Joseph Quinn has a story for the Swifties.

The A Quiet Place: Day One actor, 30, recalled the ‘cringe’ moment of meeting Taylor Swift, 34, for the first time and the ‘f*****g stupid’ thing he said to the songbird.

When asked by host Josh Horowitz during an appearance on his Happy Sad Confused podcast if he’s had any embarrassing moments since becoming famous, one particular encounter came to mind.

‘I met Taylor Swift once, and I said, “You’re Taylor Swift.” She was very funny,’ Joseph recalled on Monday’s episode.

The Grammy winner then acknowledged the actor’s work on Stranger Things when he played Eddie Munson in season 4.

‘She said something nice about like the show,’ Joseph continued, ‘and I said, “Oh, thanks. You’re Taylor Swift. I mean it as a compliment.”‘

Josh laughed at the banter, pointing out that it is indeed a compliment.

Joseph responded, ‘It’s definitely a compliment, and I remember thinking like that was f*****g stupid. But she was very good-humored about it.’

As for where the celebrities stand now? As the Gladiator II star joked, the two are still on ‘great terms’ and he will be featured on Taylor’s next album.

‘We are just trying to figure it out,’ Joseph quipped before admitting that no, Taylor has not ‘reached out’ about a musical collaboration.

Although the Dickensian alum didn’t reveal where he met the pop star, fans may remember that Joseph’s Stranger Things costar Sadie Sink (who played Max) starred in Taylor’s short film All Too Well in 2021.

At the time, the artist penned a touching tribute to the 22-year-old for Entertainment Weekly’s 2022 Entertainers of the Year honors.

‘Sadie Sink is a remarkable presence on screen, on stage, and on set. While watching the monitors during the filming of the short film we made together, I often found myself transfixed by the effortlessness and complexity of her performance. ‘Chances are high. I love those guys! I’d love to say hello,’ Joseph told Entertainment Tonight last month. ‘I’m sure they’re working very hard to land the plane. It’s been a long time that they’ve been working on that, so I’m really delighted that they’re kind of getting towards the end, and they’re having a nice time. I’m sure they’re gonna deliver it in a pretty epic way.’

He added, ‘I have no doubts.’

But along with starring on the streaming platform, Joseph has made his way to the Marvel Universe, landing the role of Johnny Storm, a.k.a. The Human Torch, in the upcoming Fantastic Four film.

In fact, he leaned on his A Quiet Place: Day One costar Lupita Nyong’o for advice before the project starts.

‘She said that I’m going to have a blast and enjoy it,’ he shared with People. ‘She was very helpful when I was considering all of that stuff. She’s obviously part of that world and spoke about her experience with a lot of fondness, so it was encouraging.’

Joseph will follow in the footsteps of Chris Evans, 43, and Michael B. Jordan, 37, who have both portrayed Johnny Storm.

50 Cent Accuses Female Radio Host Suing Him of ‘Harassment’ and Looking For ‘Quick Settlement’

50 Cent slammed the female radio host suing him for demanding he appear for a deposition within days of filing her lawsuit — and asked the court to shut down her request for sanctions, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, 50 Cent [real name: Curtis Jackson] fired back at Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain’s recent motion to compel him to sit for a deposition.

In her filing, Bryhana accused 50 Cent, 48, and his team of failing to give her available dates for the rapper to be deposed. She said her team proposed June 13 but the depo never took place.

Bryhana demanded sanctions in the amount of $5,000.

In his newly filed response, 50 scoffed at the radio host’s claims.

50 Cent’s lawyer argued, “[Bryhana] has been on a rush agenda to unreasonably demand all depositions and discovery be fully completed within the first three months since serving the operative complaint.”

He added, “[50] was only served with the operative complaint approximately two months ago (April 16, 2024), has an extremely busy schedule with contractual commitments, events and projects, resides in Texas, and has made reasonable and good-faith efforts to provide an in-person deposition date in Los Angeles.”

50 Cent said he provided a date in September to be deposed.

He added, “Thus, for plaintiff to start requesting an in-person deposition date for Defendant Jackson one day after substituted service is nothing more than a means of harassment and an attempt to obtain a tactical advantage; it has no relation to legitimate needs of this litigation beyond Plaintiff’s desire for a quick settlement.”

Further, the attorney claimed, “[Bryhana] refuses to travel back to California (airfare paid) for a neuropsych exam even though Plaintiff was just in California for her deposition.” He added, “[Bryhana’s] extremely early efforts to obtain [50 Cent’s] deposition constitute an abusive litigation tactic designed to put pressure on Defendant G-Unit Touring and [50 Cent].”

