Singer and songwriter Tems has gone viral for wearing an enormous headpiece at the 2023 Oscars – which left audience members who sat behind her unable to see the stage.

Tems, 27 – who co-wrote Rihanna‘s Academy Award-nominated song Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – has caused quite the stir online thanks to her bizarre choice of clothing at the star-studded event.

The artist opted for a dramatic white dress with a long train and huge shoulder piece that wrapped around her head when she attended the coveted awards show, which took place at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California, on Sunday evening.
