The game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos was the main event. But Travis Kelce couldn’t help but be distracted by what was happening in the stands at Arrowhead Stadium on October 12. When he looked up, the tight end saw his dad, Ed Kelce, talking to new flame Taylor Swift.

 

“This is a terrifying conversation, I felt terrible for Taylor,” Travis, who had nine catches for 124 yards during the home team’s win in Missouri, later joked on his popular “New Heights” podcast. “All he’s doing is just absolutely pumping her up. He started listening to her music a little more.”

Taylor has now met both of his parents — previously bonding with matriarch Donna Kelce at Chiefs matchups in Kansas City, Missouri, as well as East Rutherford, New Jersey — despite being linked to Travis only since September. The relationship shows no signs of slowing down, either. In fact, the football player is so serious about the singer that he reportedly just bought a more private love nest in the Show Me State for $6 million after photographers caught Taylor spending the night at his $995,000 home there.

“They’re already making plans for the future,” shares a source. “He and Taylor have even talked about kids. Travis wants them in the next year or so, and Taylor, of course, is all in. He’s exactly the guy she’s been waiting for!”

Taylor, 33, had to kiss a lot of frogs before finding Mr. Right. Next up? Getting the rest of the parents’ approval. After Taylor hit it off with the Kelces, “Travis has been invited to Tennessee to meet” Scott and Andrea Swift, says an insider. “They’re looking forward to spending the holidays together, too. His schedule is crazy during football season, and she’s got more concerts coming up, but they’re working around all that.”

Indeed, while Taylor is performing in Brazil from November 24 to November 26, and Travis has a game in Las Vegas on November 26, the Grammy winner still “wants to find a way to host a big Thanksgiving dinner with both of their families,” shares the first source. “She says she’s ready to start traditions.”

According to the source, Taylor’s $17 million Rhode Island mansion is the probable setting for any festive gatherings later this year. But there’s also Travis’ new Kansas City pad to consider. “They toured houses together before he bought it,” says the source, noting the family-friendly mansion within a gated community boasts six bedrooms and six bathrooms plus a mini golf course, tennis court and waterfall-equipped pool. “Travis loves Taylor being at his games and hanging out in his city, and they’ve talked about both wanting to have a steady home base.”

So, says the source, expect Taylor to pop up a lot more in the luxury suites at Arrowhead Stadium. “Things have been so seamless and natural. Next, she added, “Made sure he didn’t miss a meal … even though I wasn’t allowed to eat anything.” The video showed Jason taking a bite of a huge sandwich. A beat later, he’s asleep in the same chair, with her adding her third point, “stayed well rested … while I was kept awake by my contraction and his snores.”

She concluded, “Couldn’t have done it without him,” and panned to baby Bennett in her arms. The next photos showed Jason holding his baby girl, looking tired from the day.

Less than two weeks after welcoming daughter Bennett Llewellyn, the newly-minted family of five celebrated daughter Elliotte Ray’s second birthday, as Kylie shared on Instagram Monday.

“A few days late, but Elliotte is officially 2!” Kylie captioned a set of pictures, which show the toddler smiling in a floral nightgown and winter beanie, standing and smiling in her crib and later in a store with her mom and big sister Wyatt, 3.

In a video shared, Kylie and her daughters were strolling around the store when the toddler spotted a t-shirt with the Philadelphia Eagles center’s face on it and pointed, saying, “dada” and “daddy” sweetly.

The mom of three, 30, also shared a photo on her Instagram Story of her homemade Bluey cake for the birthday girl.

“I said that as long as Ellie looked at this and said ‘It’s Bluey,’ that it would be a success,” she wrote. “When I asked her who was on the cake, she shrugged and said, ‘a bunny?’ ”

Speaking with PEOPLE 38 weeks into her pregnancy as she prepared to see her husband compete in Super Bowl LVII, Kylie opened up about what she loves about Jason as a girl dad.

“I don’t think in his life, Jason ever assumed that he would be the father of three daughters,” Kylie told PEOPLE.

