Look away, Riley, Ryan and Canon! Stephen Curry shared a rare risqué photo with his wife, Ayesha Curry, while on vacation together.

Though they quickly became one of Hollywood’s most powerful couples, Stephen and Ayesha Curry’s love story had a humble beginning. The NBA star was 15 years old when he and the Seasoned Life author, then 14, met at church in North Carolina. Though they’ve both since admitted they were fond of each other at a […]

The Golden State Warriors point guard, 31, took to Instagram on Sunday, February 16, to upload a picture of the Family Food Fight host, 30, straddling him and licking his forehead as he stares down at her chest. He is shirtless in the snap, while she rocks a strapless green bikini.

“Vacation vibes with my one and only 😍 like dat!” Stephen captioned the post.

In the comments section, Ayesha wrote, “You coulda at least popped a filter on this. 😩 I love you though.”

Several Instagram users joked in the comments section that they would not be surprised if the couple, who rarely post steamy photos together, end up having another child.

Singer Lecrae commented, “Welp..number 4 otw [on the way],” while another fan wrote, “That’s how u keep getting more kids right there!”

Check out some of the most revealing and shocking nude photos celebrities have shared on either Instagram or Twitter, including Nicki Minaj taking a topless selfie and Ke$ha posing seductively for the camera.

Stephen and Ayesha met at a church youth group in Charlotte, North Carolina, when they were 15 and 14, respectively. They started dating years later in 2008 and went on to marry in July 2011. They are now the parents of three children: daughters Riley, 7, and Ryan, 4, and son Canon, 19 months.

“Each day with you is the ultimate blessing,” the Seasoned Life cookbook author wrote on Instagram in July 2019 in honor of their eighth wedding anniversary. “Getting to do life with you is an infinite sea of bliss. Through our ups and downs we only become stronger and that is the ultimate key. When the trauma becomes the triumph you win! I love you for ever and always constantly giving the ultimate glory to God. Here’s to 8!”

Stephen made headlines in December 2019 when his alleged nude photos surfaced on Twitter. His agent said the images were “absolutely” not real, while Ayesha later joked about cooking “eggplant parmesan” on Instagram Live in an apparent reference to the scandal. “Perfect, right?” she said with a laugh.

The Golden State Warriors haʋe doмinated the NBA since 2015, as they haʋe won four titles in the last nine years.

Stephen Curry has Ƅeen the center of the Warriors’ doмinance oʋer the past few years.

Apart froм Curry, Steʋe Kerr has played a crucial role in the teaм’s success as well, after all, he is the head coach of the teaм.

Curry and Kerr share great cheмistry, and it has Ƅeen eʋident throughout the years.

A great exaмple of the Ƅond Ƅetween the two is when Curry recently shared a story aƄout his coach, ʋia Warriors on NBCS on Twitter.

“He neʋer puts hiмself aƄoʋe or Ƅelow anyƄody, Ƅut he has a fire that coмes with hiм,” Curry said of Kerr.

Curry took a trip down мeмory lane to descriƄe Kerr’s selfless attitude.

He reʋealed how Curry allowed the Warriors to coach theмselʋes during a мatchup against the Phoenix Suns during the 2017-18 NBA season.

It was a great exaмple of how Kerr neʋer puts hiмself aƄoʋe anyone.

This Ƅehaʋior has allowed Kerr to flourish in the NBA, first as a player and now as a coach.

So far, Kerr has won a total of nine NBA chaмpionships.

He retired froм the NBA as a fiʋe-tiмe chaмpion and continued his legacy Ƅy leading the Warriors to four titles.

A great exaмple of Kerr’s coaching aƄility is the fact that his 2023 playoff defeat against the Los Angeles Lakers was the first tiмe he lost Ƅefore the NBA Finals during the playoffs.

Although Kerr’s streak is broken, his confidence is мost certainly intact.

Can Kerr win another ring with the Warriors, or are his days of doмinance oʋer?

