Places Kylie Kelce has business being: the NCAA women’s Final Four!

Kylie Kelce attended the semifinals of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament in Cleveland, Ohio, April 5, meeting plenty of people along the way.

The wife of former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce met Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, at the game and posed for a selfie together.

“Finally got to run into this incredibly talented lady,” Kylie Kelce wrote over the pic, adding, “… and yes I made her do a spin so I could admire this outstanding jacket!”

For the Final Four, the fashion designer and her husband wore matching outfits to cheer on Iowa Hawkeyes standout Caitlin Clark. Kristin Juszczyk wore a white puffer jacket featuring Clark mid-shot with the text, “This was never a long shot.” Her husband wore a black puffer vest with Clark’s name and number on the back.

The women’s Final Four proved to be a star-studded affair. In addition to posting snaps of Kylie Kelce and Kristin Juszczyk, Sanders also posted pictures of Ellis talking with “Ted Lasso” star Jason Sudeikis. Sudeikis has cheered on Iowa and Clark throughout March Madness, and the actor posed with the team after they won in the Elite Eight.

Iowa beat UConn 71-69, and South Carolina defeated NC State, 78-59, on Friday..

The Iowa Hawkeyes will return to the national championship Sunday, April 7, after losing to LSU in 2023. They will face the undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks.

Jason Kelce and his former Eagles teammate Lane Johnson made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 40 on Saturday at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field – and gave fans an absolute show as they helped Rey Mysterio and Andrade win.

Kelce, an Eagles legend who announced his retirement from the NFL last month, donned an Eagles mask along with Johnson as the pair ambushed Dom Mysterio and stopped him from using a chair against his father, Rey.

From there, Rey landed a double 619 on Dom and his partner Santos Escobar before frog splashing on Escobar to secure the win.

Kelce and Johnson then celebrated the victory in the ring with Rey and Andrade, before removing their Eagles masks.

The Philly pair then stood on the rope and basked in the reception from the hometown crowd.

This time, it was held at Lincoln Financial Field – the home of the Eagles, who Kelce played for for 13 seasons.

Next week, Jason and Travis will host a live version of New Heights from Cincinnati’s Nipper Stadium.

The Kelce brothers are hoping to break the all-time attendance record for a live crowd to witness a podcast taping, which was set at just under 21,000 by Canadian comedian Mike Ward in July 2022.

Nipper Stadium has a capacity of 38,088, but likely could hold more if needed due to seating on the turf for a live podcast.

Travis Kelce, tight end for three-time Super Bowl champions the Kansas City Chiefs, announced this week that he would be hosting the second annual Kelce Jam music festival on May 18 at Kansas City’s Azura Amphitheater. Last year’s Kelce Jam, which also followed a Super Bowl win, sold out the 20,000-seat venue.

Of course, that was before Kelce began his romantic relationship with Taylor Swift. This year, not only is Kelce a three-time Super Bowl winner, but he’s dating Time’s Person of the Year–and someone who has quite a bit of her own experience with sold-out events. So perhaps it was inevitable that the Hollywood Reporter asked Kelce what he’d learned about the concert busines from his pop star girlfriend.

“Don’t try to be Taylor, that’s what I’ve learned,” he responded. “She’s on a whole ‘nother stratosphere. She’s the best at what she does for a reason, it’s because she’s so articulate and just very dialed in to every single thing that she does. And that’s the beauty of it. I’d be silly if I ever tried to take anything from what she does.”

Don’t try to be Taylor. Kelce could be forgiven for having a larger-than-usual ego. He’s a three-time Super Bowl champ, thought by many to be the best tight end in the NFL, and when it comes to music festivals, he already proved that he could create a resounding success before Swift ever entered the picture. Not only that, he’s just signed on to host a new game show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?

So he could have said that he was ready for the challenge and didn’t need to learn anything from her. Or that what she does with her concerts and what he’s doing with Kelce Jam are two very different things. Instead, he took the opportunity to say how much he respects her and admires what she does. Which, of course, is the sort of thing every woman wants to hear from her significant other.

Kelce knows what he isn’t.

I believe those comments also reflected some solid self-awareness and self-confidence. The awareness part is that Kelce knows what he isn’t. He’s not a music industry executive or expert. He may have already produced a sold-out concert, but he knows that his success in the music realm is built on his success on the gridiron, and the joy of his home city celebrating a Super Bowl win. He may go out onstage and sing at Kelce Jam, as he did last year. He may be famous for dancing in the end zone. But he’s very clear on the difference between himself and a real singer or dancer.

The self-confidence part is less obvious, but I’d argue it’s contained in the simple humility of his response. Swift may be at the top of her profession, but so is he at the top of his. He can simply acknowledge her success and stay in his own lane.

