LeBron James has been linked to several free-agency teams. Yet, the Los Angeles Lakers star has revealed his intention to stay with the Lakers by expressing his willingness to take a pay cut. Nevertheless, reports indicate that LeBron has not taken a pay cut. Rather, he signs a 2-year, $104 million max contract with the Lakers.

This deal includes a no-trade clause and a player option, ensuring James remains with the Los Angeles Lakers until he is 41. The 39-year-old star is about $20 million shy of becoming the first player in league history to surpass $500 million in on-court earnings.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Lakers and James’ agent, Rich Paul, are still discussing James taking approximately $1 million below the maximum to allow for more flexibility in roster building.

Due to a quirk in the NBA salary cap rules, the Lakers cannot offer James a contract longer than three years. Nonetheless, his new deal is enough for the Lakers to build a championship-caliber team.

LeBron James’ new deal follows the news of his son, Bronny James, being drafted in the 2024 NBA Draft. The Lakers legend has often expressed his desire to play alongside Bronny, which is why this draft has become a meaningful moment for both father and son. Reportedly, Bronny plans to sign a multiyear guaranteed rookie contract with the Lakers.

Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce has spilled the beans on one of his favorite meals to cook with Taylor Swift.

Travis Kelce and the Grammy Award-winning singer are closing in on the one-year anniversary of their relationship which has garnered immense coverage and attention worldwide.

Last week, Kelce made headlines when he politely turned down a reporter’s question about what meals he and Swift enjoy cooking together. But the 34-year-old superstar has reversed course by revealing one of his favorite meals for “date night.”

Matt James from “The Batchelor” asked Kelce a series of questions about his favorite meals to make. When asked about his “go-to date night meal”, the three-time Super Bowl champion let the cat out of the bag:

“I just recently found out how to make some home-cooked pasta. Like some actual noodles, home-cooked and everything. So I guess just some noodles with some spicy lemon garlic and shrimp…shrimp linguini.”

Rumors of Travis Kelce’s romance with Taylor Swift began early last season. The legendary music artist essentially confirmed those rumors when she attended the Chiefs’ Week 3 home game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium last year.

Swift ended up attending 13 of the Chiefs’ 2021 games last year (including the playoffs). She was in attendance for all four playoff games, making the trip to Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas, Nevada immediately after performing a concert in Tokyo, Japan.

The Chiefs went on to defeat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime to secure a second straight championship.

If he didn’t miss two games last year, Kelce would have hit 1,000 yards receiving for the eighth straight year. The NFL’s all-time leader in postseason receptions already has a spot locked in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, so anything he accomplishes from here is simply gravy.

Kelce and the Chiefs are looking to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls in NFL history. Their season will open with a Week 1 contest against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 5, a rematch of the AFC Championship Game that KC won 17-10.

Taylor Swift once had bad blood, but now she’s having a burning problem.

The Grammy winner had just finished co-writing a new song with Gracie Abrams this week when a fire suddenly broke out in the kitchen of Swift’s New York City apartment.

Gracie Abrams and Swift released their first song together — “Us,” which appears on Abrams’s sophomore album The Secret of Us. After the song was released, Abrams shared a video of the pair attempting to extinguish a fire started by a fallen candle.

Abrams shared the video on Instagram. One video showed Taylor Swift and Abrams crafting her song “Us” together, and the other showed Swift saying, “I think we’re going to die” before she ultimately put out the blaze from her fallen candle.

“Our purses are ruined,” Swift could also be heard saying as she finally figured out how to use the fire extinguisher, “and our shoes — and the whole room, I think.”

Gracie could hilariously be heard teaching Swift how to tackle a kitchen fire, “You’re going to fire extinguish it. NOT water.”

Jason Kelce and wife Kylie Kelce are enjoying his retirement in huge ways and took it to the next level as they attended Taylor Swift’s Eras tour for the first time during London night one alongside brother Travis Kelce.

Video showed Jason and Kylie with a “stack of friendship bracelets” as they were spotted in a tent watching the show.

Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian are not seeing eye to eye.

In the newest episode of The Kardashians, which dropped at midnight on June 27, Kim and Khloé got into a heated argument about Khloé’s tendency to spend time with her kids and stay at home.

The tension first arose when Kim, 43, confronted her sister to “clear the air” before they jetted off to Aspen, Colorado, for a family trip. To cameras, the SKIMS founder admitted, “Khloé has really been pissing me off lately.”

After accusing Khloé of being “condensing” with her tone and delivery — particularly when it comes to her critique of Kim’s parenting — Khloé hit back and called out her sister for what she thought was displaced anger.