Stephen Curry’s Unforgettable Surprise Ayesha Curry Left Speechless by ‘Beautiful’ Vow Renewal on 12th Wedding Anniversary

STEPH CURRY SURPRISED HIS WIFE, AYESHA, WITH A 10-YEAR VOW RENEWAL CEREMONY OFFICIATED BY THEIR DAUGHTER, RILEY

They’re letting love lead the way!

Steph Curry surprised his wife with a 10-year vow renewal ceremony officiated by their daughter, The Grio reports.

Curry and his wife, Ayesha, met nearly two decades ago at a church in North Carolina, reconnecting after seeing each other in Hollywood when Ayesha was pursuing her acting career, and Steph was in town for an awards show.

Ayesha moved back to North Carolina to be close to him when he played basketball at Davidson College. The two married on July 30, 2011, just two years after he got drafted into the NBA. The two built a life together, Steph becoming a star player with the Golden State Warriors and Ayesha becoming successful as a lifestyle and wellness influencer with a strong brand and her own cookware line. Together, the two have three beautiful children and have become an example of what a thriving marriage can look like.

Recently, Steph surprised Ayesha with a vow renewal ceremony in honor of their 10th wedding anniversary. Ayesha took to social media to share the surprise with her followers and a photo from their backyard ceremony.

“A couple of weeks ago, @stephencurry30 surprised me with the most beautiful vow renewal ceremony. He even picked out my dress for me and had it waiting. Our big girl Riley officiated, and Ryan and Canon walked me through the grass of our backyard. It’s everything I’ve always dreamed of but didn’t know could be possible in this way. A moment I will never forget. I love you,” she wrote.

Ayesha previously spoke to reporters about what she thinks makes their marriage strong, crediting quality time and date nights.

“Putting ourselves first, and making sure that we make time for date nights and for each other. That’s been very important, as hard as it is,” said Ayesha.

    Congratulations to The Currys!

The ties to basketball run deep in Stephen Curry’s family.

His father, Dell Curry, played in the NBA for nearly two decades. Dell first met Steph’s mom, Sonya Curry, at Virginia Tech, and the two wed in 1988. They went on to welcome three children together: sons Steph and Seth and daughter Sydel. However, in August 2021, Dell and Sonya announced they were divorcing after 33 years of marriage.

“My mom is an educator, so [giving back] was a part of her job,” Stephen told PEOPLE of his mother in November 2020. “It was staying late after school, mentoring, kids, talking to parents, giving them encouragement. … She had to be selfless and sacrifice a lot of time.”

The Golden State Warriors player also praised his father, saying, “My dad, every chance he got, he was doing things in the community. … He always showed up in a meaningful way.”

Here’s what to know about Steph Curry’s parents, including what the basketball star has said about them over the years.

During Sonya’s official recruiting visit to Virginia Tech, where she would go on to play volleyball, she spotted her future husband at men’s basketball practice, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

When Dell was drafted into the NBA a few years later, the couple moved to Utah so he could begin his professional career with the Utah Jazz.

From 1986 until 2002, Dell was in the NBA, where he played for five teams including the Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors. Most notably, he was a star guard on the Charlotte Hornets for 10 seasons.

“I taught my boys the fundamentals of the game and fundamentals of the shot,” Dell told Reuters in 2020. “They had to have their own work ethic and dedication, of course being around the game, watching myself and some of the best players in the world, my teammates, really helped to show them how the pros go about doing it. But they had to have their own self-discipline and dedication.”

His accolades include being inducted into the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 1996 and retiring as the all-time leading scorer in Hornets’ history. In addition to supporting his own sons in their NBA careers, the father of three has been a commentator on Charlotte Hornets television broadcasts since 2009.

Sonya and Dell are parents to three children. Their first son, Steph, was born in 1988, while their second son, Seth, was born in 1990. They welcomed their daughter Sydel in 1994.