After thinking about it for a moment, though, he did come up with one thing he’d learned from Swift. “Just enjoy the people that show up. You know, I think that’s one thing I could probably take away is she really relates to the to the people she’s performing in front of. So I’ll take that.” Enjoying the people you’re reaching may be the best advice of all. It’s something Kelce certainly does on the field, in the podcast he co-hosts with his brother, former Philadelphia Eagle Jason Kelce, and even when he encounters fans around Kansas City. It may be one reason Swift and Kelce appear to be so well matched.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been navigating this offseason with a three-peat in mind, and they have had some big roster decisions to make on both sides of the ball to ensure they are in a position to go get another Super Bowl.

One of those roster spots that needed attention was the backup quarterback position, as Blaine Gabbert has hit free agency and remains unsigned.

Kansas City brought in an upgrade behind Patrick Mahomes by signing former No. 2 pick Carson Wentz to a one-year deal, and NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero has revealed the terms of that deal as Wentz has a $3.325 million base salary with $2.2 million fully guaranteed and up to $1.1 million in per-game active roster bonuses.

Wentz has been erratic in his career, but the talent is a clear upgrade over Gabbert.

In an ideal world, Wentz never sees the field for the Chiefs other than taking a few knees here and there or executing a few late-game handoffs to run the clock out.

Wentz started one game for the Los Angeles Rams last season in the final game of the year to preserve Matthew Stafford for the playoffs and threw a pair of touchdowns.

This will be the first time Wentz signs on as an official backup from day one, as he latched on with the Rams mid-way through last season and spent 2022 as the starter for the Washington Commanders before being benched halfway through the season.

Wentz won a Super Bowl while he was injured in 2017 after Nick Foles led the Philadelphia Eagles on a run for the ages, and he’ll now be looking for ring No. 2 as a backup.

CJ Stroud emerged as a breakout star last season, transforming the Houston Texans’ offense and earning the offensive rookie of the year title.

Now, sports analyst Chris Broussard has raised the question whether Stroud could potentially challenge Patrick Mahomes, who just clinched his second consecutive Super Bowl victory.

Broussard believes so, suggesting that while Stroud may not yet be on Mahomes’ level, he has the potential to become a top contender. Despite acknowledging Stroud’s talent, Broussard emphasizes that being compared to Mahomes is premature given Stroud’s rookie status and limited experience.

“I’m not gonna sit here and say that CJ Stroud is right now, definitely is better than Lamar or Josh and Joe Burrow,” Broussard told First Things First.

“But he has something in his favor in this type of argument or debate [about Mahomes competition] that all of them lack. So, he’s a better passer than Lamar, he’s more poised and doesn’t make the same mistakes as Josh Allen, Burrows is just injury prone.”

Rating himself highly

While Stroud deserves recognition for his achievements, it’s essential to temper expectations and allow him time to develop without undue pressure. Earlier in the year, he didn’t hesitate to rank himself among NFL’s elite quarterbacks.

“Yes, sir. I do. I think I put it on film,” Stroud told CBS Sports Radio.

“I think my numbers speak for itself. Especially missing two games. If I didn’t miss two games, my numbers would have been just as good or one of the best in the league.

“And I think you can see the impact I had on my team. I’m not in the business of like, arguing, ‘I’m top five. I’m not.’ I really don’t care. I mean, I just want to win.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been spending pretty much all their available time together—and on top of vacationing in The Bahamas and Pennsylvania, it looks like they spent time in Nashville. Without anyone realizing.

DeuxMoi reports that the couple had a “family-packed holiday” in Nashville, where they enjoyed “family time, good food, and a whole lot of secrecy.”

On the agenda? A quick stop at Soho House, where a source told DeuxMoi they were “super chill and kind,” adding that “They snuck them in the employee entrance and into the dining room that was closed off with curtains. The place was packed and no one had any idea.”

The staff also apparently closed a restaurant just so that Travis + Taylor + “their family” (gonna assume this was the Swifts!) could play pool. Cute!

Anyway, sounds like this trip took place over Easter weekend, but the couples’ time in Nashville was presumably brief since the Daily Mail reports that Taylor and Travis spent Easter Sunday itself with the Kelces.

According to their intel, Travis introduced Taylor to his nieces—Bennett, Elliotte, and Wyatt—for the first time, then they spent a night at the Four Seasons, and then flew back to Los Angeles on Monday in Taylor’s private jet. In other words: it was a whirlwind.

Oh, and at some point during all of this Travis appears to have done press for his upcoming festival, Kelce Jam, which basically just consisted of him gushing about Taylor. Enjoy!
