A Kansas City Chiefs jersey autographed by Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift has sold at auction for more than $15,000, with the proceeds going to children with debilitating illnesses.
The Guelph Wish Fund, an Ontario, Canada-based nonprofit, put the signed jersey up for auction along with a photo of the star tight end and another pic of the power couple.
The organization raises money for children under the age of 19 who are grappling with ‘significant illness, life-altering injury or a rare and debilitating syndrome,’ according to its website.
Twenty-five bids had been placed by the time the auction closed Sunday. The jersey fetched a whopping $21,000 CAD, around $15,574 USD – and came with a certificate of authenticity.
The sale came exactly one week after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Kansas City surged to victory in overtime with final score of 25-22, with Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes dominating much of the conversation.
Swift was in attendance with an equally famous entourage of actresses and musicians.
In a moment shared thousands of times by fans on social media, the singer-songwriter ran onto the field to meet Kelce in a kiss after the big win.
‘I’ve never been so proud in my life. I can’t believe you. How did you do that?’ Swift asked after the pair embraced.
‘How do you not have jet lag right now?’ Kelce responded.
The pair were later seen partying at a nightclub with Swift’s parents in tow.
The pop star posted a video of their night out to social media, panning past her parents as they sat in bottle service while hip hop music blared.
‘It’s a friends and family event they said,’ Swift wrote. ‘Bring your parents they said.’
Her athlete beau also came into frame, sticking his tongue out.
The sale came mere days after gunfire erupted at the Kansas City victory parade, where over 20 were injured and a mother of two was killed
However, the joy was short-lived, as a victory parade in Kansas City turned deadly. Gunshots rang out the afternoon of February 14 as an estimated 1million people descended on the city.
Two juveniles whose names are being withheld by authorities were charged in connection to the shooting.
Over 20 people were injured while Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a mother of two and a disc jockey for a community radio station, was killed.
Swift contributed $100,000 to a GoFundMe campaign organized by the woman’s family.
Accompanying the donation was a note: ‘Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss.’
Kelce was slammed for meeting up with teammates for dinner mere hours after the violence broke out.
On Friday night, the athlete’s charity, the Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation, made two $50,000 donations to the children of Erika Reyes.
Reyes, a cousin of Lopez-Galvan, created a GoFundMe page after her two daughters were each shot in the leg.
