent market in the process. The standout corner is far from certain to remain in Kansas City, though, as a tag-and-trade maneuver is on the table.

Sneed has served as a full-time starter for nearly his entire Chiefs tenure (70 regular and postseason games), developing into a key member of the team’s vaunted secondary. The tag will cost $19.8M in 2024, though, using up significant cap space on a team already needing a new deal for Chris Jones. The latter is the defending champions’ priority, and a re-up will not come cheaply. A long-term Sneed pact could also approach or reach the $20M-per-year-mark his one-year tender is valued at.

Knowing Sneed could very well be on the trade block, Tyler Dragon of USA Today Sports reports seven teams have emerged as interested suitors. That list consists of the Vikings, Colts, Titans, Patriots, Lions, Falcons and Jaguars. Many of those teams are among those set to have the most spending power ahead of free agency and therefore the ones most capable of absorbing Sneed’s cap hit as it stands while working out a lucrative long-term deal.

Of course, teams like Minnesota, Indianapolis and Jacksonville could see sizable changes to their cap situations in the near future. The Vikings have two of the top pending free agents in Kirk Cousins and Danielle Hunter and meeting the stated objective of retaining both would use up much of their cap space. The Colts and Jags, meanwhile, used their respective franchise tags on wideout Michael Pittman Jr. and edge-rusher Josh Allen Tuesday; long-term deals with either could lower their 2024 cap figures and free up room for an aggressive Sneed pursuit.

The Falcons – presumed to be a strong Cousins suitor – will likely wait until their quarterback addition has been made before authorizing a costly move (in terms of draft capital and finances) like a Sneed acquisition. New England and Tennessee rank second and third in respective cap space as things stand, meaning those teams could outbid other suitors and immediately make a deal for the 27-year-old a priority. Detroit reportedly has cornerback at or near the top of the organization’s offseason to-do list, so a Sneed trade would come as little surprise.

With respect to compensation, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer predicts a second-round pick could be required to convince the Chiefs to green-light a trade. Losing an effective contributor will no doubt induce Kansas City to generate as many bidders as possible and land better draft capital than what a 2025 free-agent departure would yield (a third-round compensatory pick the following year). With free agency one week away, it will be interesting to see how much of a market develops for Sneed if the Chiefs move forward with exploring a trade.

“We envisioned making winning plays day after day. We won countless Super Bowls in our minds before ever leaving the house. And when we weren’t playing we were at the other one’s games.”

The now-retired athlete continued to wipe away tears as he recalled meeting Kylie in a bar and how proud he is to now be the father of three daughters.

“This all brings us here to today where I announce I am retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles,” he said at the end of the speech. “And today I must admit I am officially overrated. Vastly overrated. It took a lot of hard work and determination getting here.”

“Thank you, Philadelphia, from the bottom of my heart,” he concluded. “It has truly been a privilege. You have all been good to me and my family … I don’t know what’s next but I look forward the new challenges and lessons that await.”

Jason was the Eagles’ sixth-round pick in the 2011 draft, and he spent his entire career with the team.

He won a Super Bowl ring in 2018 and has seven Pro Bowls under his belt.

Jason memorably helped lead his team to the 2023 Super Bowl, which the Eagles lost to his brother Travis Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, 38-35.

Speculation that Jason was hanging up his cleats first emerged in January after the Eagles’ season-ending loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He told his teammates in the locker room after the game that he was retiring, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“He has considered retiring after other recent seasons, but this time is said to be real and happening,” the sports reporter tweeted.

According to a report by The U.S. Sun, NFL business insiders said that influential people within the league are “desperate” to book Swift for the Super Bowl LIX halftime show. By their estimates, landing the 14-time Grammy Award winner could net the league over $1 billion:

“The ads could reach a cost of $8.5 million each, an increase of $1 million, or more. This year, it has been estimated that her presence helped generate a lot of money, estimated between $700-750 million. If she is the main artist of next year’s halftime show, it’s expected to generate more than $1.3-1.5 billion.”

The problem, though, is that Super Bowl performers do not really get paid for doing their show. In fact, almost all of them end up losing money by committing to do it. The NFL only pays performers based on the standard union contract, which is $1,000 a day. Performers are sometimes even asked to pay for the privilege to perform, on top of having to pay their crew and everyone else that goes into making their shows a success.

Swift, of course, is a billionaire herself and does not “need” the NFL’s money. However, it stands to reason that she (and any other performer for that matter) may desire a substantial amount more than $1,000 if her performance could bring in $1 billion for the league.