The former couple are also grandparents to six. Steph shares three children — Riley, Ryan and Canon — with his wife Ayesha Curry and Seth has two kids — Carter and Cash — with his wife Callie Rivers Currys. Sydel and husband Damion Lee’s first child, a son, was born in 2021.

Though Steph and Seth might be in the NBA just like their dad, Steph also gives credit to his mom for some of his skills.

“A lot of people say whatever defensive abilities I have, I get from her,” the father of three told SF Gate in 2013. “My toughness and grittiness.”

“She’s a strong woman,” the NBA champion added of his mother. “Growing up in an NBA household, with my dad being on the road a lot, she did a great job with me and my siblings. She deserves a lot of credit for how we turned out.”

Dell and Sonya have given back to their communities

In 1995, the couple founded the Christian Montessori School of Lake Norman, a preschool in Huntersville, North Carolina. Three years later, Dell established the Dell Curry Foundation, a youth-focused organization based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“I think the parents of the house are the biggest role models. But as the main players, all the kids are watching how we go about our lives and I think giving back to community is a big part of that. I’ve always been a proponent of giving back and supporting your community, and I’m so proud of my sons for seeing that and continuing that tradition,” Dell told Reuters.

    They separated in 2021

In August 2021, Dell and Sonya confirmed to PEOPLE they were separating after 33 years of marriage. “After exploring a trial separation over the past year and much thoughtful consideration, we have decided to end our marriage. As this comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus and desire is for our family’s continued happiness.”

They continued, “We are so thankful for all the many blessings and successes! We stay committed to and supportive of our children and grandchildren and will remain on connected paths. We ask that our privacy be respected and prayer for our family as we move forward.”

The mother of three’s memoir, Fierce Love, explores raising her family, being steadied by her faith through hard times and her passion for education.

Released in May 2022, Sonya told PEOPLE she wrote Fierce Love to “share my story, my testimony, and my experience so that others may find strength and purpose in their own journeys. I want to encourage others to pray continuously, live intentionally, love fiercely, and laugh daily!”

“My mom was always the one to challenge us growing up,” Seth shared in a press release. “You can see her greatest qualities in each and every one of us.”

Sydel added, “I can’t wait for everyone to meet my mom through her powerful story. My mom has been such a pillar for our family.”

When the Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics in June 2022, Sonya and Dell were both there to embrace their son, now a four-time NBA champion, who was named MVP of the 2022 NBA Finals.

Just before the buzzer sounded to end the game, Steph was overcome with emotion and hugged his father. “I didn’t even know [Dell] was down there, to be honest with you,” he shared. “I saw him and I lost it, and I knew the clock was kind of running out. I just wanted to take in the moment because it was that special.”

Dell checks in with Steph and Seth every week

Dell can relate to the pressures of the NBA, so he tries to touch base with his sons at least once a week.

“I watch all their games, whether live or taped, and I try to check in with them every week,” he told PEOPLE in April 2023.

But their conversations are rarely about basketball.

“[We] talk about golf and grandkids more than basketball,” Dell said, adding that he says “nothing” to Steph or Seth when their teams are playing poorly. “They’re grown men, they’ve been in the league long enough to know how this league is — you can’t get too high or too low.”

He continued: “That’s the fun part about being a dad and a fan and knowing what they’re going through as far as being an NBA player. Sometimes, you just need to talk about everything but basketball when you’re having a rough patch.”

Ayesha Curry is putting an end to “ridiculous” rumors she’s in an open relationship with her NBA superstar husband, Stephen Curry … saying it’s 100% not true.

Ayesha — who married Steph in 2011 — is breaking her silence weeks after gossip blogs reported (citing an anonymous tip) the adored couple wasn’t monogamous … denying the claims in a response to an Instagram troll.

“Don’t believe everything you read,” Curry said on Monday. “Do you know how ridiculous that is? Don’t disrespect my marriage like that. Please and thank you.”

Of course, the Currys first met as teens in Charlotte, N.C. … but didn’t start dating until years later.

