On their press tour for Irish Wish, Ayesha Curry and Lindsay Lohan surprised reporters by explaining they have been close friends since well before their time on set filming the movie together.

Lohan explained how the unlikely besties became so close in her recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Spoiler alert: it’s fairly first-world-y and probably not how you met your best friend.

Lohan, who lives in Dubai with her financier husband Bader Shammas, told Fallon, “My husband knows Michael Mina, the chef, and we were in Dubai and Michael Mina kept saying to Bader, he was like, ‘You need to introduce Lindsay and Ayesha. I need them to meet.”

In a tearful press conference March 4, the Philadelphia Eagles star officially confirmed he was saying goodbye to football after 13 seasons in the league. Jason Kelce spoke at length about his career in the NFL and what the sport has meant to him and his family.

During one particularly poignant moment, Jason Kelce, who wore a sleeveless Eagles shirt, broke down in tears as he recalled his team losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2023 Super Bowl.

“I won’t forget falling short to the Chiefs,” he said. After taking a few breaths, he prepared the crowd in the room for more tears, telling them, “This is where it’s going to go off the rails.”

Jason Kelce said as time ran out on the clock and the game ended he felt torn between “immense heartbreak” for himself and his teammates and “the amount of pride I had that my brother climbed the mountaintop once again.”

He went on to describe their small family. He said that he and the Chiefs tight end do not have any cousins and only one aunt and uncle.

“It was really my brother and I our whole lives,” he shared.

The 36-year-old continued, “We did almost everything together: competed, fought, laughed, cried and learned from each other. We invented games, imagined ourselves as the star players of that time.”

He said that he and his younger brother always dreamed of playing in the NFL.

“We won countless Super Bowls in our minds before ever leaving the house,” he said between sobs.

Although they were competitive, they always made sure to support each other. He remembered them attending each other’s games and cheering with a Capri Sun that their mom, Donna Kelce, had packed.

“There is no chance I’d be here without the bond Travis and I share,” he gushed. “It made me stronger, tougher, smarter and taught me the values of cooperation, loyalty, patience and understanding.”

Jason Kelce sweetly added, “It’s only too poetic I found my career being fulfilled in the City of Brotherly Love. I knew that relationship all too well.”

After praising wife Kylie Kelce and speaking more about the highlights of his time with the Eagles, he ended the press conference. As he wiped away tears, Jason Kelce immediately walked from the podium and embraced his brother.

He then hugged his mom and dad, Donna and Ed Kelce, before giving Kylie Kelce a kiss.

The couple share three daughters: Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, who turned 3 on March 4, and Bennie, 1.

Nearly two months ago, ESPN and the NFL Network reported that Jason Kelce had privately told his teammates after their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Jan. 15 that this would be his final season.

But, he later appeared on “The Big Podcast with Shaq” on Feb. 12 and said at the time that he was “still figuring it out” in regards to his future involvement with the team.

It seems he finally came to a decision over the past few weeks. During his final Eagles press conference he said, “Thirteen seasons in Philadelphia, and I look back at a career filled with ups and downs.”

The center is a future Hall of Famer and won a Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2018. Football fans will still get to see the beloved player often even though he won’t be suiting up anymore. He currently hosts a weekly podcast with Travis Kelce, “New Heights,” and will likely continue to root for his brother at upcoming games.

It comes as Jason prepares to announce his decision on his potential retirement in a press conference on Monday afternoon.

Speculation has been rife that Kelce will retire this offseason after reports emerged in January that he’d told his Philadelphia Eagles teammates he was walking away.

Kelce has refused to give a definitive decision so far, instead supporting his brother and the Kansas City Chiefs as they eventually won the Super Bowl in Las Vegas last month.

Travis, meanwhile, is in Philadelphia to catch up with his brother and will no doubt be by his side when he makes the decision on Monday.

He was spotted getting a new haircut in Philadelphia while girlfriend Taylor Swift continues to perform in front of sold-out crowds in Singapore.

‘Not Not but Super Bowl Champion !!! When Travis is tired of his own haircut he gets the @jvalanciunas!!!,’ Orengo wrote as a caption to his post, referring to the New Orleans Pelicans’ starting center, who many have pointed out as Kelce’s doppelganger.

Earlier, Orengo had shared a photo taken by his fiancée on his Instagram, revealing that they were traveling to Pennsylvania‘s largest city.

‘Little drive to Philly last night with @willsthebarber,’ she wrote on an image of what appeared to be the same room where Orengo and Kelce posed for a picture together. A GIF of the Chiefs tight end dancing was added to the post, too.

Kelce’s new hairdo comes in between three consecutive concerts in Singapore for Swift, as she continues to travel around the world for her record-breaking ‘Eras’ Tour.

Jason Kelce did not wait long to take part in a hysterical activity in retirement, jumping off the back of a firetruck and through a flaming table.

Kelce landed butt first on the flame-ridden table that broke in half under his weight, with brother Travis Kelce watching closely and laughing.

The now-retired Kelce wore what appears to be a fire-retardant suit, as well as a full face mask to make the plunge onto the flaming table. 

Kelce made the leap, with some of the flame carrying onto his backside, with a local firefighter patting it out on his clothing. 

The jump looked to be in a controlled environment ran by the Brookline Fire Company, which is based in Jason’s hometown of Havertown, Pennsylvania.

Jason Kelce can cross one item off his bucket list.

The newly retired Eagles center took a giant step — or jump — into his post-playing career, leaping on to a flaming table as part of his “New Heights” podcast that he hosts with his brother, Travis.

In a video shared to the podcast’s X page on Tuesday that teased Wednesday’s upcoming episode, Kelce, who previously expressed a desire to smash a table in Buffalo, wore a matching long-sleeve green shirt and pants as a person lit a fire on a table.

As he climbed onto the back of what appeared to be a fire truck, the now-former NFL star said, “I’m Jason Kelce, welcome to ‘New Heights’” in the same vein as the introduction to the MTV show “Jackass.”

While Jason got to have the fun of jumping onto the table, Travis was off to the side, smiling and laughing hard.

Kelce, the six-time All-Pro, made plenty of headlines during the AFC divisional round this year when he supported Travis and the Chiefs in Buffalo.

Nevertheless, during an episode of the podcast that was released after the game, Kelce revealed that he did not in fact jump onto a table during the festivities before the game, which has become an iconic tradition among Bills fans.

“I was hoping I was going to get an opportunity to go through a table but it didn’t happen,” he said. “No tables … I don’t know what I was expecting but everyone was beyond excited to be there and enjoy some good football.”

It might not have happened at a Bills game, but Kelce finally got to do this one — with some extra zaniness thrown in.
