Travis Kelce traveled to Argentina to see Taylor Swift perform, and she gave him a very handsome reward for it: a lyrical shoutout on stage and an adorable and very public kiss the moment her concert ended Saturday in Buenos Aires.

 

During the show, which Kelce took in from the VIP section with Sabrina Carpenter, Swift changed the lyrics of “Karma” to reference him. She sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” instead of the song’s original Joe Alwyn reference (Swift’s boyfriend at the time Midnights came out), “Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight home to me.”

But by far, the biggest moment going viral is Swift running off stage to kiss Kelce immediately after she finished performing. This is the first video to come out of them kissing:

This is also Kelce’s first time attending Swift’s Eras tour as her partner. He previously went to her concert in Kansas City, Missouri over the summer and later spoke about how he tried to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. Swift and Kelce reportedly met in private later, connected, and ultimately went public with their burgeoning romance in September.

Multiple sources confirmed Kelce’s plans to travel to Buenos Aires this week to NBC News, Page Six, and People. Entertainment Tonight first reported Kelce’s travel plans in mid-October, as Swift’s Argentina shows, her first since her break from tour, fall during the Chiefs’ bye week.

“Travis and Taylor are all in,” the source told Entertainment Tonight on October 19. “The two are very into each other and are enjoying their time together but are also planning for the future. Taylor starts her international tour in November, and Travis is planning to be there to spend time with her. Travis and Taylor are very serious about their careers, and the two bond over that and want to show support for each other whenever they can.”

A source told Us Weekly on October 20 that Swift and Kelce were really falling for each other. “They’re really happy,” the source said. “They’re not saying they’re in love yet. But it’s obvious to her friends they’re heading in that direction.”

“He’s going to see her when she’s back on tour,” the source added. “That’s already planned. And when she gets a break, she’ll see him. It’s going so well because it’s easy, and nothing is complicated.”

The NWSL’s Kansas City Current and its ownership group—headlined by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany—had a Saturday to remember.

 

The Current opened the 2024 season on Saturday in the brand-new CPKC Stadium, a soccer field with a capacity of 11,500 fans that is the first stadium built specifically to host women’s professional sports in the United States.

Kansas City came out firing, grabbing a 5–2 lead over the Portland Thorns and hanging on for a 5–4 victory to earn three points in the standings.

The Mahomes family, watching from a suite, were loving every minute of it.

“It’s been remarkable to be in this stadium and see the fans. I feel like I’m at Arrowhead,” Patrick Mahomes said before the game, via ESPN. “That’s the type of vibe I’m having here.”

Brittany Mahomes, who played collegiate soccer at the University of Texas at Tyler, bought a stake in the franchise along with Angie and Chris Long in December 2020. Patrick Mahomes joined the ownership group himself in 2023.

“I’ve seen the talent that they showcase every single game,” Patrick Mahomes told ESPN. “We wanted to build a stadium to match that talent. To have it here in Kansas City as the first women’s-specific, women’s only stadium, I think it’s the start of something that will take off throughout the rest of the world.”

Bia Zaneratto, Vanessa DiBernardo, Ellie Wheeler, Kristen Hamilton and Alexandra Pfeiffer scored goals for Kansas City. Pfeiffer became the youngest goal scorer in NWSL history at 16 years and four months old.

The Current return to the pitch March 23 to battle the San Diego Wave at Snapdragon Stadium.

 

 

 

Travis Kelce flew allll the way to Sydney to watch Taylor Swift perform in her Eras Tour, and I think we can all agree it was everything (mostly because she ran straight into his arms for a post-show kiss).

But it seems as though Travis flew all the way across the world for only two days because he wasn’t spotted at Taylor’s next three shows in Sydney—and was instead seen partying in Las Vegas on Saturday night (February 24).

But before you read into things, a reminder that 1) Travis has work commitments just like Tay, so it’s possible he had to head back to the States for an obligation, and 2) he was seen dancing to Taylor’s song “Love Story” in Vegas:

Those close to the football star — including several ex-girlfriends — are exclusively telling In Touch about Travis’ wild side. Taylor, 34, “may be in for a shock,” says the source, noting that Travis has downplayed past mistakes and hasn’t exactly stopped flirting with other women since they met eight months ago. “He’s in love with Taylor, but there’s a side to him that she doesn’t know about.”

