One day after sharing she’d fractured her back, Brittany was spotted enjoying a sunny vacation on March 7 with husband Patrick Mahomes and their children, Sterling, 3, and Patrick “Bronze,” 15 months, in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Sporting an olive green bikini and sunglasses, the 28-year-old enjoyed a drink on the beach while relaxing with her kids. She even joked on Instagram Stories about being Patrick’s “backrest” as she posted footage of the NFL star leaning his back on her knees during their tropical outing.

The former soccer player also gave a glimpse of her “cool girl” Sterling rocking a swimsuit coverup and white bucket hat, along with another shot of her baby boy a.k.a. her “perfect angel that hates sand” resting under a shaded lounge chair.

Brittany seemed in good spirits during their family beach day, despite the message she had for her fans on March 6.

“Just your daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor. Seriously,” she captioned an Instagram Stories selfie. “From: A girl with a fractured back.”

While she still has not revealed what led to the injury, pelvic floor complications after childbirth can manifest as lower back pain, alongside a host of other symptoms, according to the University of Utah Health.

Still, as Brittany also posted on Instagram, “Vacaying with my homies will maybe make it better?”

The vacation comes after a busy few months for the Mahomes crew, as Patrick’s Kansas City Chiefs won game after game, ultimately taking home the Lombardi Trophy at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11 when he beat out the San Francisco 49ers alongside best friend and teammate Travis Kelce.

And as the quarterback recently admitted, none of it would be possible without Brittany, his high school sweetheart whom he wed in 2022.

“She has her head on her shoulders the right way,” the 28-year-old told E! News in July. “She’s my rock. She’s the one that, through tough times, can get me through.”

The quarterback added, “Having someone that supports you every single day like I do is the reason that I am in the position that I am today.”

A follow-up post hinted that a family vacation could be on the horizon.

“But vacaying with my homies will maybe make it better?” she wrote on a photo of her daughter Sterling Skye, 3, walking.

Both of her children appeared in her Instagram Stories on Thursday.

“Perfect angel that hates sand,” Brittany wrote over a photo of her son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 1, as he sat on a beach chair looking less than enthused about the situation.

His mother tagged his pro athlete dad, and added a laughing emoji once again.

In her next Story post was a picture of Sterling standing outdoors wearing a white hat, colorful sunshades, a white dress, and shiny pink shoes.

“Cool girl,” was written on the image of the toddler posing for a snap in front of trees and flowers. The NFL star was tagged in that post as well.

Sterling and Bronze were recently present to see their dad defeat the San Francisco 49ers at the 2024 Super Bowl on Feb. 11.

The siblings got to spend the day at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for the Big Game matchup, which ended up being their father’s third Super Bowl win.

And while the moment may have been a proud one for Chiefs, Brittany admitted that someone in their family had other plans.

“Boy didn’t even make kickoff,” she wrote on a photo of Bronze snoozing.

“My oldest daughter, she can finally kind of realize what’s going on and where she’s at, and she loves to watch her dad play football. She can see him from a mile away and pays attention and keeps up with what’s going on with him,” Brittany told PEOPLE in January about taking her babies to the games.

She added that it’s “a very special moment wherever” she can take her kids to see their dad in action.

The Giants and Eagles are division rivals, and former Giants running back Tiki Barber made a big statement on his WFAN radio show on Thursday about how he feels if Barkley would join the Eagles.

Barber stated, “Barkley even wanting to play for that team in Philadelphia is insulting to his Giant’s history and legacy.”

Barber spent all of his ten NFL seasons in a Giants uniform. He knows all about the Giants—Eagles rivalry and how that would impact Barkley if he were to head to the city of Brotherly Love.

Barber also stated that Giants general manager Joe Schoen has been having conversations with Barkley, but it doesn’t seem like it will work out.

Barber also mentioned that Giants fans still want to be happy for Barkley. If he were to end up on a team like Houston and win a Super Bowl, Giants fans would be very happy for him, but if he joined the Eagles, all of that happiness and desire to see Barkley do well would go away.

Many fans will never be able to stomach leaving your team and joining that team’s biggest rival, and Barber is entirely correct here.

The New York Giants And Barkley Are On Two Different Paths

It doesn’t make sense for the Giants and Barkley to agree on a contract. The Giants are in rebuild mode. They have to figure out if Daniel Jones can be their quarterback moving forward, and if not, then who will? Barkley has only a few years left in the NFL as a running back, and with his injury history, he could be done at any moment. He needs to capitalize on that opportunity right now.

Barkley is in the same boat as Christian McCaffrey, who was on a bad Carolina Panthers team two years ago. The San Francisco 49ers traded for him and helped turn the team into a legit Super Bowl contender. A playoff team that needs that upgrade in the running back room could sign Barkley and do the same thing that McCaffrey was able to do for the 49ers.

It does seem like Barkley’s time in a Giants jersey has ended, and hopefully, for Giants fans, he doesn’t end up a few hours away with Eagles wings on his next uniform.