The couple got hitched on July 30, 2011 … and went on to have 3 kids together — Riley (9), Ryan (6), and Canon (3).

The “last dance” talk began well before this series, and it’s not going to stop any time soon.

Steve Kerr said that it usually takes about 24 hours to get over a playoff loss. Take your lumps, contemplate your regrets, then move on. It’s going to take the Golden State Warriors much longer than that to get over the way that their season just ended.

After a mediocre regular season, the Warriors were blown out in Game 6 against LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday to put an end to their bid for a second straight title. If we’re being honest, Golden State could have been sent packing in the first round by the upstart Sacramento Kings were it not for a historic, superhuman 50-point Game 7 performance from Steph Curry.

The evidence was in front of us all season and, despite stretches that attempted to convince us otherwise, the truth became clear: These Warriors were just not good enough. That’s the reality. We know it, and the team knows it.

“To be fair, I think this team ultimately maxed out,” Kerr said after being eliminated on Friday. “We were barely in the playoff picture most of this year … This is not a championship team. If we were, we’d be moving on.”

When that’s the case, the urge to move directly to roster detonation can be strong. This team doesn’t work, the core has run its course, time to move on. You’ll undoubtedly read and hear plenty of ideas about how that can and should happen. Our Sam Quinn penned a very convincing argument involving the ramifications of the ungodly luxury tax bill headed toward the Warriors’ check book next season.

But what if blowing it up isn’t necessarily the answer? Assuming Curry, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney aren’t going anywhere, let’s look at the three the most highly discussed options through a realistic prism.

    Get rid of Draymond Green

The Warriors’ chemistry was unquestionably off-kilter this season, and it doesn’t take Benoit Blanc to charismatically unearth the culprit. Draymond Green punched Jordan Poole before the season started and was not suspended for any regular season games. Even if the players, Poole included, said they quickly moved on, something like that lingers.

Alright, so let’s get rid of Draymond, right?

First off, it’s Green’s decision whether he wants to exercise his $27.6 million option for next season. If he opts in, the Warriors could trade him, but there is significant skepticism about how Green would fare in a system outside Golden State, so it would be interesting to see what the offers would look like. Green will turn 34 next season and has done nothing but win in his entire career, so the rumors about him opting out to sign with his hometown Detroit Pistons or another cap space team seem unrealistic.

Despite all the baggage that Green brings, he’s the engine of this team on both ends of the floor. He just made second team All-Defense, and led the team in assists for the seventh time in eight seasons. The Warriors aren’t the Warriors without him, so losing Green — whether in free agency or through a trade — would be a devastating blow.

“Every season is made up of events. Some are great, some are not,” Green said after the Game 6 loss. “It’s things going on and you band together and you try to work around them. And I think, for the most part, we tried to do that. We fell short. That happens, but overall, we’re not done yet. We lost this year. We’ll be back next year.”

    Trade Klay Thompson

This will be an even more popular refrain after Thompson’s cringeworthy 3-for-19 performance in the decisive Game 6 — the very game that helped grow his legend, no less. Thompson has one more season on his contract which will pay him $40-plus million, certainly an overpay at this stage in his career. But if Thompson’s value has diminished for the Warriors, it has certainly diminished throughout the league, so what are you going to get for him at that price?

You can trade him to a cap space team for assets and relief on the gargantuan luxury tax bill, but then how do you replace him? For all of his faults, Thompson was one of only five players this season — yes, five — to average at least 21.9 points per game on 40 percent or better 3-point shooting. The others are the elite of the elite: Curry, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard and Jalen Brunson.

So don’t let the poor postseason sour the taste of what was a phenomenal comeback year for Thompson. The challenge he now faces is continued evolution, as both he and Kerr mentioned throughout the season, so that he can affect games positively even when he’s not scoring.

On top of the basketball side, Thompson is an institution in the Bay Area. There’s no telling what kind of ill will the Warriors would generate by sending him packing, and how that would negatively affect the balance of an already teetering locker room. Thompson is reportedly seeking a max extension, and we can be fairly certain that’s not happening. But extending him on a reasonable deal could be the answer for a player whose primary elite skill — shooting — should be able to carry into the later years of his career until he eventually retires as a Warrior.

