Wedding bells may soon be ringing for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs star is reportedly ‘under pressure to propose’ to the pop star, whom he began dating last summer.

‘The timing is right,’ a source told Life & Style on Friday. ‘They’ve been together almost a year now and they’re madly in love, so it makes sense that they’d be discussing marriage.’

The insider also hinted that Kelce may be planning a ‘grand gesture’ when he gets down on one knee.

‘The big moment – and the ring – need to be super special … no matter what or when he finally asks her, it will be an experience that they’ll remember forever,’ the source added.

Chiefs Long snapper James Winchester said he could ‘definitely’ see the pair getting engaged in the future, while Barstool Sports boss Dave Portnoy thinks it will happen within the next year. 

One insider told Page Six in January that Kelce and Swift had discussed their plan to ‘get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July.’

However, according to US Weekly, the couple are not planning on taking things forward anytime soon.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end was spotted alongside Hollywood A-listers Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid at Swift’s show on Sunday at Paris La Défense Arena in Paris, France.

Several videos surfaced of Kelce rocking out to several Swift numbers, including “…Ready for It?” and “Lover.” 

One video showed Kelce swaying back and forth next to Cooper and Hadid as “You Belong with Me” played in the background.

Up until Sunday, Kelce had not appeared at one of Swift’s shows since she jumped back on tour, with the first leg swinging through Paris for four nights and culminating with the fourth show that the Super Bowl champion was spotted at.

Swift had been a massive presence at Chiefs games this past season, including their run to the Super Bowl, which she took in live during the postseason and for which she rushed back from Japan to make it to Las Vegas in order to be at the Big Game in person.

Sunday’s show was the 87th of Swift’s current tour, which just so happens to be Kelce’s jersey number for the Chiefs.

The romance had been the talk of the 2023 NFL season and Swift’s presence at games was a constant point of focus for broadcasts and media coverage, but the new focus seems to be on when the pair could take their relationship to the next stage.

Unlike most of those names, the songs about Travis Kelce, So High School and The Alchemy, are positive songs! The two tracks debuted on Taylor Swift’s new double album, The Tortured Poets Department, released back in April.

The tracks have pretty direct football references, and there’s no way those are about the album’s other two muses and Swift exes, actor Joe Alwyn and The 1975 frontman Matty Healy. Instead, they’re definitely about her boyfriend, the three-time Super Bowl-winning tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Taylor Swift started the European leg of her record-setting Eras Tour this weekend in Paris. And, Travis Kelce made the trip across the Atlantic for Sunday’s show! Swift added a few songs from TTPD to her set list for the tour, which has been going on since last spring. One of those is So High School.

The 14-time Grammy singer stepped out on stage donning the fit while performing songs from her “1989” album, including “Black Space,” as she held onto a glow-in-the-dark golf club, per a fan video posted to X.

Although she’s always used a golf club as a prop for this song, it’s no secret that Kelce also loves a good round of golf. He was recently spotted at a tournament in Las Vegas with Swift in April.

On Sunday, May 12, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, was spotted at the Paris La Défense Arena for the fourth and final night of Taylor Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour run in Paris, France.

Swift, 34, performed her new song about him — “So High School” — for the first time in front of him on tour. The love song, a track from The Tortured Poets Department album, includes pointed lyrics about their relationship.
“You know how to ball, I know Aristotle,” Swift sings in “So High School,” referring to her NFL boyfriend’s talents and her songwriting prowess.

The song’s lyrics also hint at him making her a friendship bracelet with his jersey number on it and attending one of her concerts last year as he tried to woo her before they started dating: “You knew what you wanted and, boy, you got her.”

Swift noted that this Paris concert was her 87th concert on the Eras Tour, which is notable because Kelce’s jersey number is 87.

Later in the show, Swift performed “The Alchemy,” which also has football puns, including, “So when I touch down, call the amateurs and cut ’em from the team.”

This offseason has been a busy one for the multi-talented athlete, whose new contract extension with the Chiefs makes him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.

On April 29, Kelce inked a deal worth more than $17 million a year to stay with Kansas City for an additional two years, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported.

Before his return to the football field, Kelce spent time in Los Angeles to wrap up his latest projects in Hollywood, including hosting Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, a new game show spinoff of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? that’s set to stream on Prime Video.

With nothing but the sound of the waves and the gentle hum of the yacht’s engines, Rick Ross and DJ Khaled will have the chance to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature in a way that only the open ocean can provide.

As the date of their fishing expedition draws near, anticipation is building for Rick Ross and DJ Khaled. With their bags packed and their spirits high, they’re ready to set sail on the adventure of a lifetime, exploring the high seas aboard Rick Ross’s two luxurious yachts and casting their lines into the bountiful waters of the Pacific Ocean in search of the ultimate catch.

After the “WAP” rapper received criticism for referring to the designer of her 2024 Met Gala dress as an “Asian designer” on the carpet—rather than Sensen Lii, of Windowsen—Cardi is explaining how she forgot his name in the heat of the moment.

“First, when I was on the red carpet, I was very scared,” she said in a since-expired social media video shared by TMZ. “Because he dress was supposed to be on a little podium, and I’ve been practicing how to pose on the podium. But at the carpet, I wasn’t allowed to use the podium. So I had a lot of things in my mind, and I was being rushed to the front of the line.”

She continued, “So when I was being interviewed, I kind of forgot to pronounce the designer’s name because his name is a little but complicated. Like my mind was just racing. I said ‘Asian designer because I knew that the designer was Asian, but I wasn’t sure what nationality the designer was. I didn’t want to get somebody’s nationality mixed up.”

Attention was brought to Cardi’s comments on the carpet after Vogue‘s former managing director Gilbert Cheah called her out for the moment on social media.

“For the record and recognition, and no thanks to Cardi B, the designer of her gown is Sensen Lii who’s Chinese,” Gilbert commented on a reel of Cardi at the Met. And though he expressed he personally felt the gown to be “boring and not even on theme,” he noted, “but she chose it and should have at least remembered his name and not just that he’s ‘Asian.’”

E! News has reached out to Gilbert for comment but has not yet heard back.

For her part, Cardi also responded to Gilbert’s negative comments towards the look.

“I do feel like, as a person that works in fashion, I feel like the designer and my stylist, we worked really hard for this theme. So for you to be kind of shady. Because you try to offend me, but you actually offending the people that work behind the scenes, you’re actually offending the people that spent hours and hours on phone calls, on Zooms and money on this design.”

The Grammy winner also made sure to give Sensen a special shoutout.

“I have to give another thank you to @windowsen,” she wrote on her May 8 Instagram Story over a video of herself in the voluminous gown. “I chose you because of your amazing talent and you came through really making this Met Gala a night to remember @sensenlii.”

The designer then reshared the Story to his own profile, writing thank you alongside a red heart.
