Justin Bieber Is ‘Having a Hard Time’ Lately as Crying Post on Instagram Sparks Concern: Report

Justin Bieber has reportedly been “facing some difficulties lately,” the update coming days after a social media post of him crying sparked concerns among fans.

“He has been having a hard time and hasn’t been feeling like his usual self,” a source told ET in an interview published on Tuesday, April 30. The insider added that the pop star’s wife, Hailey Bieber, has “been doing her best to be there for Justin.”

“But it is upsetting for her to see him struggle,” the insider told the publication. “They are doing their best to make things work and be supportive of each other. They are committed to doing whatever it takes to make things better.”

Justin, 30, has yet to break his silence about any issues but the Canada native worried his massive fanbase after sharing a photo dump on Instagram on April 27, which included two close-up selfies where he appeared to be crying.

While Justin left his post captionless, Hailey, 27, reacted in the comment section of her husband’s post, writing, “A pretty crier,” adding a crying emoji.

The post follows the “Never Say Never” artist’s surprise performance during Coachella weekend one, where he joined singer Tems on stage on April 17. Fans were ecstatic to see Justin singing again; however, a source exclusively told In Touch that the rare outing also sparked fears for Justin’s wellbeing.

“He’s still fragile and seemed checked-out all weekend,” an eyewitness shared. “He finally got his health back, but now friends are worried that he’s spiraling again.”

Haley and Justin have been the subject of split rumors, first sparked by the Rhode Beauty founder’s dad Stephen Baldwin’s Instagram Story in February. In the post, Stephen asked his Christian followers to say a little prayer for his daughter and her husband. “Please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, protection and to draw close to the Lord,” he wrote. “There are special challenges that folks in high visibility positions face.”

After the post, more blind items on social media surrounding Haley and Justin’s marriage began surfacing on social media. Haley quickly slammed the rumors via her Instagram Story on March 5, writing, “Just FYI the stories and constant ‘blind items’ I see on TikTok are 100 [percent] of the time wrong. Made out of thin air… come from the land of delusion.”

She continued, “So I know it may be fun feeding into these stories, but just know they’re always false, xx sorry to spoil it.”

Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber looked like they were going strong as they attended the first weekend of Coachella 2024 together. The couple was spotted on the festival grounds in Indio, California, on multiple occasions throughout the weekend.

On April 12, the pair watched Lana Del Rey’s set in the crowd. Rolling Stone captured a sweet moment that the lovebirds shared during the show, as they wrapped their arms around each other and Justin placed a kiss on his wife’s head.

Then, on Sunday, April 14, Justin, 30, made a surprise appearance on the main stage to perform “Essence” with Tems and Wizkid. Hailey, 27, was watching the show from the audience and took videos of the Biebs doing his thing. “Oh hey baby,” she captioned one clip on her Instagram Story.

While the A-listers got to enjoy the music at night, Hailey also had some work obligations to fulfill. Her skincare brand, Rhode, had a photobooth on the grounds, and Hailey stopped by to take some pictures before things got too hectic. She also attended the Revolve Festival’s VIP Pool Party on April 12.

The weekend getaway to the desert comes just weeks after Hailey’s dad, Stephen Baldwin, made concerning comments about the duo, who tied the knot in 2018. At the end of February, Stephen, 57, reposted an Instagram Reel to his social media account. It included the message, “Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, protection and to draw close to the Lord. There are special challenges that folks in high visibility positions face.”

In March, an insider exclusively told In Touch that the model was considering asking her husband for a “trial separation,” but made it clear that she was “not asking for a divorce.”

Meanwhile, Hailey also recently responded to rumors that she was having an affair. “Just FYI the stories and constant ‘blind items’ I see on TikTok are 100% of the time wrong,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Made out of thin air … come from the land of delusion … so I know it may be fun feeding into these stories but just know they’re always false xx sorry to spoil it.”

The Rhode founder posted several photos from her Coachella weekend on Instagram but Justin was not included in any of the shots. “Cute weekend,” she captioned the Sunday, April 14, post, along with a series of emojis.

