Kim Kardashian Showcases North Wearing Her Simba Costume Despite ‘Nepo Baby’ Claims

Kim Kardashian is proudly displaying her daughter North West as Simba in the live rendition of The Lion King, despite nepo baby claims.

The show, which was filmed in two parts over the Memorial Day weekend at the Hollywood Bowl, featured the 10-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as Simba.

The sing-a-long was created for Disney’s 30th anniversary celebration of the beloved film and incorporates pieces from the original film, the Broadway musical, and the 2019 live-action film.

Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West shifts to acting in major Disney role

After a clip of North performing I Just Can’t Wait to Be King went viral on TikTok, viewers slammed her performance and questioned how she could have earned the role, saying “she wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t who her parents were.”

While fans are convinced that North landing the starring role is suspicious due to her parents’ superstar status, Kim still proudly boasted about her daughter’s accomplishments.

The images that were uploaded by the reality star Tuesday morning showed North posing in her costume, which was designed by ERL for the tween, and were paired with a lion emoji for the caption.

Just hours following the post, an inside source spilled to Daily Mail about Kim’s connections with the producers of the event.

According to the source, North didn’t have to “compete against anyone else” for the part, which came as a result of her family’s ties with the production company behind the event.