    Trade Jordan Poole

Poole just suffered through one of the most abysmal postseasons in recent memory, looking futile and lost in what few minutes he actually received against the Lakers and averaging a meager 10.3 points on 34/25/77 splits in the playoffs. Recency bias might tell you that he needs to go — after all, he didn’t have the best regular season either.

But who’s going to provide sufficient assets for Poole after a season like that, knowing that his $128 million extension doesn’t even kick in until next season? Also keep in mind that Poole is 23 years old and coming off his first full season where teams scouted and game-planned for him. Sure, his attitude can be polarizing, but there’s never been any question about Poole’s work ethic. He transformed himself from a G Leaguer to 20-point scorer, so who knows where another summer in the lab will take him.

It became clear when Poole lost minutes that he is the only Warrior besides Curry who can consistently create off the dribble. That would be a tough piece to lose in a salary dump move, assuming that the offers that come in won’t involve any true difference-makers. Perhaps betting on Poole’s improvement — the reason the Warriors paid him in the first place — is the prudent direction.

    The bottom line

The bottom line is this: Curry is still good enough to be the best player on a championship team, so the Warriors need to be very careful with any moves that might fail to take full advantage of his sustained prime. It’s easy to say because it’s not our money, but Joe Lacob and the ownership group have been more than willing to fork over money for a winner, so why stop now when there’s no clear path to shedding salary and staying relevant in one fell swoop?

The “two timelines” experiment may have gone kaput with James Wiseman already shipped out of town, but Moses Moody provided quality postseason minutes that could springboard his development and Jonathan Kuminga — though he was a DNP for most of the playoffs — has shown incredible promise as a defender and finisher.

A team with Curry, Thompson, Wiggins, Green, Looney, Poole and Gary Payton II — along with potential improvement from Moody, Kuminga and possibly little-used rookie Patrick Baldwin Jr., seems like a much better starting off point for a championship than whatever Golden State could get in trades.

The Warriors may very well part ways with one or more of their core pieces this summer, but don’t be surprised if they decide that what they have is still more than capable of winning a title next season.

“We lost, so that’s, like, a hard truth at the end of the journey,” Curry said after being eliminated on Friday. “Really never heard that from us before in terms of trying to make sense of losing a series like we did, unless it’s been in the Finals. So, we’ve got to accept it, move on and try to be better next year.”

The NBA All-Star Game has been and gone for another year, with Team LeBron defeating Team Durant 170-150 and Giannis Antetokounmpo taking home the Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP award.

But what else did we learn? Well, quite a lot as it happens.

    GM LeBron

From the moment LeBron James finished selecting his starting five – himself, Stephen Curry, Giannis, Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic – you knew Team Durant would be in a hell of a lot of trouble come All-Star night.

If that wasn’t enough, throw in Damian Lillard as the first name off the bench for good measure.

Sure, there were mitigating circumstances. Kevin Durant had his hands tied with the first pick (Brooklyn Nets team-mate Kyrie Irving) and lost one of his best starters in Joel Embiid due to Covid-19 protocols before the game.

The Golden State Warriors are known for their impeccable ball movement as much as their shooting. A product of Mark Jackson laying the ground work and Steve Kerr completing the master plan for the Warriors’ offense, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and company whip the rock around the perimeter with as much precision as any team in NBA history.

Recently the Warriors’ coach revealed the truth about Anthony Davis’s playoff dominance last season that will upset many Dubs fans. Kerr also spoke highly of the Western Conference’s depth, a statement that should worry Golden State fans everywhere.

On Saturday the Warriors took on the Lakers in preseason action. During a routine offensive possession Kerr’s team began passing the ball around like a hot potato, only to watch the ball end up in forward Jonathan Kuminga’s hands.

