Eric Silver, the head of development at the podcast collective Multitude, told MarketWatch that the Kelce brothers could command a contract worth upwards of $100 million, which is what actors Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes received from SiriusXM for their “SmartLess” podcast.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if it was around the same as ‘SmartLess.’ I wouldn’t be surprised if it was $100 million,” Silver said about Travis Kelce and his brother’s potential price as the continue negotiations.

“New Heights” currently ranks as the No. 1 American sports podcast on Spotify and the No. 2 American sports podcast on Apple. The brothers are also in the top 25 for all American podcasts on Spotify.

Theoretically, Jason could have more time to devote to podcasting after announcing his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons on Monday.

The governor of Missouri has commuted the three-year prison sentence of Britt Reid, son of Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, following his conviction for a DUI crash that caused serious injuries to five people, including a severe injury to five-year-old Ariel Young.

Reid had entered a guilty plea in September 2022 for driving under the influence and causing bodily harm. The incident had significant consequences, particularly for Ariel Young, who suffered critical injuries.

Initially, Ariel’s mother, Felicia Miller, advocated for the maximum sentence before Reid accepted a plea deal, which resulted in a potential four-year prison term. However, Reid’s time served falls short of even half of this duration.

Governor Mike Parson, in a statement, highlighted that Reid has already completed an alcohol abuse treatment program and served more time behind bars than is typical for similar offenses. Following his release, Reid will be subject to house arrest until October 31, 2025, and will face rigorous probation conditions including weekly check-ins with a parole officer, consistent behavioral counseling, meetings with a peer support sponsor, and demanding community service and employment requirements.

The commutation conditions mandate Reid to secure employment for a minimum of 30 hours weekly, install an ignition interlock device in any vehicle he drives, undergo random substance tests, attend weekly meetings with a probation officer, participate in behavioral counseling, engage with a peer support sponsor, and complete at least 10 hours of community service each week. Additionally, Reid is prohibited from contacting the victim or her family, barring legal obligations.

Court documents revealed that Reid had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.113 and was driving at 84mph shortly before the collision. Officers at the scene observed signs of impairment, including bloodshot eyes and the odor of alcohol.

Footage from the crash, released in April 2023, showed Reid attempting to use his cellphone shortly after being extracted from his vehicle. He inquired about the wellbeing of the occupants in the other car, apparently unaware of the critical condition of Ariel Young, who was in a coma with traumatic brain injuries. Young’s mother reported that her daughter remained unconscious for two weeks post-accident and faced a challenging recovery, relearning basic functions such as walking, talking, and eating.

Following the incident, Reid lost his job as the Chiefs’ linebacker coach, and it was later revealed that he had been drinking at the team’s facility prior to the crash.

The Philadelphia Eagles center — who was drafted by the team in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft — announced his retirement during an emotional press conference on March 4.

“So this all brings us here to today, where I announce that I am retiring,” Kelce said through tears nearly 40 minutes into his speech. “Where I announce I am retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and today, I must admit, I am officially overrated, vastly overrated.”

Kelce is widely considered to be among the greatest centers in NFL history. He was selected to seven Pro Bowls, was named first-team All-Pro six times and clinched one Super Bowl title throughout his accomplished 13-season football career.

In the last five of those seasons, Kelce has doubled as a dad. The athlete is the father of three daughters — Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 23 months, and Bennett, 12 months — with whom he shares with his wife, Kylie.

In February 2024, Kelce opened up on The Big Podcast with Shaq about the possibility of coaching football after he retires from the NFL. While he considered it, he was specific about the level at which he’d pursue the career.

“If it was the number one school in Philadelphia, I might take it,” Kelce said on the podcast. “My in-laws help out, I’m Philly right now… we’d be lost without their help with our girls and everything,” he explained in reference to his three daughters.

“Cleveland Heights would be something though. NFL, that’s a big time commitment,” Kelce continued. “College, no. Not interested. It’s too much, you gotta recruit, you gotta coach, you’ll never be with your family.”

Kelce said the “the best two levels” of coaching football are high school and the NFL — with high school, he said, “you get to develop kids and really form them and help them grow into men and really offer that guidance.”

As for the NFL, Kelce said ,”you get to compete at the highest level.” While it’s “still a time commitment,” he said “financially it kinda makes sense.”

