Jason Kelce has had so much fun cheering on his brother, Travis Kelce, during the Chiefs’ playoff run the past few weeks, including a wild afternoon in Buffalo where he took off his shirt and celebrated like a mad man during Kansas City’s big win.

The Philadelphia Eagles center is in Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII, where the Chiefs will be looking to win back to back titles when they face the 49ers, and he picked a great outfit to wear to the game.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime on Sunday to secure their second consecutive Super Bowl title and cement their status as the National Football League’s latest dynasty.

The Chiefs have now won three Super Bowls in five years and are the NFL’s first repeat champions since the New England Patriots in February 2005.

Drinking from a gold bottle of champagne, Travis Kelce led a rowdy rendition of ‘We Are The Champions’ in the Kansas City Chiefs locker room as he celebrated his fairytale ending to an NFL season like no other.

Moments earlier, Kelce told reporters he felt ‘on top of the world’ after winning a second straight Super Bowl and celebrating by kissing his girlfriend Taylor Swift on the field. The singer had raced back to Las Vegas from Japan and four straight Eras Tour shows, the last of which was Saturday night, to cheer him on.

She was joined in VIP suite – that Kelce apparently paid $1million for – by Blake Lively, rapper Ice Spice, parents Andrea and Scott and Kelce’s family. Together, they endured the tension of one of the most dramatic Super Bowls in history as the Chiefs recorded a gripping 25-22 overtime victory over San Francisco 49ers.

But as Kelce, 34, was pictured spearheading the celebrations in Sin City while his teammates passed round cigars, it could not be forgotten how he was nearly the villain of the piece when things were not going his team’s way in the first half at a thunderous Allegiant Stadium.

With the Chiefs offense spluttering, Kelce was called off the field for a play by head coach Andy Reid but with the end zone in sight, wide receiver Isiah Pacheco made a rare fumble and the 49ers reclaimed possession of the ball.

For just the second time in NFL history, the Super Bowl is headed to overtime.

Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker sent the game to overtime when he hit a 29-yard field goal with just three seconds left to play to tie things up at 19 with the 49ers. It was Butker’s fourth field goal of the game.

If there’s anyone on the field who knows about Super Bowl overtime, it’s definitely Kyle Shanahan. The 49ers coach was on the field for the first Super Bowl overtime when his Falcons lost to the Patriots 34-28 in Super Bowl LI. The Falcons famously blew a 28-3 lead in a game where Shanahan was the offensive coordinator.

For the first time ever, both teams will be allowed to get a possession in overtime. Here are the rules for the postseason, which were implemented in 2022:

The captain who lost the first overtime coin toss will either choose to possess the ball or select which goal his team will defend, unless the team that won the coin toss deferred that choice.
Each team will have an opportunity to possess the ball in overtime.
Each team gets three timeouts during a half.
The same timing rules that apply at the end of the second and fourth regulation periods also apply at the end of a second or fourth overtime period.
If there is still no winner at the end of a fourth overtime period, there will be another coin toss, and play will continue until a winner is declared.

The rules were changed in 2022 after the Bills didn’t get the ball in an overtime loss to the Chiefs during the 2021 divisional playoffs.

Taylor Swift was joined by family and friends as she watched Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs face off against the San Francisco 49ers at the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The “Cruel Summer” singer, 34, was seen cheering for her boyfriend’s team from a VIP suite at Allegiant Stadium along with her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, as well as her brother, Austin Swift.

The Swift crew was joined in the pricey box, which was paid for by the tight end, by the Kelce family, including Eagles center Jason, wife Kylie and Travis’ parents, Donna and Ed.

Her pals Blake Lively, Ice Spice and Ashley Avignone rounded out the jam-packed VIP booth.

The “Blank Space” songstress matched her beau in a black bedazzled look with a custom Stephanie Gottlieb “87” necklace ($4,250).

Taylor touched down in Sin City right before game day after performing one of her Eras Tour concerts in Tokyo the evening before.

And the Chiefs honored the 14-time Grammy Award winner as the DJ used some of her earliest hits to round off the evening at XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas.

Before their celebratory smooch, Swift and Kelce were captured jumping up and down as they sung the lyric, ‘You’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess,’ to one another.

It was a fitting ending to Chiefs Kingdom’s fairytale season, given Swift and Kelce’s love story has dominated headlines and games.

In several clips shared to social media, the nightclub can be seen packed with thousands of Chiefs fans celebrating the victory with the reigning champions while a remix of Swift’s 2008 hit ‘You Belong With Me’ plays.

The tight end, who had nine receptions for 93 yards and zero touchdowns in the Chiefs’ thrilling 25-22 overtime win, could be seen in a DJ booth dancing to his girlfriend’s song.

Kelce led the crowd and turned to his better half during the eponymous line while pointing to himself.

The global superstar herself was even caught singing along to her own tune, pointing to someone in the crowd – likely Kelce – before lifting up her drink and dancing along.

Shortly afterwards, the house lights dropped and the song became a techno remix with the VIP attendees bouncing along.

Kelce, dressed in the same sparkling black outfit by AMIRI that was custom-made for his Super Bowl arrival, was seen sharing the moment with Swift, while also rallying his crowd of admirers from the DJ booth.

The three-time Super Bowl winner grabbed the mic and shouted, ‘Let’s go Chiefs’, while bopping his head from the booth.

He continued his MC-type role as he revved the crowd up, at one point leading them in a chant of ‘Na, na, na, na, hey, hey, goodbye!’ Although it’s unclear who this was directed at.

He also posed for a celebratory snap with Andy Reid – despite his mid-game meltdown at the head coach – and held up three fingers to represent the Super Bowls they have won together.

The team had initially kickstarted their celebrations at Zouk but around 2am local time, The Chainsmokers’ Alex Patell posted a photo showing the group piling into a private jet on the tarmac in Vegas. ‘Let’s go home,’ the caption read.

However, Kelce and co. kept the party going as they headed over to XS Nightclub at around 2.15am.

They were greeted to an over-the-top welcome which included oversized signage and LED screens that read ‘XS welcomes 2024 champs,’ red and yellow confetti flying in the air, and Queen’s popular song ‘We Are The Champions’ blasting throughout the speakers.