She might want to start by checking his DMs. Travis, 34, “was using social media to meet women and flying them out to see him before he met Taylor. He was stealthy about it, so no one really knew,” says the source. “And even after he and Taylor began seeing each other, he was still liking women’s photos on IG — models, singers like Coco Jones, influencers like Dixie D’Amelio. It definitely makes the story of how they met a little less romantic!”

Ulterior Motives?

Taylor wasn’t even the first celebrity in his sights. “Travis reached out to Megan Thee Stallion to try his luck with her,” says the source, adding that though Travis and the 29-yearold rapper were later spotted hanging out at the 2023 CMT Awards in April, he was rejected. “It seems like once he became more famous and well known, he was trying to hook up with bigger celebrities.”

Is that why he targeted Taylor? “I question the genuineness of the relationship because he’s been talking to the media a lot. I feel like Travis is a narcissist,” says Maya Benberry who was the winner of his 2016 dating show, Catching Kelce. She’s also accused him of being unfaithful, because he began a five-year romance with sports journalist Kayla Nicole around the time of their split after eight months together in 2017. “Once a cheater, always a cheater,” she warns Taylor.

But Maya’s fellow contestants have defended Travis. “To be honest, I think he probably was already dating [Kayla] before the show, and maybe he wasn’t 100 percent with Maya,” runner-up Veronica Harwood tells In Touch, blaming his immaturity for the indiscretion.

But both she and fellow finalist Avery Schlereth point out that all of the women knew what they were signing up for when it comes to dating shows. “A lot of people went on to have fun,” Avery tells In Touch, “and if something came out of it, that was great, and if not, it was a fun experience.”

Neither of them has any hard feelings. “He’s a goofball, he’s sweet, he’s very attentive and he was a good kisser!” gushes Avery. Veronica seconds that: “I mean, who doesn’t want to kiss a 6-foot-4 burly football player?!” she says, adding that they had a few amazing dates. “He’s definitely a jokester, and he wants to have a good time.”

How did you do that?’ he even called him ‘magical at one point. Kelce then asks his girlfriend: ‘How do you not have jet lag right now?’

Swift responds: ‘Jet lag is a choice’. She then walks off as Kelce goes off into the crowd to celebrate elsewhere. Taylor flew almost 5,500 miles to be in Vegas for the Super Bowl last weekend, after wrapping up the latest leg of her Eras Tour in Tokyo on the Friday. She then flew to Los Angeles on the Saturday, heading to her California property and spending the night there before making the final journey to Vegas on the day of the Super Bowl.

The music megastar rocked up at Allegiant Stadium alongside celebrity pals Blake Lively and Ice Spice, before they joined the likes of Jason and Kylie Kelce in their VIP suite at the game. Kelce then helped the Chiefs get the better of the 49ers in the dying seconds of overtime, which crowned Kansas City the first back-to-back champions for almost 20 years.

However, the team’s victory parade back in Kansas City descended into tragedy on Wednesday after two gunmen opened fire, leaving one dead and 21 injured. Fans were left fleeing for their lives after the gunshots rang out at Union Station, before some of them were seen heroically tackling an armed man to the ground. Police said two gunmen were detained, although their identities remain unclear.

 

 

 

Koala’s are the newest gym inspiration, thanks to a viral challenge. Even professional athletes are now taking tips from the bamboo-eating marsupials.

 

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes did the Koala Challenge with his wife and fitness trainer, Brittany Matthews. And their first attempt is actually incredibly impressive.

The challenge involves one person climbing around another person’s waist, then scaling over their head and between their lengths to complete another full rotation. It clearly involves a lot of finessing, strength and problem-solving for both parties.

In their attempt, Matthews has no problem circling around Mahomes’ waist—aside from an accidental kick to the balls. Matthews then clumsy climbs over Mahomes’ head, making it to the dreaded upside-down position. And that’s when it all goes to hell.

Matthews tries to climb through Mahomes’ legs without touching the ground, but it’s clearly a fight. Matthews almost makes it, but falls after several seconds of trying to figure out how to pop up.

The Koala Challenge has been circulating on social media since early 2019 as a fitness feat either done with a partner or on a flat exercise bench. But as wildfires devastated Australia in late 2019, the challenge became a way to raise money for relief efforts.