“It sounds like you’re dealing with a bunch of your own bulls— and you decided to harvest this and build up all this animosity towards me, when this is a you f—ing problem,” Khloé, 40, told Kim. “I swear you just wanna project whatever you’re going through and take it out on me, and I can handle it but only for so long. I’m not gonna be here all day, so if you need to slap me or something, do it.”

Khloé continuously insisted she “wasn’t trying to shame” Kim and pointed out that Kim’s comments were all rooted in her “own insecurity.”

But Kim was not convinced as she admitted in a confessional, “Maybe you wouldn’t have such a stick up your a– … if you lived your life a little bit, it’s just crazy. Interact with other human beings beside the children in your family all day long. We’re great, I know, but you need some other human interaction.”

“You need to live your life, you have the world at your finger tips but you go see the world. You won’t let yourself go out there to find someone or even a group of friends,” Kim continued, accusing Khloé constantly FaceTiming her kids whenever she’s actually out with friends and sticking to a “rigid” schedule.

Khloé was hurt by Kim’s comments, admitting she didn’t even want to go on the Aspen trip with the family. She added how Kim is “such a bitch these days” before storming out of the room.

Despite Khloé’s anger, she decided to go on the Aspen trip anyways, telling cameras, “Kim is being a petty little bitch but I didn’t want Kim and her bad attitude and negativity and bitchiness to take away this trip from me and the rest of my family and me hanging out with everybody else.”

But things didn’t get much better once they got to Aspen and settled into their cozy cabin. Over dinner, Khloé’s reluctancy to stay out late and tendency to stick to a “rigid schedule” got brought up again as the two fought once more in front of mom Kris Jenner and sister Kendall Jenner.

“Kim’s just trying to be a bitch right now and that’s something Kim is so good at. If she wants to hurt you, she will go for the jugular,” Khloé added in a confessional.

Ultimately, Kim claimed Khloé was “in denial” about her behavior and doesn’t “realize” how she isn’t living in the moment.

This led Khloé to storm out of the room once more, noting to cameras how the trip “wasn’t getting off to a good start” and she “should’ve left with Kylie [Jenner],” who opted to stay back after experiencing anxiety before taking off.

Swift’s relationship with Kelce was essentially confirmed when she attended the Chiefs’ Week 3 home game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift attended 13 Kansas City games last season, including their victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58.

During his appearance on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast, Kelce revealed that Taylor Swift didn’t want to be spoiled with all of the VIP treatments for her first Chiefs game. Kelce offered his new partner all the security she needed, but Swift wanted to maximize the experience with her family and friends:

“She’s very self-aware. I think that’s why I started to really fall for her, is how genuine she is around friends, family. it can get crazy for somebody with that much attention, and she just keeps it so chill and so cool. And that’s something I can admire for sure.

The first game she came to I was like, ‘I can probably set you up with everything. And she just walked right through the front door. There’s no going down, talking to security. She was like, ‘I just want to be around family and friends and experience this with everybody.’

She got points for that. I was like, ‘Damn, she’s in the madness. She wants to be a part of it and do things like that.’ She really won me over with that.”

The Bears-Chiefs contest drew 24.3 million viewers, and Swift’s presence was surely a reason why. The game itself was a blowout, with the Super Bowl champs defeating the Bears 41-10.

While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, the three-time Super Bowl champion was asked what he and Swift cook together. Though he found the question fascinating, Kelce kindly said he’d prefer not to answer it, per Jared Koller of KCTV5 News:

“That’s a good question. You know, I respect that question, but I’m going to keep that one to myself because, you know, I thoroughly enjoy cooking with her. It’s something I’d rather just keep personal…Taylor makes a great pop-tart and cinammon role.”

Taylor Swift attended 13 of the Chiefs’ 2023 games, including all four playoff games. The day before the Super Bowl, Swift performed a concert in Tokyo, Japan, but she returned to the U.S. in plenty of time to support Kansas City.

The Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in overtime of Super Bowl 58 to complete the first NFL repeat in 19 years. Travis Kelce finished the day with nine receptions for 93 yards despite being shut down in the first half.

Last season, Kelce recorded 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns despite missing two games. He was virtually unstoppable in the postseason, with 32 catches for 355 yards and three touchdowns in four games.

The Chiefs will welcome one of their top rivals, the Lamar Jackson-led Baltimore Ravens, to kick off the 2024 NFL season on Sept. 5. The game will be a rematch from last year’s AFC Championship Game that Baltimore won 17-10.

Baltimore will be making its first trip to Arrowhead Stadium since Week 3 of the 2019 season, when the Chiefs outlasted the eventual MVP and his Ravens 33-28. Patrick Mahomes is 4-1 in his career against John Harbaugh and company.
