SHOCK: Taylor Swift and her band were accused by Dave Grohl of “lip-syncing” on the Eras Tour stage….
Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour has dominated the global music scene for more than a year now, breaking world records and packing tens of thousands of fans into huge stadiums almost every month.
Yet while the queen of pop has been flooded with five star reviews, one of her peers from the industry appears to have been less impressed, making a pointed jab at the singer.
Foo Fighters legend Dave Grohl hit out at the American superstar this weekend, suggesting that Swift, 34, does not sing live throughout her long show.
Joking with his crowd, the band had dubbed their tour the ‘errors’ tour – quipping that his band had ‘few more eras and more than a few f***ing errors’ because they ‘actually play live’.
While Grohl, 55, claimed that he did not ‘want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift’ the billionaire singer made a point last night while playing her third sold out tour at Wembley Stadium to thank her band for playing ‘live’ for three and a half hours.

Dave Grohl insinuates Taylor Swift doesn’t perform live
‘They deserve this so much and so does every one of my fellow performers, and you just gave that to us so generously. We’ll never forget it.’
It has put the Seattle-born band, that was formed in 1994, at loggerheads with Swift, who began as a country singer releasing her first album in 2008 at just 16-years-old.
While the success of the Foo Fighters has continued for decades – with the band holding 10 worldwide tours and selling over 30 million records – solo artist Swift has eclipsed their long-running stardom.
There are estimated to be more than 100 million Swifties across the world – with 50 million adults claiming to be fans of the singer in the US alone. Meanwhile the Foo Fighters clan have more than 27 million fans across the globe.

While Grohl has a staggering net worth of $320 million alone, it is just a fraction of the huge sum Swift has amassed through her vast retail portfolio and high-grossing world tour.
Swift, who started her career 14 years after the Foo Fighters, has also made 12 number one hits in less than two decades – just one more than the rock bands 11 number ones.
The Foo Fighters have performed in more than 10 worldwide tours so far, compared with Swift’s six tours.
Each month around 22.7 million listeners tune in to listen to the Foo Fighters compared to more than 100 million for Swift.
Meanwhile, the pop princess has a whopping 284 million Instagram followers compared with the Foo Fighters 5.6 million.
Grohl and the Foo Fighters are currently on their Everything or Nothing at All Tour across the UK.
On Saturday night, the group played at London Stadium, following a warm-up act by up and coming indie band Wet Leg.
Joking around with the London crowd, Grohl said: ‘We were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier. I know that she’s on her ‘errors’ tour.
‘I tell you man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift. So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour.

‘We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f***ing errors as well. Just a couple.’
The band leader went on to clarify ‘that’s because we actually play live. What?’.
As the crowd erupted in applause he said: ‘Just saying. You guys like raw live rock ‘n’ roll music right? You came to the right f***ing place!’
Foo Fighters fans and Swifties have also gone head to head online – with one noting a rock band making comments about pop stars is ‘a tale old as time’, while Swifties questioned if Grohl had ever done anything ‘revolutionary’.
Some Swifties online responded to Grohl’s comments about Swift’s tour, with one writing: ‘Oh Tayvoodoo is coming for him and he deserves it. Can’t handle that a woman is more talented and successful.’
Another added: ‘Wow Grohl so washed he has to use Taylor’s name for free pr? Embarrassing thought he was better than that what a shame.’
A third said: ‘Aw. Don’t cry too hard that Dave Grohl is half the man Taylor Swift is.’
The rock band’s fans, however, also hit back, with some calling the whole discourse ‘lame’.

One wrote: ‘Absolutely loved the way Dave Grohl grounded Swift. It was about time.’
Another said: ‘Dave Grohl made a comment about Taylor Swift performing with backing tracks while they do it all live and Swifties are trying to say that him and the Foo Fighters are irrelevant and nobodies.’
‘I like Taylor Swift’s music but christ this Dave Grohl discourse is lame,’ a third said. ‘A dude ina rock band making comments about one of the biggest pop acts in the world is a tale as old as time.
‘Likely just a silly drunk quip from Dave, and Taylor’s too big to give a s***. Chill out.’
Despite the jab made at Swift, the pair have previously been on good terms with Grohl praising Swift for the decision to re-record her albums to allow her to won the master recordings.
Grohl also once spoke of how he was ‘saved’ by Swift after she assisted him while performing at a party held by Sir Paul McCartney.
Last night, Swift continued her string of sold-out shows in the UK, performing her third night at Wembley Stadium.

She wowed fans when her American football star boyfriend Travis Kelce joined her to perform on stage.
It is the first time the pair have ever appeared on stage together, after officially announcing their relationship on Instagram on Friday.
The Kansas Chief’s star joined Swift onstage for a costume change before the song I Can Do It With a Broken Heart – sending fans into a frenzy once again.
The athlete was dressed up in a white bow tie, tailcoat and top hat. He picked Taylor up, fanned her and powdered her face as part of the act.
Before Taylor carried on with her performance, she made sure to blow a kiss to her NFL beau, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Swift has wrapped her UK tours for now, continuing with the rest of her European leg before making a return to London in the middle of August.
The Eras tour will come to an end when she performs in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8.
