Drake’s son Adonis was given a special gift by favorite basketball player LaMelo Ball that made NBA fans jealous

LaMelo Ball, the standout guard for the Charlotte Hornets, surprised Adonis Graham, the son of artist Drake, who has won five Grammy Awards, with a unique gift on Sunday.

NBA fans were disappointed by his inadvertent exclusion of Adonis’ friend, though.

Before the Hornets’ away game against the Toronto Raptors, Adonis and his companion were invited inside the locker room to see Ball.

Because of the six-year-old’s well-established admiration for the former All-Star, Ball had a signed jersey ready for him in his locker.

But as the 22-year-old pointed out, he didn’t have anything to give his friend because he thought the meet-and-greet would only be with Adonis.

“Little man, what’s up y’all? What’s up Adonis, you good? … I got a little present for you, man,” Ball said. “A little something, something. Little jersey gang. I didn’t know your partner was gonna be with you.”While Adonis was grateful for the gift, his friend looked on in apparent disappointment. Afterward, Ball took photos with Adonis and his new jersey.

ImageImageImageImageDespite only being six, Adonis is a longtime fan of LaMelo Ball, and the Hornets star has sent him a gift in the past. However, Sunday marked his first time meeting his favorite player.

Stephen Curry’s All-Star shoe choice this year is a safe but interesting one.

Back in 2018, Under Armor designed this “Curry Jam” colorway for Steph to use at the 3-point shooting contest and the All-Star game. But due to injury, Curry was unable to play and wear the Curry colorway. 4 must be “stored”.

Now it has officially reappeared on Stephen Curry’s feet, transformed into a Flowtro version with new technologies in 2024.

On Saturday, Los Angeles Lakers fans erupted around the Crypto.com Arena as LeBron became the first player in NBA history to reach 40,000 career points, during their game against the Denver Nuggets.

LeBron’s 40,000th point came early in the second quarter and was followed by a standing ovation for the four-time MVP.

Unfortunately, the evening’s excitement was dulled somewhat with the Lakers ultimately losing 124-114 to the reigning Champions.

Despite this, LeBron and Savannah took the opportunity to enjoy a night out together in celebration of his momentous achievement.

Wearing white shoes, pants, and a T-shirt, LeBron paired these with a denim jacket, a white beanie, and a selection of jewelry, as he headed out to dinner in his vintage green soft-top Ford Bronco.

By his side was Savannah, wearing an all-blue coat and pant combo, paired with a bandanna and white shoes.

Having squeezed himself into the Bronco, the 6-foot-9 NBA legend headed out for dinner at Nobu in Malibu, California.

Later, LeBron and Savannah made their way to SoHo House, overlooking the Pacific.

Savannah has been by LeBron’s side throughout his career, having first met as 16-year-olds in Ohio.

They have since had three children together, LeBron ‘Bronny’ James Jr., 19, Bryce Maximus, 16, and Zhuri Nova, nine.

And while LeBron has long been cemented as one of the all-time greats of the NBA, it seems the family name may not leave the league any time soon.

USC star guard Bronny is reportedly weighing his options at the moment, as he debated returning to the Trojans for another season versus declaring for the Draft.

His decision will come down to the interest from specific teams, rather than any draft projections, as per his father’s agent, Rich Paul, via ESPN.

“I don’t value a young player getting into the lottery as much as I do getting him on the right team in the right developmental situation,” he said.

Paul added that Bronny joining LeBron on a roster is not a requirement.

That being said, understandably, LeBron would be “head over heels excited if that were to happen organically.”

Serious Accusations: Kevin Garnett Claims LeBron James Used Forbidden Substances in His Professional Career.

KG made serious accusations against LeBron James.

LeBron James continues to set records and just a few days ago became the first player in NBA history to surpass the 40,000-point barrier, further bolstering his case to be considered the GOAT of basketball.

Still in his 40s, LeBron is still playing at a high level and the Los Angeles Lakers small forward continues to have his detractors too, with now a legendary former player making some pretty explosive statements about ‘the King’.

It’s Garnett, who on an episode of his podcast ‘KG CERTIFIED w/ Kevin Garnett’ was arguing with former Boston Celtics teammate Paul Pierce about the prospect of LeBron‘s son Bronny James making it to the NBA in the next draft.

    Garnett accused LeBron of doping?

Garnett and Pierce got into an argument over whether Bronny James could beat his father in a 1v1 game, with KG saying that LeBron is ‘using that new BALCO stuff’, without offering any further context or clues to these claims.

The company Garnett is referring to is the Bay Area Laboratory Co-operative, better known by its acronym BALCO, which was shut down in 2003 after a scandal was uncovered in which the lab clandestinely supplied performance-enhancing drugs to professional athletes.

Among those implicated were MLB’s all-time home run leader Barry Bonds, legendary NFL linebacker Bill Romanowski, among other high-profile athletes in various American sports.

LeBron James Displays Team Spirit: Rocks Liverpool Shirt at Los Angeles Lakers Game Despite Ankle Injury.