When asked to sign Jason Kelce’s jersey at the 2024 New Heights Beer Bowl, Kylie Kelce had a humorous response

Kylie Kelce, or as Jason affectionately calls her, Princess Kyana, was a big hit at the 2024 New Heights Beer Bowl in Sea Isle City, N.J. this past week.

The event raises money for the Eagles Autism Foundation, which Kylie is very involved in. And so she joined Jason, supporting the foundation and her husband throughout the two days.

On the first day, Kylie was signing autographs for some lucky fans and one threw her a No. 62 Eagles jersey. (For those that don’t know, that’s the number Jason wore during his long career in Philadelphia.

And Kylie couldn’t believe that someone asked her to sign it.

“You want me to sign this,” Kylie questioned the fan. “It’s gonna ruin it!”

Clearly she doesn’t understand how much Philly fans love her.

Kylie Kelce is the ultimate Eagles fan

While the Kelce brothers were filmed their latest episode of the New Heights podcast in London, Kylie tagged along. And she got to experience Passyunk Avenue, a Philadelphia inspired dive bar.

And when they were leaving, Kylie gave the manager the perfect parting gift.

“Our bar has a bit of a tradition,” JP Teti, a Philadelphia native and founder of Passyunk Avenue, told PEOPLE. “Everything you see on the walls has been donated by people over time, so it’s like a collection of other people’s junk that proudly hangs in our bar.”

“One thing that has happened over time is people will take American dollar bills and write messages in Sharpies and stick them all over the venue,” Teti added. “As Jason and Kylie were getting ready to leave, she was like, ‘Jason give me a bill, I want to write a message and leave it behind,’ and Jason said, ‘All I’ve got is a 100,’ so Jason takes out a 100 and she says, ‘Okay fine I’m writing on a 100 then, that’s what we’re doing.’ The message was, ‘F— Dallas, Go Birds and Go Cabrini,’ where she went to college.”

Kylie just couldn’t miss an opportunity to take a dig at the Dallas Cowboys.

“She insisted on standing on a chair and pinning it at the highest part of the venue herself and I just kept thinking, ‘Please don’t fall,” Passyunk Avenue manager Jessi Riley said. “She said, ‘If you’re worried about liability just look away!’”

And Riley’s reaction to meeting Kylie says everything: “She’s so cool, very down to earth.”

Kylie Kelce is a Fearless stan

While Travis Kelce couldn’t attend the New Heights 2024 Beer Bowl, Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie were there and ready for the weekend’s festivities. And the podcast’s social account posted a video of Kylie holding pitchers of beer and singing along to Taylor Swift’s song, Love Story.

The caption of the video couldn’t have been more perfect: “Sing it Ky!!!”

Justin Bieber’s Friends Are ‘Worried He’s Spiraling Again’ After Erratic Coachella Behavior

He definitely surprised the crowd. In oversized cargo pants, a sweatshirt that swallowed his thin frame and a baseball cap pulled down low, Justin Bieber joined Tems for a song during her Coachella set in Indio, California, on April 14.

“He looked like he just stepped out of the audience,” a witness says of the singer, who has only performed sporadically since canceling his Justice tour after a viral infection caused partial face paralysis in June 2022. “It’s a good sign he felt comfortable enough to get on stage, and a lot of fans are hoping this means he’ll be making his music comeback soon.”

But judging by his erratic behavior offstage, they may have a while to wait. It’s been exactly one year since Justin regained mobility in his face, but “he’s still fragile and seemed checked-out all weekend,” a source says of the singer, who has a history of substance abuse and violent rages. “He finally got his health back, but now friends are worried that he’s spiraling again.”

The past few years have been a roller coaster.

“He has severe ups and downs,” says the source.

Justin, 30, has struggled with Lyme disease, depression and anger management, and has also admitted to daily use of alcohol, marijuana and “pretty heavy drugs” during his lowest points.