She said she “can’t believe that [Jason and Travis] wouldn’t be in the future involved with football in some capacity because they love it so much.”

Donna pointed out their respective personalities. “I know them,” the proud mom explained of her “very determined” and “very focused” sons.

“Anything they want to do, I truly believe they could do. I’ve seen it over and over again,” Donna continued. “They are just very tenacious, very much, ‘I’m going to see this through.’ They just never give up. They just keep moving on.”

And though Donna said she has “a feeling sports is going to be in there somewhere if they could,” she pointed out that it’s “fun to see” Jason be a parent, too! “It’s just so heartening to see how he is as a father and a husband,” she said of her son.

It’s “so heartening — unless he’s going to do an antic,” she joked, referencing Jason’s celebratory shirtless moment that went viral when he stripped during the Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 21. “But it’s funny,” she added. “He’s a crazy good guy” and an “absolutely” fun dad!

The Philadelphia Eagles legend burst into tears before he even started speaking and then finally ended months of speculation as he ended his career on Monday after 13 years in the NFL.

Kelce announced the decision with his brother Travis, wife Kylie and parents Ed and Donna in attendance at the Eagles’ team facility.

Speculation first emerged that Kelce would hang up his cleats when the Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in January.

However, he refused to announce a definitive decision on his future in the weeks that followed, instead supporting brother Travis throughout the postseason as the Kansas City Chiefs eventually won the Super Bowl.

Kelce came close to retiring this time last year but decided to stay on for another season after struggling to walk away – a process that was captured on film in his hit Amazon Prime documentary.

Kelce was drafted by the Eagles in 2011 and has enjoyed a sensational 13-year career in Philadelphia.

A seven-time Pro Bowl selection, the center won the Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2018 when they beat the New England Patriots in Minnesota.

The center, who hosts the ultra-successful ‘New Heights’ podcast with his brother Travis and filled in on Amazon’s Thursday Night Football broadcast during his bye week this season, looks destined for a career in broadcasting if he wants it.

He’s already met with executives from Fox and ESPN, according to Front Office Sports, as he used Super Bowl week in Las Vegas to ‘make the rounds’ with networks.

The Sun also reported that there was already a ‘scramble’ among several broadcasters to win Kelce’s services – and that he could make up to $5million per year for his football analysis.

Despite the lucrative offers seemingly waiting for Kelce, he recently admitted to being anxious about what life after football might look like.

‘It’s exciting to think about possibilities, it’s exciting to be able to lose weight, feel good and not have to physically fight for my life every day,’ Kelce, 36, said. ‘It’s also daunting. It’s anxiety. At the end of the day, it’s the unknown.

‘People ask if you get nervous for games but the only games I get nervous for are the first time – you don’t know what is in store. Ironically it makes you play better, it makes your senses alive. But that is kind of where it is at when you start thinking about retirement.

‘It is exciting, the possibilities. All of us were fortunate, we can go in a lot of different areas. But that is also very nerve-wracking, you don’t know what you are going to like until you are doing it. You don’t know what you are going get fulfilment in until you are doing it, you don’t know what you are going to be great at until you are doing it.

‘All that stuff is also in the back of your head. No matter how you handle it, no matter who you are, how well prepared you are to enter the next stage, everybody goes through a level of depression, really.

‘The end of one of the things you love most in your life is there and you are going to have to come to grips with that.

‘You might be struggling and you don’t know it. I feel like you might be struggling in football but you get that win, that little shot, dopamine, like “I got it”. I’m a big ‘hit’ guy.’

‘I found my career being fulfilled in the City of Brotherly Love,’ Jason, 36, said at first. ‘I knew that relationship all too well…’

Swifties on X couldn’t help but to point out an apparent reference to Swift’s song, ‘All Too Well,’ later on;

A different individual said she was ‘not ok’ after ‘Jaisn [sic] made a too well reference.’

The references didn’t stop there, with Kelce later saying in his speech: ‘If you go above and beyond for this city, you will be rewarded above your wildest dreams.’

‘Wildest Dreams,’ is one of Swift’s early-day hits and is included in her 2014 album, ‘1989,’ which was updated and released once more in October as ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version).’