LeBron James was ruled out of the Los Angeles Lakers’ contest against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday due to an ankle injury – but he was in attendance and watched from the bench

NBA superstar LeBron James showed his support for Liverpool by wearing their shirt to a Los Angeles Lakers game.

James was unable to play on Friday due to an ankle injury that has been troubling him throughout the season. Despite this, he still attended the game in Los Angeles against the Milwaukee Bucks and watched from the sidelines.

He wore a jersey from his new fashion collection with Liverpool, the club in which he has a minority stake. The collection, called “LeBron James @kingjames X Liverpool FC @liverpoolfc Chapter 2”, was launched on Wednesday.

James, along with Liverpool’s captain Virgil van Dijk and other team members, modelled the new clothes on the club’s Instagram page. Last year, James became a partner of Fenway Sports Group, the owners of Liverpool.

James even sent a video message to Van Dijk to congratulate him on becoming the team’s new captain last summer. “VVD, my guy, I hope you’re well,” he said. “I just want to say a huge congratulations on taking the armband this season. I know you will lead this club on amazing things. Strive for greatness. You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

Van Dijk responded: “The King, isn’t it? The King has spoken. Nice to have this on, let’s rock and roll.”

James watched a thrilling game on Friday, as Lakers star D’Angelo Russell scored the winning shot with just six seconds left to secure a 123-122 victory. The win was sealed when Spencer Dinwiddie blocked Damian Lillard’s step-back jumper just before the buzzer.

Lakers defeated the Bucks on Friday night.

Russell, 28, scored an impressive 44 points, with 21 of those in the last quarter, helping his team towards a crucial win in the playoff race. “On the floor, I’ve always felt like I was capable of doing things, [and] getting hot makes it a little more exciting,” Russell said.

“Off the floor, obviously you all know what I’ve been through. Public humiliation has done nothing but mold me into the killer that you all see today.

“I never lack confidence. I never fear confrontation. I want all the smoke… I just feel confident in what I bring to the basketball game, so whatever room I walk in, I’m confident.”

A Night to Remember: Star-Studded Mashups at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party featuring LeBron James, Russell Wilson, and Many Others.

There were so many stars on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscars party Sunday night that there was a line for them to get in front of the cameras.

While waiting, one boomer guest got a text from someone already inside.

“It’s a real vibe,” she said, reading the message off her phone to her husband next to her. “What’s that mean?” she asked.

“I think it’s good? It’s good,” he translated. “Like, it’s a good vibe!”

Meanwhile, legendary film director Steven Spielberg was escorted in by his publicist. “No pictures,” he told her, meaning he’d bypass the logjam and head straight into the venue to enjoy the star-studded bash.

And inside, the party was more than a “real vibe.”

Guests couldn’t help but notice the NBA star, clad in a dapper ensemble.

Where else but the Vanity Fair Oscars party could a guest spot “Star Wars” guru J.J. Abrams standing next to cult movie auteur John Waters, while Beck bonded with Judd Apatow over comedy and “Schitt’s Creek” star Catherine O’Hara stood at the bar beside LeBron James.

On a night where one top agent surveyed the party and wondered aloud whether there were any “real” movie stars left in Hollywood – as fragmentation and uncertainty dog showbiz – the Vanity Fair guest who exerted the most wattage in the room was James.

Literally larger than life as he towered above the bash, the NBA legend lit up the place in a pair of oversized shades, white dinner jacket with a gold brooch on the chest pocket and Tom Cruise-levels of charismatic energy.

The Lakers star was sipping champagne and holding court with a squad that included Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, NBA teammate Anthony Davis and sports agent Rich Paul.

Paul was at the party without his significant other (and oft-rumored wife), Adele, as the former Oscar winner has said she’s resting from an illness. The singer postponed her Las Vegas residency until later this month amid her ongoing recovery.

Speaking of Vegas residencies, Kylie Minogue was at the party between shows at the Venetian’s Voltaire — and told Page Six that her Sin City audience never sits down, even though the place is stocked with comfy, stuffed seats.

Other pop cultural pairings at the Vanity Fair party, hosted by editor Radhika Jones, were less taxing to process as the proceedings went well past midnight.

Kim Kardashian was seen animatedly talking to Lindsay Lohan before the reality star later left with rumored love interest Odell Beckham Jr.

HBO star Larry David schmoozed with the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery David Zaslav.

Meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth hung with close pal Matt Damon at the bash that featured a new 10,000-square-foot layout this year with a 𝑠e𝑥y dark red theme to mark the glam event’s 30th anniversary.

“Saltburn” star Barry Keoghan led singer girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter by the hand through the party after they made their red carpet debut earlier Sunday night.

Cardi B was trailed by a stylist who held the train of her dress for her as Usher, Sydney Sweeney, Jeff Bezos, Jodie Foster and Nathan Fielder were also in a swirl of stars and VIPs.

Barry Keoghan slipped into something more comfortable at the bash.

Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter made their debut as a couple.

Jon Hamm was seen dancing with his new wife, Anna Osceola, and hanging with John Mulaney.

Mulaney’s girlfriend, Olivia Munn, decided to go barefoot at the bash, including in an outdoor area, where food was served up by In-N-Out Burger and Beverly Hills eatery Funke.