“I hit a little bit of an emotional breakdown because I thought marriage was going to fix all my problems, and it didn’t,” he said of his first year with wife Hailey Bieber, 27. But his wife’s unwavering support and his Christian faith eventually “saved his life,” says the source. “He wouldn’t be here without her.”

The model, whose father, Stephen Baldwin, is a recovering addict, has confessed it was “extremely difficult” to navigate Justin’s issues with sobriety. “I’ve had times where I would get nervous, [asking Justin,] ‘Are you OK to do this? Because you did have a time in your life where it was not OK for you and it was a dark time for you.’”

Therapy and counseling with their pastor has helped, “but there’s only so much Hailey can do to keep Justin from going off the rails again,” says the source, noting that her dad posted a request that fans say “a little prayer” for the couple in February, and Justin hasn’t been wearing his wedding ring lately. “Their relationship isn’t in the best place right now, but she’s always afraid of what would happen to him if she wasn’t around. She can’t leave him.”

And she’s refused to give up on him. “Their marriage is Hailey’s priority, as well as keeping him healthy,” says the source. “Coachella was a huge accomplishment for Justin, and everyone is rooting for him. But he’s still very fragile.”

  • Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift Lose Followers Amid Campaign To ‘Block’ Celebrities Silent On Gaza

Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift Lose Followers Amid Campaign To ‘Block’ Celebrities Silent On Gaza

Social media users are blocking celebrities and influencers en masse who have not been publicly supportive of Palestine as the war in Gaza continues and nears 35,000 Palestinian deaths.

Shortly after the Met Gala earlier this month, TikTok user @ladyfromtheoutside posted on May 9 that it’s time for a “digital guillotine” to “block all the celebrities, influencers and wealthy socialites who are not using their resources to help those in dire need.”

“We gave them their platforms; it’s time to take it back, take our views away, our likes, our comments, our money by blocking them on all social media and digital platforms,” @ladyfromtheoutside said in a TikTok with 2.5 million views.

    Surprise, surprise, #blockout2024.

Although the hashtag campaign didn’t start with a definitive list with which celebrities to block, many started blocking today’s most popular celebrities, like Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift.

And it seems to be working, if only to a minor degree — some stars who only ever see boosts in their daily follower counts began to lose followers immediately.

According to Social Blade, a website that tracks follower and following statistics for several social media sites, Kardashian lost 44,000 Instagram followers the same day @ladyfromtheoutside posted her TikTok. The next day, Kardashian lost another 123,000. Swift lost 26,000 Instagram followers on May 9 and 103,000 on May 11. Selena Gomez lost 17,000 Instagram followers on May 9, but she’s been losing Instagram followers since the beginning of the month ― well before the digital guillotine was announced.

After TikTok user @ladyfromtheoutside (right) posted a video saying it was time for a "digital guillotine" and "block all the celebrities, influencers and wealthy socialites who are not using their resources to help those in dire need,” celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift began to lose followers.

    ASSOCIATED PRESS/ TIKTOK SCREENSHOT

Still, the lost follower counts for triple A celebrities like these are paltry compared to their totals. Kardashian and Swift, for example, boast 363 million and 283 million followers on Instagram, respectively.

By blocking celebrities and influencers, people are hoping to take away views, because without views, celebrities and influencers’ sponsored posts won’t be worth as much. For celebrities, like Kardashian, who earns up to $1 million for a sponsored Instagram post, blocking her could have huge consequences. With less followers, companies might not be willing to pay her as much for a sponsored post.

Eddy Borges-Rey, an associate professor in residence at Northwestern University in Qatar, told Al Jazeera that “social media celebrities heavily rely on high visibility and engagement to attract and maintain advertising deals.”

Brooke Erin Duffy, a communications professor at Cornell University, told Time that this kind of boycott can “weaponize platforms’ metric systems.”

On Monday, Lizzo posted a TikTok thanking Palestinian activists. She also posted about GoFundMe pages for Palestinian people hoping to flee, but people criticized Lizzo for not paying the whole thing.