Kuminga looked to the Warriors’ sideline in an attempt to find an open man in the corner. He threw a pass that sailed right into the waiting arms of the right player at the absolute wrong time.

The Warriors led the Lakers in the third quarter of preseason action as their precise ball movement and deft outside shooting touch caused plenty of problems for Darvin Ham and the Lakers.

The Warriors’ preseason lasts until October 20 after which the team is expected to take on the Phoenix Suns in the season opener, on October 24 in the Bay Area.

Following that matchup, a three-game road trip awaits, kicking off in Sacramento against last year’s playoff foes.

The tests are expected to come swiftly this season for the Dubs — and with over two weeks still to go, there’s plenty of time to tighten things up on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

Stephen Curry Does Special Handshake with Daughter Riley on the Sidelines After Warriors Win: Watch

In April, the athlete made time for a special moment with Riley at a game. She watched from the crowd as her dad led a win against the Sacramento Kings.

After the victory, Curry made his way over to Riley in the stands, reaching up to her to perform a special handshake the two have made together, a tradition between them dating back years.

In February, Curry and Riley were seen on a father-daughter day, visiting Stanford University — where his godsister, Cameron Brink, plays — to watch the school’s women’s basketball team play against the University of Southern California.

This past December, the four-time NBA champion spoke about his children to E! News at the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Awards.

Asked if his children are “impressed” with him “as other people are,” Curry, the honoree of the evening, responded, “I would hope to say yes but probably for different reasons. I don’t think they care too much about how many times the ball goes in the basket.”

The father of three continued, “They’ve been to a couple parades and all that, so they enjoy the festivities of celebrating a championship. But when you’re at home you’re just Dad and that’s the best part about it.”

Who Is Stephen Curry’s Sister? All About Sydel Curry-Lee

Sydel Curry-Lee is married to an NBA player and is currently pregnant with her second baby

NBA star Stephen Curry’s little sister Sydel Curry-Lee is forging her own path.

The youngest of three siblings, Sydel was born in 1994 into a basketball family. Her father, Dell Curry, played in the NBA for nearly two decades, while her older brothers Stephen and Seth are both professional basketball players.

“People underestimating me is pretty much my life from the moment I started playing sports to now,” the former college volleyball player told Togethxr in 2020. When she walked around her college campus, she heard her classmates whispering, “Oh, that’s Steph Curry’s sister.”

But since graduating from Elon University in 2017, Sydel has pursued many interests, including running a lifestyle blog, launching a podcast and advocating for mental health. She is also a wife to NBA player Damion Lee and a soon-to-be mother of two.

“I feel like I’ve done a really good job at creating my own person and creating my own identity outside of my brothers,” she said.

Sydel still has the support of her big brothers though. When she told Steph and his wife Ayesha Curry that she was pregnant with her first child in 2021, the two screamed in pure excitement, as seen in a video shared by the Golden State Warriors. Both of her brothers also served as groomsmen at her 2018 wedding.

So, who is Stephen Curry’s sister? Here’s everything to know about Sydel Curry-Lee.

    She played volleyball in college

While Sydel didn’t follow in her family’s footsteps when it came to basketball, she did play volleyball at Elon University from 2014 to 2016. She was redshirted as a freshman due to a dislocated knee cap and started playing in 2014.

She was underestimated a lot during college, Sydel recalled, with some people even questioning her talent. “I remember one of the first things I ever heard when I was playing volleyball is, ‘You’re only here because of your family.’ “

Sydel was named the team’s MVP in 2016, the same year she was named NCCSIA First Team All-State. However, she retired from volleyball in 2017 after an injury.

“I have dedicated so much of my life, my identity, to my sport. As an athlete and a competitor, I will always want to put my sport before a lot of things,” she wrote on Facebook. “I never thought that my first grown-up decision about my future would be something so difficult.”

She graduated with a degree in psychology the same year.

She’s a big advocate for mental health

Sydel is using her platform for good. She’s very open on her Instagram account and on her own blog, “A Curry Girl,” about her own struggles with mental health.

