The NFL wife and mom of three, 31, is partnering with Lindt as the brand debuts its first-ever Super Bowl commercial airing nationally during the first quarter. Kelce tells PEOPLE that she’s excited to back sweet snacks amid all the salty offerings at Super Bowl celebrations.

“I think that when it comes to football, the talk is always of the salty snacks, the savory stuff like wings and dips, sliders, all of that sort of stuff that you enjoy during the game. And I think that very few people put the focus on how to take a sweet turn after you’ve enjoyed all those salty snacks,” she says.

Of all the products the chocolate maker puts out, Lindor truffles are her go-to. “Everyone can get a flavor that they’d like. They’re also beautiful to look at on your table, so they’re a great complement to everything you traditionally think of for your game day spread,” she adds.

Jason probably leans more towards salty, although he regularly steals Lindor truffles from my stash,” she laughs. “I would say I’m smack dab in the middle. The Los Angeles Lakers have ruled out LeBron James for Thursday’s matchup versus the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.

At his All-Star Weekend press conference in Indianapolis on Sunday, LeBron hinted that he could miss the first game back from the break due to ankle treatment. (Minutes later, LeBron claimed to have no prior knowledge of reported trade deadline talks between the Warriors and Lakers. His absence Thursday means he’ll escape follow-up questions.)

“It possibly could,” said LeBron. “It depends on the recovery process. So, possibly. But we will see. I’m feeling okay. I definitely wasn’t going to put too much pressure on the game tonight… I want to try to be as healthy as I can be physically. This last part of the season is very important for us. I got to make sure of that.”

LeBron played 14 minutes in the All-Star Game, scoring eight points on 4-of-10 shooting.

LeBron, who has missed a handful of games this season with “left ankle peroneal tendinopathy,” was not at practice on Wednesday due to an “excused absence.”

Through 49 games into his 21st season, the 39-year-old is averaging 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 7.8 assists on 52% shooting (39.5% from 3) in 34.8 minutes per game.

The 30-26 Lakers, currently occupying the No. 9 spot in the Western Conference, are hoping to make a late-season charge, similar to the 16-7 post-All-Star run in 2023 that powered them within four games of the NBA Finals. They lead the Warriors by 1.5 games in the standings.

The last time the Lakers and Warriors squared off, LeBron and Steph delighted basketball fans with a vintage double-overtime classic. Alas.

In TikTok footage from the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, one Swiftie zoomed in on the Eagles-branded lanyard around Scott’s neck, even though the rest of his outfit featured Chiefs gear.

“kylie and jason…i’m onto you,” the video’s creator, Bethenny Pendleton wrote alongside the pics, insinuating that the couple may have had something to do with Scott’s new Eagles swag.

And Kylie all but confirmed the theory when she commented on the post, writing “Have you ever seen the grinch smile gif?”

But that doesn’t mean Taylor and Travis have gone out of style. After all, Taylor had to jet off to Australia for her Feb. 16 Eras Tour show in Melbourne, and with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. ACT—a.k.a. 9:30 pm PST on Feb. 15—that didn’t leave the Grammy winner enough time to hang out in Kansas City and take a 25-hour-plus flight to the Aussie town.

And while Taylor didn’t make it to Kansas City this time, she did receive a big invitation. In fact, the city’s Major Quinton Lucas personally shut down rumors that officials had specifically asked the “Blank Space” singer not to attend for security reasons.

 

“Not true at all,” Lucas clarified on X Feb. 13. “Just had a great chat with (Kansas City Missouri Police Department) Chief (Stacey) Graves. We’re enchanted to welcome everyone to tomorrow’s parade and the women and men of our police department are prepared to keep all safe.”