“Pay the whole thing or split it with three of your very rich friends,” one TikTok user said in a video.

Another TikTok account under the same name as the hashtag, @blockout2024, has been posting every day a new list of celebrities and influencers to block.

“The amount of attention we give them and the amount of engagement we give them is their direct currency,” the user said. “Take it from them.”

  • Anti-Defamation League says Adidas CEO apologizes for misstatement about Kanye West

Anti-Defamation League says Adidas CEO apologizes for misstatement about Kanye West

The head of the Anti-Defamation League said in a post on X on Thursday that he was in touch with Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden who apologized for his remarks about Kanye West and reiterated the sportswear company’s fight to end antisemitism.

ADL’s CEO Jonathan Greenblatt’s comments on X followed Gulden’s remarks on an investing podcast called “Good Company” where he doubted that Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, “meant what he said” when he made a series of antisemitic and other offensive remarks last year.

“I think Kanye West is one of the most creative people in the world,” Gulden said in an episode released Sept. 12. “Very unfortunate, because I don’t think he meant what he said and I don’t think he’s a bad person. It just came off that way.”

Gulden took over as CEO last January.

In a statement emailed to The Associated Press on Thursday, Adidas confirmed that the company had been in touch with ADL. It didn’t offer any details on the conversation between Greenblatt and Gulden but it linked back to Greenblatt’s comment on X.

“Our decision to end our partnership with Ye because of his unacceptable comments and behavior was absolutely the right one,” Adidas said. “Our stance has not changed: Hate of any kind has no place in sports or society, and we remain committed to fighting it.”

American Jewish Committee CEO Ted Deutch issued a statement earlier on Thursday, calling on Gulden to “set the record” straight and demonstrate that the company is taking antisemitism seriously.

“Antisemitism can never be rationalized, ” he said.

Almost a year ago, Adidas ended a major partnership with Ye over his statements, discontinued Ye’s line of Yeezy shoes and moved up the planned departure of its CEO. In a statement at that time, the company said it “does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech.” It added: “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

For weeks prior to his rupture with the sneaker company, Ye had made antisemitic comments in interviews and social media, including an October Twitter post in which he said he would soon go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” an apparent reference to the U.S. defense readiness condition scale known as DEFCON.

Adidas CEO doubts that Kanye West really meant the antisemitic remarks that led Adidas to drop him

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden said he doubts that Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, “meant what he said” when he made a series of antisemitic and other offensive remarks last year.

Gulden struck a different tone on the investing podcast “In Good Company.”

“I think Kanye West is one of the most creative people in the world,” Gulden said in an episode released Sept. 12. “Very unfortunate, because I don’t think he meant what he said and I don’t think he’s a bad person. It just came off that way.”

Gulden did not elaborate in the interview. He took over as CEO last January. An Adidas spokesperson said the company’s position has not changed and that ending the partnership with Ye was an appropriate measure.

He had previously suggested that slavery was a choice and called the COVID-19 vaccine the “mark of the beast,” among other comments. He also took heat for wearing a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt to Paris Fashion Week and putting models in the same design. In 2020, Ye’s then-wife Kim Kardashian said that the rapper has bipolar disorder, a mental health condition that causes extreme mood swings.

Ye expressed some regrets in a podcast interview, but a few months later tweeted an image of a swastika merged with the Star of David, leading the platform to suspend him. After he received the same treatment on other social media outlets, Ye offered to buy Parler, a conservative social network with no gatekeeper. No deal ever materialized.

The break with Ye left Adidas with a huge supply of unsold Yeezy sneakers that it has begun to sell in limited batches. It has held two such sales — one in May, the other last month. For both of those sales, Adidas said it donated a portion of the proceeds to charities such as the Anti-Defamation League and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change.

The company has not said how many of those shoes remain in inventory, although the unsold shoes and Ye’s departure impacted Adidas profits. The company estimated that it held 1.2 billion euros ($1.3 billion) worth of Yeezy inventory when it broke off its partnership.