“I’ve always had a passion for mental health, not that I’ve had to deal with it on my own. I’ve always been curious about the mind and helping others but I really want, literally in a sense, to save lives,” she told Essence in 2020. “We’ve seen in the past week or so how many people have taken their lives because [they were] at a point in their life that they thought it’s never going to get better. So with my brand called A Curry Girl and the platform that I have, that’s all I want to do is just change the stigma behind [people] being not being able to speak about how you’re feeling and not being in a culture where social media is just about jokes and people not taking other people seriously.”

In May 2021, Sydel launched a podcast called Because Life, which “aims to de-stigmatize the discussion around mental health and offer first-hand advice on how we can all discuss the subject better as well as things we can do to improve our mental health,” per the podcast’s description.

Recently in March 2023, she spoke to Ferrum College about the importance of mental health. “Dusted off my speechin’ skills and spoke to @ferrum_college students today! I left feeling so encouraged by the progress that’s being made in colleges and universities by creating safe spaces for students to feel seen and heard in their mental health journeys,” she wrote on Instagram.

She’s married to NBA player Damion Lee

Sydel and her now-husband Damion Lee, who plays for the Phoenix Suns, met at a college basketball game while she was at Elon University and he was a student at Drexel University.

“He was walking up the stairs, I was sitting in the stands and we kind of made eye contact,” she told Munaluchi Bride. After exchanging DMs and going on a few dates, they officially became a couple.

As for the proposal, Sydel explained she had one requirement. “My one wish for a proposal was to have all my family in the same room when the time came. He planned it on a weekend that both of our families would be in town for different reasons.”

The pair got married on Sept. 1, 2018, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Steph’s wife Ayesha served as her matron of honor while his daughters were flower girls.

The day after the wedding Sydel shared photos on her Instagram along with a special message for her husband: “I love this man more than words can tell but now i get to live my life showing it and telling him every day! I have tons of people to thank but right now, I just need to relish in the fact that I have found my soulmate, we are now one, and I am Mrs. Lee!!!!!”

As a wedding gift, Steph gave his sister something pretty special. He had the women’s volleyball locker room at Elon University named after her.

“Just want to say congratulations on getting married this weekend, that’s a big occasion, I know it’s crazy,” Steph said in a video message. “But we also want to congratulate you on an amazing career at Elon playing volleyball, all you did for the school and the program, and wanted to give it back to you with the new locker room for Sydel Curry.”

    She has a son

On Nov. 26, 2021, Sydel and Lee welcomed a baby boy, Daxon Wardell-Xavier Lee.

“No words are enough to describe the bliss of having my sweet son here. We are in newborn bliss and soaking in every single moment,” she wrote on Instagram.

Ahead of Daxon’s birth, Sydel shared photos of her nursery exclusively with PEOPLE. “We want this to be his place of solace, a safe space for him to rest and feel at home,” she shared, while her husband added, “It’s a great space for us to get away from all the distractions of the outside world and focus on our baby.”

And following their baby’s arrival, the new parents opened up about keeping the spark alive in their marriage on Sydel’s podcast, calling it “very hard.”

“Someone gave us the advice to do the deed for a whole month. Like every day of the month. We got to day like 15 and we were like, no,” she shared. “I think that’s a very hard thing to do. I don’t think it happens a lot in relationships … I haven’t met anyone who has kept the spark the whole time while trying to conceive because it’s such a mental thing.”

She is a Taylor Swift fan

“Went for Paramore, left invested if Betty ever took James back! #erastour Hayley Williams is EVERYTHING & Taylor just did the dang thing! A 3 1/2 hour set is unreal and she didn’t miss at all! Thanks @ryanquint_ for the invite!”

A few weeks later, she shared a close-up of her bump and wrote, “What a privilege it is to see you grow. To feel you move. To imagine what who you’ll look like. Who you’ll act like. My precious little one. Take your time but we are ready for you.”
