Rihanna might have been the life of the party at the World Cup Final after the game, but when she touched the trophy, she might have made a serious mistake.

The official World Cup Trophy can only be handled by heads of state and tournament winners, according to FIFA regulation.

Daniel Sturridge and Wayne Rooney of England have previously been made to observe this custom at promotional events in the UK.

However, Rihanna—who had previously raised her shirt inside the Maracana during Germany’s 1-0 victory against Argentina—was seen clutching the solid gold trophy and subsequently disclosed that she had shared a kiss and taken a “selfie” with it.

During the Rio festivities, wives, girlfriends, and kids of the German players were also shown holding the trophy, suggesting that FIFA has loosened its regulations on the 18-carat gold medal.

The singer had been seen earlier at the stadium showing off her leather-look bra as the team was playing.

It was therefore not surprise that the Bajan beauty was eager to celebrate with the German team and let her hair down when the final whistle blew.

After their victory, the crew was ecstatic to celebrate with her, and based on the many pH๏τos they posted, it looked like a fun-filled evening.

The Diamonds singer chose to dress down for the World Cup final by wearing jeans and a Trapstar sports top during the match.

Devin Booker is one of the most popular NBA players and a fast-rising star. His first shoe with Nike, named “D Book 1,” was released this February and now the shoe giant has released another colorway, the Nike Book 1 “Hike.”

Known as an outdoors person, Nike pays homage to Booker’s passion through the latest iteration. The shoe is inspired by the Suns’ guard’s hiking adventures alongside his pet, Haven. The signature shoe features a blend of light silver, dark stucco and clay orange hues that suggest natural landscapes.

The shoe also features an olive green snakeskin print representing a sense of wilderness, while the Nike swoosh logo is colored white. The ponyhair accents give a touch of luxury at the heel collar.

Booker also had his personal branding shown on the signature shoe with the tongue labels, heel tabs, and insoles. He also gave a nod to his current ball club, the Phoenix Suns, through an orange underfoot color.

The Nike D Book 1 “Hike” colorway is set to hit retail stores and shoe outlets by April 6 for $150 (per B/R Kicks).

The Nike Book 1 has been a big hit for sneaker fanatics and it has drawn a few inspirations from a few designs such as the Air Force, AJ1 and Blazer. Devin Booker had good creative input on the design of his first signature shoe, showing his love for classic cars such as a 1972 Chevy Blazer K5.

The signature shoe made its debut in February. Since Nike unveiled the design last September, Booker has been spotted wearing a dozen color variations of the shoe on the basketball court. However, only three of these have been released to the public.

In the available lineup out in the market, standout designs like the ‘Detroit’ or ‘Triple Black’ honor Booker’s hometown teams. ‘Chapter One’ marks the debut for fans, and each design is a reflection of the history and taste of the four-time NBA All-Stars.

May designs are exclusive to Booker, but it also gives sneakerheads a hint about possible releases of the signature shoe.

So far, as of this writing and in the first year of the D Book 1 series, the Phoenix Suns are 7th in the NBA Western Conference with seven games left to play in the regular season. Devin Booker is averaging 27.4 points, 6.9 assists and 4.7 rebounds.

Taylor Swift paid tribute to boyfriend Travis Kelce by wearing his NFL team’s colors during her Eras Tour stop in Paris, France, on Sunday, May 12.

During the 1989 portion of her sold-out concert, Swift, 34, sported Kansas City Chiefs hues with a gold crop top and a red skirt.

She performed various tunes from her fan-favorite LP during the segment, including “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off,” and “Bad Blood.”

Swift and Kelce, also 34, first sparked dating rumors in September 2023. Since then, they have both cheered each other on within their respective careers, and the NFL star has attended a handful of the pop star’s shows across the globe in recent months.

During the weekend show at the Paris La Défense Arena on Sunday, which marked Swift’s fourth and final night there, Kelce cheered her on from the crowd and was joined by Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid.

Swift noted that the show was her 87th concert on the Eras Tour, which is notable given that Kelce’s jersey number is 87.

The singer performed her new song about Kelce — “So High School” — for the first time in front of him on tour, as well as “The Alchemy,” which has football puns.

Following her final concert in Paris, Swift shared a post on social media in which she discussed adding her latest album — The Tortured Poets Department — to the tour.

Cardi was nearly left speechless after she came home to discover the sparkling jewelry and her mansion turned into a botanical garden on Sunday night following a multi-course dinner at Dream Hospitality Group restaurant Tucci New York.

Recent link-ups would indicate that Cardi B and Offset appear to be on good terms once again, and have possibly rekindled their romance.

The couple enjoyed a date night on April 30 as they sat courtside at Madison Square Garden for a New York Knicks playoff game. Earlier in May, they were holding hands following a Met Gala afterparty.

Cardi B declared she was single in December to bring an end to the up-and-down six-year relationship, but things appear to be different this spring.

Cardi B just revealed what could’ve been her 2024 Met Gala look.

The rapper, 31, shared a behind-the-scenes TikTok video of her prepping for the big day, and in one of the clips, she wears old-lady-like makeup. Turns out, she originally planned to debut the unrecognizable transformation on the carpet.

On May 8, makeup artist Erika La’ Pearl confirmed that the Grammy winner thought about cosplaying as an old lady with wrinkles, gray hair and, of course, with a full-beat. This seemed to be her interpretation of the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” theme centered on making what is old new again.

“This was the first idea we tested for Met Gala with facial and body prosthetics,” Pearl wrote in a May 8 Instagram post showing an aged Cardi B snapping a selfie.

Although the mom of two ultimately decided to ditch the shtick, Alexis Stone, the master behind the hyper-realistic MFX makeup, broke down all the work that went into the concept.

The process involved getting a 3D scan of Cardi B from the neck up and 18 pieces of prosthetics on her face, neck, arms and hands. Stone flew to New York to test-run the “Sleeping Beauty” look on the Saturday before the event, but creative directions changed.

Hairstylist Tokyo Stylez was in charge of styling the salt-and-pepper wig that turned Cardi B into Cardi G (the “G” standing for “granny” in the words of Tokyo Stylez).

Although the extreme makeover never hit the carpet, it seemed like Cardi B always planned to wear the black gown she showed up in.

In the TikTok clip, she poses in the marvelous confection, which featured a sprawling train that required multiple escorts to carry it, while getting fitted with the gray wig on.

While the creation was definitely applause-worthy, it did get Cardi B into a bit of trouble. She received flack after calling Chinese designer Sensen Lii, who made the gown, “Asian and everything” instead of saying his actual name in a Vogue interview.
