The Philadelphia Eagles’ stop unit doesn’t have a very encouraging outlook at the moment. For one, both Fletcher Fox and Haason Reddick are expected by many to part ways with the team with the latter reportedly asking for a trade. But what the Eagles could lose, they could also find a replacement for in free agency. For Reddick, it could be defensive end Chase Young, who played for the Washington Commanders and the San Francisco 49ers in the 2023 NFL season.

The second overall pick of 2020 was dealt from the Washington Commanders to the Niners at the trade deadline last season. He had 7.5 sacks on the year and added a sack and two QB hits during San Francisco’s Super Bowl run. Significantly, he played in 19 games, including playoffs, after injuries limited him to just 12 total over the previous two seasons.

While it would be tough to replace Reddick’s production if he moves on — he’s had 27 regular-season sacks during his two years in Philadelphia — the Eagles to this point have been hesitant to give Reddick his desired raise. Young still has plenty of upside and could likely be had at a manageable number.

Young was traded by the Commanders to the 49ers back in October for a third-round pick at the 2024 NFL Draft. In nine games with the 49ers, the former Ohio State Buckeyes star and second-overall pick had a2.5 sacks, 10 combined tackles, and six quarterback hits. Overall in 2023, he had 7.5 sacks in 16 games. As pointed out by McManus, Young now seems healthy after missing a ton of games due to injuries back in 2021 and 2022.

Reddick will be tough to replace in Philly, where he racked up a total of 27.0 sacks and 49 QB hits with four passes defended and five forced fumbles in 34 games (all starts). But the Philadelphia Eagles may not be interested in giving him more money in a restructured deal. It remains to be seen how the Reddick saga will conclude this offseason, but it is worth noting that the Eagles have options to chase after in free agency if Reddick ultimately gets traded before the 2024 season.

Hurts looked like a legitimate MVP candidate for portions of this past 2023-24 NFL season before he and the Eagles collectively fell off of a cliff down the stretch of the campaign, ultimately resulting in Philadelphia’s crushing loss in the wild card round of the NFC playoffs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It did not help matters that Hurts also saw a significant dip in the production of his usually solid offensive line, as well as his talented group of receivers, down the stretch of the season, which coincided with the Eagles’ demise; however, it seems that this offseason, the Eagles are making it a priority to keep some stability in their skill positional groups going forward.

Albert Okwuegbunam was traded from the Denver Broncos to the Eagles shortly before the 2023 season got underway after having been drafted by Denver back in the 2020 NFL Draft with the 118th overall pick. The tight end played his college football at Missouri from 2016-2019, ultimately opting to forgo his final year of eligibility and take his considerable talents to the NFL.

The conversation unraveled earlier this afternoon in the forum dedicated to the podcast he co-hosts with his older brother, Jason Kelce, New Heights. It began with the original poster (OP) exclaiming, “Who ever [sic] told Travis that he can’t sing? This man can saaaannggg!” alongside a link to the video in question.

For Kelce’s “surprisingly good” performance, he belted out the tune “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” by The Georgia Satellites while at the American Century Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe back in July 2022.

Hours after the clip was uploaded to R/NewHeights, hundreds of Redditors upvoted it and shared how impressed they were by the 34-year-old’s singing capabilities in the comments.

“this was… surprisingly good ,” one wrote, to which OP replied, “Right?! That song sounds like it’s easy to sing, but it’s not! And he totally pulled it off.”

“Much better when he hasn’t downed a bottle of Don Julio and at least a 12 pack of beer,” another quipped, likely referring to his drunken rendition of Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places,” which he performed onstage at the Super Bowl Championship parade.

A third joked, “Taylor saw this video and was like he’s mine.”

While someone else begged Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift to bring him up on stage for a duet during the Aussie leg of her Eras Tour, “Can we get him on stage in Sydney for a duet?”

And it’s not just the 92 percenters that believe Kelce has some chords on him, but the judges at the event who awarded him his second karaoke title shortly after the rest of the contestants took the stage.

However, none of this really shouldn’t come as any surprise as, like athleticism, the arts must run strong in the Kelce family blood as Jason, along with several of his Eagles teammates, record a charitable Christmas album every year, and this past year, it even featured Travis.

‘After everything had calmed down and I was going through the back tunnels, he grabbed me and pulled me to the side. All he really said was, ‘You’re doing it the right way, continue doing it the way you’re doing it.’

‘That for me was a stamp of approval, I’m going to continue to work this hard. Because if he says I’m doing it the right way, that’s the guy you want to be saying that.

‘Him seeing that from the opposite end of a football field and seeing the hard work I’ve put in and how I’ve developed in a season, that’s made me carry that mindset for the rest of my career.’

The Chiefs head coach Andy Reid also recently spoke about the moment between the two iconic signal callers, claiming that Brady told Mahomes he was ‘turning the keys over’ to him.
