Rui Hachimura, forward for the Los Angeles Lakers, will reportedly appear in a new episode of the popular anime series “Crayon Shin-chan” the following month.

Hachimura will appear in a series of promotional images depicting the Lakers forward in the anime’s signature style as he has a cameo. The November 4 premiere of “The Adventures of Buri Buri Zaemon: Space Dunk Edition” will feature Hachimura.

Hachimura will reportedly attempt to deflect an enormous meteorite heading toward Earth with the largest slam dunk of his career in this episode.It is commendable that the Lakers forward is receiving recognition and the opportunity to appear in the anime series, as he has been a vital member of the team’s success since joining prior to last season’s trade deadline. Reportedly, Hachimura and his family are diehard followers of the program, and their cameo is a “dream come true.”

Adele and Rich Paul stepped out in style! Over the weekend, the GRAMMY-winning singer and the sports manager attended Kevin Love and Kate Bock’s lavish wedding in NYC — and there’s pictures to prove it.

On Tuesday, LeBron James shared a group shot featuring him, the couple and his wife, Savannah James, standing outside of the wedding venue. “ICONIC🤫,” the Los Angeles Lakers player captioned the picture.

 

 

In the shot, Adele channels Old Hollywood glam in a sleek off-the-shoulder gown with her blonde tresses flowing past her shoulder. The “I Drink Wine” singer flashes a sleek smile as she stands next to her man, who rocks a tux. On the opposite side of her, the NBA star and his wife coordinate in chic black ensembles.

The A-list event, which also included guests Russell Westbrook, his wife, Nina Earl, Steve Nash, JR Smith and more, was held at the New York Public Library, before the celebrations moved to Bryant Park Hotel in the Célon Lounge for the after-party. On Sunday, the guests had a farewell brunch at Sadelle’s.

 

The wedding, which had a strict, no phones policy, gave Adele and Paul a chance to let loose, especially since each guest was gifted a pair of white Air Force Ones for comfort while they partied.

“There was a very strict no phones rule,” a source tells ET. “So everyone just let loose and partied — including Adele!” The source added that Adele and Rich hit the dance floor to show off their moves and were “super cute” and “attentive” to one another.

“Love was in the air and they were definitely feeling it!” the source says.

 

Adele and Paul’s outing comes a month after they were spotted sitting courtside during Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors at Chase Center in San Francisco.

The photo carousel included pictures of the couple standing in front of a home, smiling, laughing during a trip to McDonald’s — which saw the songstress behind the counter — taking in a softball game and backstage at Adele’s One Night Only concert event, where Paul is seen giving his girlfriend a kiss. Adele concluded the slideshow with a fortune cookie fortune that read, “You have found good company — enjoy.”

The futuristic—and somewhat infamous—Los Angeles mansion built in the 1970s for late NBA star Wilt Chamberlain is back on the market for $11.995 million.

According to the home’s listing agent Bobby Syed of Coldwell Banker Realty, the five-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion relisted this week with a price reduction from the “very ambitious” $18.999 million price tag it was listed with in mid-2018.

 

 

Mr. Syed has witnessed the home’s evolution from a racy party house custom designed for the basketball player to a modernised family home with fruit trees and a vegetable garden over the years. According to property records, he was involved in the home’s most recent sale, when screenwriters George Meyer (of “The Simpsons” fame) and Maria Semple (who’s won accolades for the series “Mad About You” and “Arrested Development,” among others), sold it to the current owners in 2008 for $6.555 million.

 

 

The basketball Hall of Famer, who played for 14 years from the late 1950s to the early 1970s before passing away in 1999 at the age of 63, commissioned architect David Rich to design the geometric, modernist-style residence made of steel, wood, and stone.

As a former missile silo, the underlying property in Bel Air originally belonged to the United States government. According to Mr. Syed, Chamberlain was in a helicopter when he observed the lonely point from above and decided he wanted to build a residence on it.

The steeply pitched, asymmetrical facade of the property accommodates a spectacular main living space that reaches four to five stories high—so lofty that the current owners need “very high-end equipment” to replace the heating and cooling systems, according to Mr. Syed.

 

 

 

Chamberlain was over 7 feet tall, and one of the most practical improvements he made after taking over was to lower all of the bathroom and kitchen worktops to normal height.

“The bathroom sinks, the kitchen counters—all of those were super high,” recalled Mr Syed. “The countertops would come down to a normal person’s chest.”

 

 

“Now it’s all modernised,” he continued. Mr. Syed said the sellers, a couple of young business professionals, have steadily reduced the price over the years and are now serious about selling the property, which they’ve spent more than a decade refurbishing from Chamberlain’s initial crazy playhouse.

According to him, the owners also elevated the bottom of an exceptionally deep pool and hot tub.

 

The basketball player was well-known both on and off the court, and he frequently boasted about his sexual experiences. Whether his stories were true or not, Chamberlain designed the house to entertain. A stairway leading directly from the garage to the bedroom was removed by the owners, as was an underwater passthrough from the extremely big pool right into what is now the dining room.

“You could swim right under and into the house,” Mr. Syed explained.

 

 

 

 

They also removed the primary suite’s large retractable sunroof and hot tub, as well as a bedroom encased by one-way glass that Chamberlain jokingly dubbed the “boom boom room.”

“They were at a very ambitious price at first,” he explained. “I’ve positioned the price right in line with the marketplace.”

“There’s literally nothing for them to do here,” James told reporters of the NBA bubble last month. “It’s not a kid-friendly place. My kids are too adventurous and they love to do so much stuff. There’s nothing for them to do here. Go outside, come back in, go outside, come back in. They can stay in L.A. They’re great.”

Since players could only invite a single guest to each game, only his wife, Savannah Brinson, attended matches.

It hasn’t changed for me,” James explained in September. “It’s definitely always great to see familiar faces, people that you know that have been there on the grind with you throughout postseason runs as well. But just having some of our family here and having some of our Laker personnel in the front office and things of that nature, it’s great for us.”
