Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce won’t make their big debut at the Met Gala, because they’re passing on soaking up the spotlight at fashion’s biggest night … TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … the Grammy winner and NFL superstar were each issued individual invitations to the Met Gala, but both have RSVP’d “no” to the celeb-packed evening.

We know Taylor has a pretty good reason for skipping the event, which takes place on May 6 — that’s the same week she gets back on the road for her ‘Eras’ tour with a stop in Paris.

We’re told it’s unclear why Travis declined the invitation, but it’s fair to assume he’s ducking it because Taylor won’t be there.

Despite the public nature of their relationship, Taylor and Travis have yet to walk the line for photogs at any premieres or events such as the Met.

The closest they came to that scenario was when they attended Madonna’s Oscars after-party, but they arrived under the radar for that one.

Still, Taylor and Travis haven’t been shy about hitting up high-profile events. They were front and center for Coachella weekend 1, cuddling up during Ice Spice’s set and cheering on Taylor’s frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff as he performed with his band, Bleachers.

While the pair will be MIA from the Met Gala, the night won’t be lacking for A-listers … this year’s co-chairs include Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Jennifer Lopez.

The Boston Celtics may not return to South Florida for several months, which is fantastic news for the Miami Heat.

The bad news for the Heat is that as well.

With Derrick White scoring a career-high 38 points on Monday night to lead the top-seeded Celtics past the eighth-seeded Heat 102-88 and grab a 3-1 lead in their opening-round NBA playoff series, Boston now has complete control of this Eastern Conference series.

White, who shot 8 of 15 from 3-point range and 15 of 26 from the field, said, “I made a couple shots early.” That is always beneficial. After you produce a few, the basket appears enormous.

The Celtics triumphed at Miami for the sixth time in a row, raising their record to 14-3 in their previous 17 visits to the Heat’s arena. Kristaps Porzingis went down in the first half due to what the team said was a right calf injury, thus it was an expensive victory. Frequently worn as a precaution, he exited the arena wearing a walking boot.

Following the game, Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla stated he had not received an update on Porzingis’ health.

In this one, Miami simply couldn’t keep up. In the first quarter, White scored 16 points as the Celtics took a 34–24 advantage. And the offense was unable to fill any holes, regardless of the Heat’s defensive strategies.

Think about this: the Heat needed roughly 23 minutes, or the entirety of the first half, to reach the 34-point threshold, while the Celtics had 34 points after 12 minutes. Miami had only 59 points after three quarters, which was the same as the season low they had recorded at Boston in Game 1 of this series.

The honeymoon phase between Swifties and Kansas City Chiefs fans is seemingly over after the team’s Week 16 home loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.on Christmas.

Social media users, mostly Chiefs fans, have since focused on whether or not the “Taylor Swift curse” is a real thing despite the fact they were first saying that tight end Travis Kelce played better with her in attendance.

Swifties were quick to defend the popstar and even claimed that blaming a woman for losses involving grown men playing a game is borderline mysoginistic.

Perhaps the worst take of them all is comparing Swift to Yoko Ono, the woman who the world blames for breaking up The Beatles after she started dating John Lennon.

“I’m sorry but when did Taylor Swift start playing offense in the NFL? And are we really still blaming Yoko Ono for the downfall of The Beatles? It was racist and sexist then and still is today. Let’s stop blaming women when men become inept at their jobs,” one user tweeted.

Losing to a divisional opponent when they could have clinched the AFC West and losing four of their last five games is evidently enough to make Chiefs fans point fingers at the wrong people.

Besides, Kansas City is still in a good position to clinch the division with two games remaining, at home against the Cincinnati Bengals followed by a visit to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Another win in front of Swift would also put the Chiefs back at .500 with her in attendance, so everyone can just calm down.

Kelce’s numbers have admittedly suffered, but still, nobody will want to face the Chiefs in the playoffs, regardless of them playing at home or on the road.

The Phoenix Suns were swept by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs, and the aftermath could lead to some major changes and departures.

Could that potentially include Devin Booker?

“Booker wants to be in New York,” ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith said on Monday’s First Take. “That’s what I’m being told. Now, he might deny it, I haven’t spoken to him. I’m just telling you the scuttlebutt in the NBA circles is that the brother wanna be in New York. So if you’re Phoenix, you’ve got at least two people—probably three—who are all getting paid about $150 million combined who don’t wanna be there.”

Plenty went wrong in Phoenix this season.

The Suns didn’t have a pure point guard, any defensive stoppers or much quality depth. Booker and Kevin Durant have never quite found a flow on the offensive end. Injuries limited the trio of Booker, Durant and Bradley Beal to just 41 games together this season, and Beal in particular (18.2 PPG, 5.0 APG) never quite seemed to find his footing. It’s possible that head coach Frank Vogel has lost the locker room.

But Booker has been the face of the franchise for years, helping to lead the Suns out of 10-year playoff drought and back to the NBA Finals in the 2020-21 season. If he actually wants out—and is eventually granted that wish—it would be a dark day in Phoenix.

As for the possibility of him wanting to New York, that could mean desiring to join either the Knicks or the Brooklyn Nets, though the latter seems more likely.