At the end of the night, valets called out the names of stars to come get their cars, and a stand was set up with coffee and donuts where waiting guests included Jessica Alba, Billie Eilish, Adrien Brody and Saweetie.

Inside the Failed Trade Talks: LeBron James Opens up about Golden State’s Shock Move for Lakers Star.

LeBron James has broken his silence on talks over a possible trade to the Warriors, revealing that he only found out about them when reports emerged in the media.

ESPN recently claimed that Golden State made a failed bid to add James to the fold ahead of last week’s NBA trade deadline.

Speaking ahead of the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, James said: ‘It didn’t go far at all. I actually heard about it when everybody else talked about it.

He told TNT: ‘Sometimes there are conversations happening behind closed doors that you don’t even know about.

‘And until I guess if it’s real or not, then they’ll bring it to you. But it never even got to me so I heard about it when the reports dropped as well.’

LeBron James has broken his silence on talks over a possible trade to Golden State

A move to the Warriors would have seen James join his long-time rival Stephen Curry (right)

James’ agent, Rich Paul, insisted following the revelations that his client remains ‘committed’ to the purple and gold. ‘He’s committed to the Lakers,’ Paul said on the Stephen A. Smith Show .

‘(Owner) Jeanie (Buss) has been an incredible partner for him and us. And I think it’s important for that to be understood and to be respected. Obviously there’s ups and downs and emotions throughout the course of a season, but ultimately LeBron’s committed to the Lakers.’

It was claimed that Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. wasn’t the only NBA executive to make a run at the 39-year-old James last week.

Philadelphia’s Daryl Morey also made an offer for the Lakers captain but, according to ESPN, Lakers GM Rob Pelinka not only refused, but countered by asking Morey if he’d be interested in trading reigning MVP, Joel Embiid.

Morey also reportedly inquired about the Suns’ Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, none of whom were made available by Phoenix.

Sixers president Daryl Morey also reportedly made a failed attempt to land James

A move to the Warriors would have seen James join his long-time rival Stephen Curry by the Bay.

James and Curry were already tethered to each other in the minds of NBA fans after meeting in four consecutive NBA Finals from 2015 to 2018.

Curry’s Warriors won three of the series, while James’ Cleveland Cavaliers came back from a 3-1 deficit to stun Golden State in 2016.

Since then, James has won a title with the Lakers while Curry added his fourth crown in 2022 when the Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals.

This year, however, both James and Curry find themselves on the periphery of the Western Conference playoff picture.

Fans try to decode LeBron James’ viral interaction with Jeanie Buss & Linda Rambis

LeBron James making the headlines away from the basketball court is very rare. Every time he has been in the news off the basketball court, it has been either his business venture or his philanthropy. However, this time, the LA Lakers superstar player caught the media and the fans’ attention for his viral interaction with Jeanie Buss & Linda Rambis.

James, who was out in the Lakers game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, sat courtside cheering his teammates. Also present in the building were Lakers President Jeanie Buss and Special Project Executive Linda Rambis, wife of Kurt Rambis.

During a timeout, LeBron James got up from his seat and went to exchange pleasantries with Buss and Rambis. For a brief time that James sat between Buss and Rambis, the moment went viral on the internet. During the interaction, James said something that made both Buss and Rambis laugh hard, while Buss also put her head on his shoulder.

Ashley Nicole Moss, the NBA host for CBS Sports, revealed what James had said which drew affectionate laughter from both ladies.
“first of all, happy International Women’s day,” James said according to Moss. She also candidly remarked, “well played, LeBron.”
The clip of LeBron James’ interaction with Jeanie Buss and Linda Rambis has gone viral, attracting viral comments from NBA fans. It was not only fans who were going frenzy over the video.

Former NFL player Antonio Brown tweeted an edited picture of James between two women and captioned the post, “He got Game 2.”

Jeanie Buss confirms that Lakers will retire LeBron James’ Lakers jersey

LeBron James has had a legendary career so far and continues to amaze while he is playing his 21st NBA season at age 39. Despite being at an age where most NBA players retire to pursue the next chapter of their lives, the four-time NBA champion continues to play at an elite level.\

James has played for three teams in his career, with his home team the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Miami Heat and the LA Lakers. At this point, it is pretty much given that every team will retire his jersey.

Earlier, in July last year, Lakers Prescient Jeanie Buss told Sportskeeda that the Lakers would retire James’ jersey when he is inducted into the Hall of Fame.
“The standard for having your jersey retired as a Laker is when a player is inducted into the Hall-of-Fame,” Buss said via Sportskeeda.

“I have absolutely no doubt that LeBron will make it into the Basketball Hall-of-Fame. When he does so, then we will retire his jersey. Knowing that he will make it into the Basketball Hall-of-Fame, he will have his Lakers jersey retired, no doubt about it,” Buss added.
James won his fourth championship with the Lakers and pretty much revived the Lakers’ glory. Even though he hasn’t been very successful with the Lakers as compared to other teams that he has been on, he has surely made them valued in the West. This season, the Lakers behind LeBron James won the first-ever In-Season Tournament.
