“That was physically one of the hardest things I’ve ever done,” Allen, 32, recalled on the podcast as Jason laughed. “That was harder than climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, maybe,” he joked.

Allen shared that he was hanging out with Jason ahead of his first date with Kylie after the pair met on Tinder. “… For a week or two leading up to you guys meeting they were chit chatting online and Kelce’s talking about this girl and saying, ‘I really like this girl, I gotta make a good first impression,’ ” he said.

Allen went on to say that the pair had “pre-gamed” ahead of attending a holiday party in Philadelphia that evening as Jason announced he was going on his first date with Kylie that same night.

“Kelce’s like, ‘Yeah, I think we’re going to meet up with this girl,’ and I’d heard all about her and I’m excited to meet her,” Allen continued. “And the night just went a little bit sideways — and Kelce fell asleep on the bar, like snoozing.”

This hasn’t been the first time Jason has fallen asleep at the bar the pair shared, as Allen added that he has a “disturbing amount of like photos of [Jason] just asleep in various places.”

The football nose tackle then had the difficult task of trying to move Jason. “… It’s like cobblestone streets and you’re fighting me. I’m like straining and I dropped you,” he admitted on the podcast.

“ I know I was sleeping but I remember it,” Jason said. “I remember fighting you and laughing my a– off.”

Kylie Kelce, wife of Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce and sister-in-law to Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, recently played along with a Swiftie theory that she was behind the Eagles lanyard sported by Taylor’s dad Scott Swift during Super Bowl LVIII, which notably replaced the Chiefs lanyard he’s recently been seen sporting.

While Scott, 71, is a Pennsylvania native, he seems to have turned into quite the Kansas City fan ever since Taylor, 34, began dating the guy on the Chiefs—but it looks like Kylie, a die-hard Eagles supporter, might be getting through to him.

In TikTok footage from the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, one Swiftie zoomed in on the Eagles-branded lanyard around Scott’s neck, even though the rest of his outfit featured Chiefs gear.

“kylie and jason…i’m onto you,” the video’s creator, Bethenny Pendleton wrote alongside the pics, insinuating that the couple may have had something to do with Scott’s new Eagles swag.

And Kylie all but confirmed the theory when she commented on the post, writing “Have you ever seen the grinch smile gif?”

Jason Kelce‘s former Philadelphia Eagles teammates Beau Allen and Chris Long offered the center some advice – and warnings – about retirement from the NFL as he continues to deliberate his future.

Kelce, 36, is believed to be considering hanging up his cleats after a remarkable 13 years in the league after Philadelphia was eliminated from the NFL playoffs by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round this year.

The father-of-three had strongly considered retiring at the end of last season but decided to return after the Eagles’ Super Bowl loss to his brother Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs.

 

And as he’s faced with the tough decision once again during the offseason, his former teammates, who he won a Super Bowl with in 2018, warned him about the change of pace.

‘It is different. It’s a little boring,’ said Allen, who officially retired in 2022. ‘You don’t have the intensity of football and that’s something that has been a little bit of an adjustment.’

He added that the lack of a routine – without constant training camps, practice sessions and games – could be a little jarring.

However, the former nose tackle added that there were some positives to retirement, including dramatic weight loss.

‘I’m just trying to live and spend as much time with friends and family, catch up on travel and hang out with you guys at the Super Bowl – just stuff you can’t do when you’re playing because you’re so committed to training and getting your body right,’ Allen added.

‘That’s what’s been fun for me, just doing things in a completely different way and live my life in a way I was never able to when I was playing. And lose a lot of weight. I was 335 lbs. up until a couple of years ago. [Today] I’m probably 278.

‘I’m sure whenever you decide to retire Kelce, you lose that weight and you get so much more energy. It’s so nice to not feel so f**ing fat and sweaty and sloppy, man.’

Allen revealed the greatest thing he missed from the game was the camaraderie in the locker room

‘That’s why I love doing the pod with Chris. It’s just an excuse to hang out with your boys and talk about football,’ he said. ‘That’s what you miss the most. You talk to any guy that’s retired and ask them what they miss about the game, if they don’t say the guys in the locker room, then they’re a f***ing phony.’

Long echoed Allen’s sentiments, explaining that NFL players share a different mindset to the rest of the population.

One story shows the Chiefs tight end at the Wynn Golf & Country Club with Kelce’s Instagram handle and their location tagged. Kelce’s father, Ed, previously mentioned that he is playing in a charity tournament but hopes to fly to Sydney soon.

‘Well, look, we spoke after the Super Bowl , and I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen,’ Ed told the Sydney Morning Herald.

‘He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments. He is at a celebrity charity golf outing today, which, I think, is in Las Vegas.’

Swift flew to Las Vegas after a show in Tokyo to support Kelce during the Super Bowl on February 11. However, Kelce appears to be in no rush to join Swift as she has four shows left in the land down under. Her record-breaking Eras tour will move on to Singapore after wrapping up in Australia.

Aside from the golf course, Kelce and friends also had a meal at a restaurant called Toca Madera. DJ Adam Daudier, who played at the venue during Kelce’s visit, also mentioned him on social media shortly after.

While the Kansas City Chiefs star has become a household name due to his football prowess and high profile relationship with Taylor Swift, Ed shared how his nieces have ‘Uncle Trav’ wrapped around their fingers.

Ed was referring to Jason Kelce‘s daughters with his wife Kylie. The pair share four-year-old Wyatt, two-year-old Elliotte and 11-month-old Bennett.

‘It all revolves around the girls, the granddaughters, as you can imagine,’ Ed said on Australia’s Today Show. ‘Who have, not surprisingly, both their grandfathers and their father wrapped around their fingers.

Last April, the Eagles signed quarterback Jalen Hurts to a five-year $255 million contract extension. Coming off of a breakout season and a trip to the Super Bowl, Hurts cashed in. But was the extra attention and responsibility that goes with the contract too much to bear?

According to Gunn, the banishment of Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro from the sidelines after he made contact with 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw during a December 3 game against San Francisco threw coach Nick Sirianni off balance and had a major impact on the team.

The Eagles lost in the wild-card round of the playoffs with DiSandro present. By then, however, the damage had been done. The Eagles were lifeless and unable to get things going on either side of the ball in a 32-9 embarrassment against the Buccaneers.

If the report is accurate, the Eagles should rebound when 2024 rolls around, with DiSandro back on the job.