The Knicks are currently in the playoffs and up 3-1 on the Philadelphia 76ers. The team has a bonafide star in point guard Jalen Brunson and a solid supporting cast around him. Booker would not only give the team more offensive firepower, but he wouldn’t have to handle playmaking duties like he does in Phoenix.

The Nets, meanwhile, have Booker’s former teammate in Mikal Bridges, but beyond that only offer a series of role players. The result was a disappointing 32-50 season and the likelihood of a rebuilding effort if the team can’t be a major factor in free agency—which probably won’t happen given the team’s current cap situation—or on the trade market this summer.

So if Booker wants New York, it likely means he wants the Knicks. But time will tell if he has any interest in actually leaving the desert.

Anthony Davis finished with 25 points, 23 rebounds and six assists in the Los Angeles Lakers’ Game 4 victory over the Denver Nuggets. In doing so, Davis joined Shaquille O’Neal and Wilt Chamberlain as the only Lakers to finish with at least 25 points, 20 rebounds and five assists in a playoff game.

It was the latest outstanding game for Davis, who has been unstoppable throughout this series. The big man is averaging 30.5 points, 15.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists in the series so far, doing everything he can to help the Lakers try and overcome a Nuggets team that has dominated them for most of the past two seasons.

As for why Davis has been in such a good rhythm offensively in these playoffs, the big man credited his Lakers teammates for setting him up in good positions.

“I just feel good. Just taking my time, reading the defense,” Davis said. “My teammates are doing a great job of getting me the ball in space and in areas where I can be most effective. But it’s another challenge going into Game 5 in Denver and we learned from tonight about what we did great and what we can be better at and try to have some carryover going up there on Monday.”

Davis would continue on, noting that he is letting things come to him and trying not to force too much before again, praising his Lakers teammates.

“I think I’m in a good rhythm with just how we’re playing,” Davis added. “Just playing in the flow, not really forcing anything. Just letting the game kind of come to me. A lot of pick-and-rolls, stuff around the rim. If I get some isolations, just trying to be aggressive if I see an open floor. If I get a rebound, pushing it and being aggressive in those moment.

“But like I said, I think my teammates are just doing a good job of getting me the ball in positions where I can be effective and then I just make the read from there whether it’s a shot or a kick out for a guy to shoot a 3. But for the most part, I’m just trying to be very aggressive knowing it’s gonna open things up for my teammates.”

It took a historic effort from Davis to extend the Lakers season and he joined some truly elite company with his Game 4 performance. If the Lakers plan on coming back to L.A. for a Game 6, Davis may need to have another history-making night.

Darvin Ham outlines message to Lakers before and after Game 4

Thanks to the efforts of Anthony Davis and the rest of the Lakers, they lived to fight on another day and head coach Darvin Ham revealed a message he had for his team prior to, and after the Game 4 win.

“Beautiful day to be alive in order to stay alive,” Ham said. “That was the message [Friday] and the message [Saturday]. Just win one game. And we’ve got to re-focus, re-calibrate and have that same mindset going up to Denver.”

Thanks to 30 points from LeBron James and 25 points and 23 rebounds form Anthony Davis, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to stave off elimination and end their 11-game losing streak to the Denver Nuggets with a 119-108 victory in Game 4.

It was obviously a huge win for the Lakers, who avoided getting swept by the Nuggets for a second consecutive season and forced the series back to Denver. Of course the pressure has gone nowhere as the Lakers are still in a win-or-go home situation and James understands that as well.

“The only opportunity for us is just to play the next game,” LeBron said after the Lakers victory. “And we’ve given ourselves another life. We’ve given ourselves another lifeline and it’s a one-game series for us. Monday’s game is the most important game of the season for us and we understand that and we know that so it’s that stake where you lose, you’re done or you win and you keep going. So, it’s not much to talk about.”

The Lakers are looking to make history and become the first team in NBA history to ever come back from a 3-0 series deficit. But LeBron understands that they can’t look at it like that, and must instead approach each game as its own individual contest.

There would also seem to be some sort of mental block lifted from the Lakers after finally defeating the Nuggets, who have owned them over the past couple of seasons, but James isn’t focused on that.

“I don’t know. We won this game and that was most important,” LeBron added. “Now we got to start focusing on the next one. If we lose the next one then it will be 12-1 in the last 13 games so we want to try to make that not happen. We want to continue to try to play good basketball and focus on our next task and our next task is like I said, Monday’s game and see what happens.”

A huge reason the Lakers were able to get the win in Game 4 was that they weren’t dominated in the third quarter as has been the case throughout this series. They were able to maintain their first half effort coming out of the locker room and that stood out to LeBron James as well.

“Obviously like we’ve been talking about, we have to sustain our effort, we have to sustain our energy and I thought the third quarter was very important,” James said. “We’ve had a lead in a lot of these games and then the second half, they’ve jumped on us and even though they outscored us by two, we’ve scored with them to keep the lead at 11.

“We were up 13 at half, they outscored us by two in the third but we were able to put up 30 so that definitely helped us going into the fourth and then the fourth for me is just my mindset to close it out. Make winning plays and I was able to make a few.”