“He would always be like, ‘No, no, we’ll get a boy. We’ll get a boy.’ And I’m like, ‘You got to stop challenging the universe. Stop saying it because you’re the universe is like, ‘Yeah, okay,’ ” she chuckled.

“I used to tell him before we had our first daughter, she’s gonna have you wrapped around her finger. He said, ‘I’m not gonna spoil her!’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t think you understand.’ ”

“It’s been amazing to see him sort of transformed from only having a brother, not having any first cousins, so really having like no experience with little girls. And now, he is absolutely head over heels in love with his daughters, and they feed that back to him tenfold,” she shared.

Travis Kelce is enjoying some time on the golf course following his Super Bowl win — and not in Australia with Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, was photographed playing golf at the Wynn Las Vegas Tuesday as fans try to determine if he’s going to make the long flight to Sydney to catch an Eras Tour show to support his Grammy-winning girlfriend.

The picture, which was shared by the Wynn’s VIP relations director Jasmin Medar, showed the pro athlete in slacks and a polo shirt as he approvingly looked down at a sign for a body of water called Lake Travis.

Fans — and the NFL player’s dad — are still speculating about Kelce’s Eras Tour travel plans as he enjoys his time in Sin City.

Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald Tuesday, Ed Kelce said, “Well, look, we spoke after the Super Bowl, and I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen.”

Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in the big game last week at Allegiant Stadium.

His brother Jason, a 13-year NFL veteran, watched the game in a suite while wearing Chiefs gear.

However, his wife Kylie donned a red long sleeved University of Cincinnati t-shirt.

Both brothers went to the college.

Yet, Kylie didn’t wear any Chiefs attire at the big game.

She appeared on Amazon’s Kelce documentary which captures Jason and the rest of his family’s lives.

Kylie opened up on the program that she won’t wear any attire supporting a team other than the Eagles.

“I am an Eagles fan to the extent of if Jason ever went and played for another team, I would [only] wear Kelce. I would not wear another team’s stuff,” she said.

“Travis was in the playoffs one year and the Eagles were not. So we went to a playoff game in Kansas City and I was like, ‘Do I have to [wear a Chiefs outfit]?’”

Kylie also revealed that she refused to watch the Super Bowl’s football action in real-time due to a “superstition.”

On the latest episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast released on Wednesday, guest Beau Allen gave his take on the story of how his Philadelphia Eagles teammate Jason, 36, fell asleep at the bar on his first date with now-wife Kylie, 31.

 

“That was physically one of the hardest things I’ve ever done,” Allen, 32, recalled on the podcast as Jason laughed. “That was harder than climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, maybe,” he joked.

Allen shared that he was hanging out with Jason ahead of his first date with Kylie after the pair met on Tinder. “… For a week or two leading up to you guys meeting they were chit chatting online and Kelce’s talking about this girl and saying, ‘I really like this girl, I gotta make a good first impression,’ ” he said.

Allen went on to say that the pair had “pre-gamed” ahead of attending a holiday party in Philadelphia that evening as Jason announced he was going on his first date with Kylie that same night.

“Kelce’s like, ‘Yeah, I think we’re going to meet up with this girl,’ and I’d heard all about her and I’m excited to meet her,” Allen continued. “And the night just went a little bit sideways — and Kelce fell asleep on the bar, like snoozing.”

This hasn’t been the first time Jason has fallen asleep at the bar the pair shared, as Allen added that he has a “disturbing amount of like photos of [Jason] just asleep in various places.”

The football nose tackle then had the difficult task of trying to move Jason. “… It’s like cobblestone streets and you’re fighting me. I’m like straining and I dropped you,” he admitted on the podcast.

“ I know I was sleeping but I remember it,” Jason said. “I remember fighting you and laughing my a– off.”

He then asked Allen if he was “shocked” Kylie agreed to go on a second date with him. “I was slightly surprised,” Allen responded jokingly. “But you’re a great guy, you know, charming … how can you not want to go on a second date with you?”

Jason added that his favorite memory of playing for the Eagles was “going to Buffalo Bills, meeting my wife and passing out after getting drunk with a bunch of my teammates.”