50 Cent asked for Bryhana’s motion to be denied completely. As In Touch previously reported, Bryhana sued the rapper in January over an incident that went down at his August 2023 show at the Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles. In her complaint, the radio host claimed she watched 50 Cent throw his microphone after he realized it wasn’t working.

She claimed the microphone hit her in the face and wrist. Bryhana claimed she suffered severe and permanent injuries. In her suit, her lawyer claimed Bryahana suffered a concussion, a forehead laceration and bruises to her body. The radio host said the incident caused her to suffer emotional distress.

Her lawsuit demanded unspecified damages.

After the lawsuit was filed, 50 Cent’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, denied his client “intentionally” hit the radio host.

 

“Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis [’50 Cent’ Jackson] would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone,” the lawyer said. “Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed,” he added.

A police report was filed but the LAPD decided against bringing charges. A source told In Touch that 50 Cent was throwing the equipment down into the area designated as the “pit” and the crowd was not supposed to be in the “pit.” An insider said the rapper was not targeting anybody and believed nobody was in the restricted area.

A judge has yet to rule on the matter.

Tom Brady zinged Kanye West on Sunday at his celebrity roast, garnering an awkward response from the musical artist’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Brady, 46, referenced West, 46, when delivering his response at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles to the many celebs who roasted him at the event Sunday, with Kim, 43, being one of them.

‘I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight…not because of this but because her kids are at home with their dad,’ the NFL legend said, leaving the crowd roaring.

‘Kanye about to drop a Tom Brady diss and make y’all forget about Kendrick and Drake,’ one social media user said, referencing the ongoing rivalry between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

Said another person: ‘Do yall think we’ll get a tom brady and kanye feud after this bc one thing about kanye is hes gonna type up a letter on a black screen real quick once it gets back to him.’

Another user said, ‘Tom Brady made a joke about Kim being scared to be at the roast cause her kids were left with Kayne ahh man his next song or IG rant is gonna be insane.’

She appeared to be launching into a joke, telling Hart, ‘I know a lot of people make fun of your height,’ before appearing to do a double take at the outburst from her less than-adoring public.

Kardashian, who sported blonde locks as she held a Champagne glass at the event in Southern California, sought to get the show back on track, saying, ‘Alright, alright, alright, Kevin,’ who himself appeared to jump in to do damage control as he said, ‘Whoa, whoa.’

It’s not the first time Kardashian has received a chilly reception from the public in her own backyard at an event linked to pro football: She was booed by the crowd at a Los Angeles Rams home game at SoFi Stadium against the Dallas Cowboys in October of 2022.

The crowd at the game began heavily booing when the Jumbotron camera panned from singer John Legend to the reality star, who smiled and waved prior to blowing a kiss.

A number of people on Sunday took to social media with real-time reactions to the chilly reception Kardashian received at the comedy event.

‘Kim Kardashian getting booed at the Tom Brady Roast is incredible,’ one user wrote, while another said, THEY JUST BOOED KIM KARDASHIAN BEFORE SHE EVEN SAID A WORD LMFAO.’

The franchise has suffered back-to-back defeats in the post-season tournament. Instead of focusing on the ultimate goal, the Clippers’ owner Steve Ballmer has been fulfilling his team members’ demands. The claim was made by Kendrick Perkins on “NBA Today” after James Harden’s new contract with the franchise.

Following Harden’s signing, the furious ESPN analyst lashed out at Ballmer, saying, “Seriously, what are they doing? Ever since Steve Ballmer took over as far as buying this team, all he’s been doing is paying salaries, paying doctor bills and paying salaries, paying doctor bills and paying construction workers. That’s it. This team has underachieved damn near every single season and they’re never reliable when it comes down to when it matters the most.” He further added the team is not going on the right path.

The franchise reportedly agreed to continue their journey with Harden for another two years worth $70 million, which frustrated Perkins as the 34-year-old couldn’t display his potential in the Clippers’ jersey.

The LA side brought in James Harden last year in the hopes of forming their Big 3 with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. However, their dreams were soon crushed when the guard failed to live up to their expectations.

Looking Back at James Harden’s Season

The Clippers signed James Harden after the 10-time All-Star publicly expressed his desire to move out of the Sixers. But the plan didn’t work well for the team.

The veteran was expected to showcase his brilliance consistently throughout the season. However, his numbers had dropped massively compared to the previous season to 16.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game.

After grabbing fourth place on the Western table, the team couldn’t keep their pace in the playoffs. Following Kawhi’s injury in the early stage of the tournament, the Clippers gave in to the Mavericks in the opening round. However, Harden tried his best by putting up 21.2 points, 8.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds in the 6 games, but it wasn’t enough.

Now with Paul George leaving, Harden has to step up in the upcoming season and lead the team with Kawhi to prove his doubters wrong.