The company faces other problems tied to the rapper. Investors sued Adidas in the U.S., alleging the company knew about Ye’s offensive remarks and harmful behavior years before the split and failed to take precautionary measures to limit financial losses.

The lawsuit — representing people who bought Adidas securities between May 3, 2018, and February 21, 2023 — pointed to reports of Ye making antisemitic statements in front of Adidas staff in addition to his other remarks.

The company said at the time that it rejected “these unfounded claims and will take all necessary measures to vigorously defend ourselves against them.”

  • Kim Kardashian Is Being Called Out After She Complained About Having To Spend Her Birthday With Her Kids And Likened It To Torture

Kim Kardashian Is Being Called Out After She Complained About Having To Spend Her Birthday With Her Kids And Likened It To Torture

“I thought my birthday, I’d have the day to myself. I was stuck doing everything that everyone else wanted to do.”

As you are probably aware, Kim Kardashian shares four children with her ex, Kanye West: 10-year-old North, 8-year-old Saint, 6-year-old Chicago, and 5-year-old Psalm.

The star has been incredibly honest about how much she is struggling as a single parent after her and Ye’s 2021 split, and just last week, she got brutally honest about the situation on her family reality show “The Kardashians,” where she confessed: “I just can’t do it anymore.” The Hollywood Curtain / GC Images

At the time, Kardashian evoked some sympathy from viewers, who acknowledged how tough it can be to balance four young children with a career.

However, Kardashian’s comments about her kids on this week’s episode of the show haven’t been so well-received, with the star being called out after she likened spending her birthday with her children to torture. Hulu via Disney+
The conversation started when Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, asked: “How was your birthday with the kids?”

“I thought my birthday, I’d have the day to myself,” Kardashian replied. “I was stuck doing everything that everyone else wanted to do. I was stuck watching YouTube unboxing videos on my birthday, I had a FIFA tournament, Color Me Mine — you should see the ugly thing I made.”

“Like, this is not what I wanted to be doing on my birthday,” she continued. “I need to sit my kids down and be like: ‘This isn’t Mother’s Day, like, this is my day. Do you think a mom wants to go to Color Me Mine one more time? On her birthday? Whose birthday is it?’” Hulu via Disney+
“I was tortured,” Kardashian concluded. “Just make me breakfast, that’s a great birthday.”

In a confessional, Kardashian was then asked what her “perfect birthday” would have been, to which she replied: “To lock my door, not get out of my bed, and eat cookies and cream ice cream all day long. That’s what would have been my dream, but no, no one cares about my dreams. Not my kids, at least.” Hulu via Disney+
And her comments struck a chord with viewers at home, who discussed Kardashian’s birthday woes across multiple Reddit forums — with many saying that it was inappropriate for her to share her feelings on TV, meaning that one day her kids may see.

“I would never in a million years say that around my children or on a platform they can see it. It may just be ‘complaining’ to you, but to them, it hurts,” one person wrote. Hulu via Disney+
“I don’t know what Kim is trying to do or achieve, but this is something that should’ve been kept on the editing floor and not shared at all,” another agreed. “Every episode she’s complaining about her kids, it’s too much, it’s not cute. She’s opening and setting her kids, especially North, up for harsh criticism and that’s not fair.”

“I get wanting to do what you want to do on your birthday, or wanting time for yourself. But, can you imagine, thinking you’re finally spending some quality time with your mum and she shits all over you like this,” somebody else wrote. “My heart breaks for those beautiful children.”

Another fan couldn’t help but compare Kim’s mentality to her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian’s, pointing out: “Only Kim would describe spending time with her kids as torture. Kim is the complete opposite of her sisters. Kourtney last year spent her birthday with her kids and step children and she was the happiest of all!”

While another sassily threw Kardashian’s infamous 2022 quote back at her as they wrote: “No one wants to parent their kids these days. Get your f*** ass up and work!”
